Trapp has placed it on his person.  He is not going to be separated from it.

 Jun breaks away quietly back downstairs once more and returns to the table with the others. He speaks to Orynn and Dekket directly.

"Whatever the two of you have planned, I don't like it. Especially without knowing what message that woman gave to him."

He sighs.

"Nor have you given us much time to prepare if this 'trap' is at ten bells."

"And how do you know Trapp's partners will be meeting with him shortly?  That doesn't sound like the kind of information someone who isn't actively working with him would know. Did he tell you that?"

Cassie is still shaken and visibly somewhat confused by what Leilani is telling her.

Cassie, roll insight, please

OOC: Fingers crossed....

A look of sudden realization and shock comes to Cassie's face.

"You're working with him now, aren't you?!" she questions quietly, trying her best not to make a scene.  "Working with him against me?"

Cassie:

Leilani giggles, and for a moment you see the girl you used to know, before the laughter takes on an edge.  "Cassie, Trapp would not know you if you walked up and bit him on the bum!  Well, after that bit with the brooms and thugs, maybe if you bit him..."  She pauses to throw her hands up in mock terror "Oh, and thank you for saving me.  You and your friends.  I was working for him, but I finished that job a few minutes ago.  I threw you in anyways, just for old time's sake.  He'll know you when reads my delivery.  So will his partners...the whole city!  Think, Cass, at least one of us will be famous, like we always talked about!"

Jun (assuming you are still checking through Kita):

Valas Trapp finishes his magical clean-up, scrubbing away all traces of is presence.  He takes one long look at the mirror, and, seeing nothing, pats the tube slung over his shoulder, grins to himself, and exits the room.

Cassie is still confused.

"But why would you tell him about me?  WHAT would you tell him about me?"

"Cassie, Cassie, Cassie...we haven't seen each other in years.  What could I tell him?  No, I just added you to the list he means to hand over.  To whom?  Don't know, but when they come looking for those on it, be sure and tell me all about it?"

"What kind of list?"

Leilani leans in conspiratorially and whispers “do you know who is trying to loot the Vault of Dragons?”

Cassie gives Leilani a deadpan look.

"Not a clue.  Like I said, I only just heard about it at all today."

Leilani drops her voice even lower. “The people on that list are.  Or, at least, the masters of Waterdeep will think so, once they read it.  Or some criminal boss.”  She shrugs.  “I don’t know...whoever buys it from Trapp.  That list really is one of my most convincing  pieces of work.”

“As I said” replies Dekket to Jun “ I was only giving him false clues. We know the real place he should be meeting with his employers. We got him both in the wrong place and in a place we could go and interrogate him if we want to learn more. We have the true information he was seeking so now we have the advantage... or some of it for we do miss whatever Leilani gave to him. We are short of time or we do get enough to go there and set a trap. But we must act now, no time to call for a comitee. Are we, or are we not, going and make him some questions?”

"I am in. Give me one minute to speak wiz him and I'll 'ave 'im giving us everyzing we need."

Upon on stage, the mummers are still doing their play.  Valas Trapp comes down the stairs, and makes his way over to Rusty Bighat, off to the side of the stage.

Dekket nods and, if the rest of the party agrees, he will go outside the tavern, waiting for the others to guide them to the alley. 

Arvel follows Dekket. 

Orynn follows, still sulking. He looks one last time at Leilani and Cassie before exiting — and then at Jun.
