"Dalakhar will not be in the room," says Blossom. "In fact, as of today the upstairs rooms are currently occupied by Bighat's troupe, though I do not know which particular performer or performer occupies the gnome's room - just that the room is likely to be empty while they are on stage, but they could come back at any point when another act is on. Sarva can show you the way at your discretion."
"Leoros..." Valafar turns to his friend "You may not want to take part in this, but I think I will. You should stay close to me, though. I can still keep you safe, but you have to be near."
Sarva nods, and leads Glory to the western stairs. Up the stairs, there are several tables on a balcony area overlooking the Portal and the stage area. To the south is a door to the guest rooms. Sarva says "through that doorway, there are several rooms. You will look for the one on the end, with a moon on the doorway. The current occupant is one or more of the performers, who may come back when their act is not currently performing."
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
(OOC: I assume Darruk and Sarabe are following but hanging back)
Glory makes his way to the door with the moon on it. He attempts to open it: (stealth18)
(OOC2: not sure why my dice roll is not working ??, I know better than to try and erase it or such. If it doesn't resolve soon I will make another roll. Ok, it just resolved (not to my liking though))
(OOC: Glory casts knock on the door and it magically opens!!! Oh wait, I'm a first level sorcerer, sigh)
Glory hurries back to where the others are waiting. "Would any of you happen to have lock picking skills? It would, of course, seem that the door is locked. If all else fails we could force the door but that seems a bit extreme."
(OOC: Glory currently has 2 hit points and 0 spell slots available. At some point it would be nice to take a long rest. The short rest gave me exactly '1' hit point)
"Yes, that is what I was worried about, let's compare notes and see if we can avoid the 'axe'. If we don't come up with another option soon, that might be our best choice."

"Ok, here is the current plan. I'm going to try to Jimmy the door with my dagger. Darruk come help me (OOC: for advantage) the rest of you wait here for a minute and if we can't get it open we fall back to brute force" Glory hurries back to the door again and attempts to force the lock with his dagger using Darruk's help: sleight of hand: 13 or maybe acrobatics: 11
"Wait!" Glory tries to be quiet. "I just realized I have mad skills that I'm forgetting about." Glory instead quickly cast mage hand and sends it through the door to unlock it! (OOC: How long did it take me to think of that!!)
Ok, let's go.

OOC: I can remove or edit this post if I'm moving to fast. Just rolling with the theme :-)
Glory waits until the troop begins their performance and leans over to Sarva "I think it is time, lead the way."
Lot's of stuff ...

Darruk follows but hangs back a bit to watch in case anyone comes back early.
Saraba follows the rest, after grabbing another random drink off the table.

You make it to the door without any problems. It is, however, locked.

I don't know about locks, but I have an axe...
Just to clarify, did everybody go up with Glory, or are there people who have elected to stay in the main performance room, or head elsewhere?

Blue Eyes goes with Glory in case anyone tries to mess with him.
I have an intelligence of six, I know what I'm doing.

The lock resists your various creative attempts to bypass it. You may not have the proper tools on your person.
I was waiting to get Leoros' response before going anywhere.
Was my mage hand able to unlock the door?
Lot's of stuff ...
Leoros nods, "As long as it is in public, I can stay near. I will not go into areas without crowds, without witnesses, and I will not fight."
No, Mage Hand was not able to unlock the door.
