At the three knocks, Orynn freezes. At Jun's words, he stops searching and extinguishes whatever flame is providing light. He then hurries to the door and waits for Dekket before unlocking the door, opening it, and exiting.
OOC: Is there a way to lock the door before closing it again? If not, we'll need to use thieves' tools to lock it back.
OOC: The adventure does not say, so, and in the absence of specific instructions to do so we are not going to spend time nitpicking you re-doing the a DC you've already made each time, so yes. You can manipulate the lock from the inside to lock/unlock without having to re-pick. Re-locking it from the outside, however, may be a different story, since there was no such mechanism in the hallway (and, if you think about it, ithat would kind of defeat the purpose of having a lock in the first place.)
"Get clear however you deem best. I'm not sure what's going on, but the theater crew seem to be expecting something to happen up here."
Jun then returns to the balcony to resume watching the show from above.

"That's one word for it, but let's see what the rest of the night has in store."
Jun leans just slightly over the rail to see Cassie seated with Leilani at their table; sending her a quick message.
("How are things down there?")

Some locks are key holes on one side and some type of lock (like a button) that can be done without the key on the other. I didn't know if it was like that, where they could lock it and then close the door.
Orynn follows Jun because, why not? He takes a seat next to the rail as well, glancing about for the trouble the human spoke of.
Hearing Jun's whisper, Cassie immediately starts glancing about for him, and the indication of 'down' leads her to quickly locate him on the balcony upstairs.
("Can't tell much. Mouse man seems to be rushing his performance though. Seems odd.")
Reassured that Cassie is alright downstairs, Jun relaxes a bit. With a small sigh, he closes his eyes and syncs his senses with Kita's, who takes off for a perch backstage, with a better view of the show staff and their activities.

Dekket leaves the room with Orynn after making sure that everything is much in the same place it was before they enter it. Just a quick glance, they were cautious so nothing should be messy...
- Let's tell the others... - he says to his partner in crime with a wink. It seems that he is having fun despite his headhache.
Orynn leans into Arvel. "The room is being rented by the performer which uses mice. He's been summoning devils. And ... in the mirror ... let's just say once the show's over, we need to check out the cellar." He gives Arvel a knowing look as he leans back away.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
"Aftair? Why not do it whial zee performer is on stage? Zat way zey will be less likely to interrupt you? Also, you might consider taking Rue. Zeir apparent obsessive attention to detail and knowledge of zee arcane might be useful."

Sarva approaches the returning Orynn, seemingly anxious. "Back so soon? What have you discovered?" She nods at Arvel. "If you have found a next step, your friend may be correct -- there is no better time to look into a performer's dealings than when they are busy on stage."
From the rear of the stage, you hear a distinctive halfling's voice "I don't care if this person impressed you with an impromptu duet, Threestrings, backstage is for current performers only."
Threestrings shrugs apologetically at Rue. "Apologies, but the little man has never been much of a talent scout. May I lead you back to your friends?"
After a couple minutes observation, Jun opens his eyes as he returns to his own senses. Almost simultaneously, Kita fades fades away like mist on a breeze.
Jun turns to Arvel and those speaking with him.
"Closer observation leads me to think our snoops may have simply triggered an alarm spell set by the mouse conductor. None of the other show folk seem to be acting oddly. Still, can't hurt to find out if he knows something more."
As he finishes, Jun turns back to head toward the locked room once more. When he arrives, he places a hand upon the door and whispers in a largely unknown language. He then returns to the balcony with the others.
(With his whispered words, Kita faded back into existence within the room and searched out a good hiding place, preferably up in the rafters if the room has any.)
"So, what exactly were you able to find in there?"

Yes, that is what i meant -- you can lock and unlock freely from inside the room, but you'd have to pick the lock from the outside.
That said, does this mean nobody is still in the room?
