After letting a few of his new companions slip away, Arvel smiles wryly at the halfling.
"It 'as been zee most exciting night, non? First zee crash, zee fire, zee fight! And now, zee intrigue! My new friends are certainly going to be exhausted tonight. It would be miraculous if arrangements for rooms had been made by zee time we return. And if our tabs have mysteriously disappeared as well? Zat would only cement zee idea zat we are meant to be working togezzer! Bon chance, mon ami."
"We all had pretty good teamwork during the fight. We should, if everyone wants to, stick together. I do need a guide through Waterdeep after all!" Aerys says smiling with a chuckle at the end.
Durnan waves Bonnie over to the bar. "Could you show this man the rooms behind the bar? They've earned em for the evening."
Bonnie smiles and motions you to follow here down the hallway behind the bar on the first floor.
Sarva has led the others upstairs, down a hallway containing several rooms. She stops before a corner, and says "this is where the troupe has their rooms. Around the corner, there is a door with a moon symbol on it. That is where Dalakhar stayed. It is one of the bigger rooms, so presumably either one of the featured performers, or a gaggle of smaller ones, has the room for the evening. I will return to the main floor, and keep an eye on events there."
Before we resolve any further actions, since we are split up, where is everybody?
(Could you provide a brief description of what the rooms look like?)

Arvel eventually rejoins the group. Since he isn’t particularly sneaky nor investigative, he’s going to hang out at the back of the party. Closest to the intersection of the hallways. That way he can dissuade any interlopers.
Bonnie shows Jun a large room on the first floor. It is not spartan, but it is plain, almost dormitory-style housing. A small writing table sits at the room's only window, and there are a half-dozen cots with blankets in various spots around the room. A wash basin rests against the far wall. Clearly, residents are intended to use this room primarily for sleeping, and spend most of their time out in the public rooms of the tavern.
Those in the main room:
"Thank you for earlier, but I want to be closer to the show," says Leilani, standing up to move closer to the stage. On the stage, Rusty Bighat exorts the crowd for another round of appause for Threestrings, as he directs some nondescript musicians to play while the next acts prepare. Where the backstage curtain has been singed away by the earlier fire, you catch a glimpse of the man who aided you and Threestrings in putting out the fire, apparently setting up. Pictures of mice, both physical and arcane, flank is area of the stage, as the man sets up dozens of small seats on what looks like nothing so much as three semicircular rows of risers. With a dirty grey, chewed set or robes and patches of coarse grey hair, the main almost looks like a mouse himself.
Those upstairs:
The group at the corner sees nobody to challenge their presence. Orynn is able to get to the door with the moon symbol easily, with Dekket nearby. The door, however, is locked.
Dekket smiles and says to Orynn kneeling in front of the door.
"If I may"
he then produces a little roll of leather, that he unfolds over his knee and selects a couple of thin pieces of metal that he introduces into the keyhole.
He concentrates and tries to feel how the mechanism works, making preassure in the exact points needed to make the lock turn and, hopefully, open it.
Threestrings would be behind the curtain to the side of the stage, but that part was burned away as well. He is tending to his namesake instrument after his performance. He nods in respect at your approach, whether for your efforts during the carriage crash aftermath or for your impromptu duet, you are not quite certain.
Orynn opens the door and walks into the room as Dekket cleans up his tools. After Dekket enters, Orynn closes and re-locks the door. If there is a window, the half-elf first looks for an escape route in case one is needed. Then, he begins searching.
OOC: Investigation rolled above. Looking at permanent fixtures, not items which would belong to guests — furniture, floor, carpeting, ceiling, walls, and moldings.
The guest room contains a four-poster bed close to the entrance, upon which the occupant's belongings are laid out neatly for the night's stay. Curiously, it includes an assortment of cheese in addition to the normal bedtime materials. As for permanent fixtures, the room also contains a mirrored dresser, a wardrobe, and a storage chest. There is no window in the room, and it is dark inside, though you can still make out what appears to be a chalked circle on the floor, ringed with burnt-out candles.
Aerys/those in the main room:
A few performers leave the stage here and there, to go to what appears to be a prep/changing area to the side of the stage. Nobody is using the stairs at the moment, though the crowd is getting a little restless for the next act to begin.

Cassie is still at the table in the main room, waiting and watching as she expects that she would only get in the way searching the room upstairs.
When Leilani gets up to move closer to the stage, Cassie hesitates for a bit, looking like she wants to follow.
She watches to see where Leilani goes.
Aerys casually says to Cassandra as Leilani walks away, "She is pretty sketchy isn't she, Cassandra? She gives me a weird vibe."
