"First of all, I don't know what the hell you're talking about," Fumbles glowers, "And if you so much as move an inch toward my neck, I think you'll find out just how much quicker words are than actions. I am as much in the dark as you. If you let the blood settle in your brain, Karst, maybe you'd question how a rock gnome could even lift a greataxe like that, let alone take down an orc lord with it!"

"Easy, everyone. I didn't walk weaponless into an orc camp to watch my own party tear each other apart," Roccar says.

Glendale and Sal both look on, stunned.

Still focusing at the attending female Shieldsar, Meepo gives his statement to the rest of the group.

"If what Fumbles said is true, that will leave us with Sal as the next suspect since she actually spent time guarding the bag while under Glendale's order.

Sal, please lift both of your arms slowly and without resisting.

Ser Mary Glendale, I hope you won't find any ill will at us as we thoroughly search her possessions.

If she's clear of doubt, we'll search you next."

“Fumbles is clear.  One o’ you lot knows what we’re talkin’ about, though.  I’d bet me beard on it.”

”Now, missy, let me search ye calmly and we’ll have no issues.  Resist, and we’ll tell them orcs ye killed their leader.”

Karst leans back down to Fumbles whispering "Even if you are telling the truth, I'm still watching you, gnome."

Despite this he then watches Ser Mary Glendale to see how she responds to the challenge made by Meepo towards Sal.

“Roccar - please ask Sal to relax and not make this more challenging.

Sal - I noted your derision toward the Orcs when the wine was poured for the diplomatic proceedings. What will my Dwarven companion find in your bag?”

"What? How dare you!" Sal objects as Murmen steps forward to search her. "Ser Glendale!"

"Let them search you, Sal. After all, you have nothing to hide, yes?" Roccar says. Glendale says nothing, but nods and impatiently taps her foot.

Sal fumes, but holds her hands up and allows Murmen to search her belongings.

Murmen Perception: 21

Sal hides no weapons or other belongings on her person aside from a necklace of tusks worn beneath her coif. Her bag feels rather light, but when Murmen opens it and peers inside, he sees an extradimensional space much larger than its outer capacity. Beyond a doubt, this is a bag of holding.

"Meepo didn't know we had another one of those nifty bags. Murmen, why don't you try overturning it so we can see all of its contents."

Meepo observes next Ser Mary Glendale on her reaction regarding the search of her trusted subordinate's belongings.

”Lass, what’re ye hiding?”

Murmen will very carefully start to search through the bag.

Murmen roots through the bag, first pulling out a dagger, then a longsword. It only takes a few familiar looking weapons to discern that the bag of holding Murmen is currently searching through is the same bag of holding that should have been buried outside of Dark Arrows territory, but it is confirmed when Murmen pulls out Meepo's sword Thriller, and then his very own warhammer.

"Alright lass.  Start.  Talkin'.  Now."

Murmen will display the bag's contents to his comrades.

"I didn't trust the orcs! You were all unhappy with walking here unarmed. What if we needed those weapons in a desperate moment, huh? You'd have thanked me, then!" Sal responds.

"Aye, and that's why one o' these was used ta kill Azbetu?  What ye did jeopardized this mission, not helped it."

Murmen shakes his head.

"So . . .did ye kill him?  I want honesty, lass.  Ye've got nothin' to gain by lying.  Yer already in hot enough water as it is."

“Sal - you didn’t function as the rest of us did, with the faith in one another and the good of the mission in the forefront. Mistrust in the Orcs is one thing, but you showed a gross mistrust in your mates and us. Did you kill Azetbu and why?”

"You betrayed the trust of the parley, and you may have had a hand in murder. Answer the questions now."

Karst studies Sal's reaction as the tension rises.

Insight 17

"I did not kill Azetbu! Do you think I could have taken him down in the middle of his own camp? Besides, when would I have even left to do so? I've been with Ser Glendale the whole time!" Sal shouts.

For Karst:

Walking forward the paladin picks up his longsword, checking over the blade, knowing that the orcs do not wish them to be armed he raises a hand in acknowledgement, checks the blade and carefully places it down within easy reach.  Standing close to Sal he looks her squarely in the eyes, the angelic heritage clears as holy fire briefly plays across the unsettling pure white orbs.

"You know what I am, I am certain of this, what my Oath means, the deity I have sworn it to, and the lengths I will go to see that Vengeance is carried out.  I have seen your soul and I know that you are lying to me, I may not have seen you leave Ser Glendale's side but you are lying about having no involvement in Azetbu's death and we both know you are. Confess, make this easier for yourself. Azetbu has been murdered, it does not matter to me whether or not I walked here with the killer, because if that person is guilty I will take vengeance against them.  I will tell you but once, confess your crime and do it now, all the story Sal, nothing omitted, no-one spared."

Intimidation 11

“Or, ye give me a couple ‘o hours and access to magic, and ye’ll be tellin’ the truth whether ye like it o’ not.”

"Or perhaps I could go call in Juds and see if you'd like to converse with Juds and his contingent of 50 pissed off orcs.", Aradurk says plainly to Sal.

"Technically, you would be their first person to interrogate legitimately. Not that I would wish that on you - you look so nice in one piece. I think your time is running out though."
