Cloudfur follows the rest of his party out of the Skewered Dragon "How rude...."
Then he notices Dori and his new friend and approaches them, he begins sniffing the air as he gets closer to the strange character. He adjusts his nightcap to get a better view of the new person and reaches out to poke at him with his staff. Everyone notices at this point the hat is adorned with tiny dragons holding what appear to be teddy bears with tiny z's above their head with a purple poof ball at the tip.
"Who or what are you?" he'll peer quizically at Sizan.
Sariel follows closely behind, "I didn't even finish my lamb stew."He says as he leaves the tavern. A little annoyed and still kind of hungry, Sariel still holds the stale bread. He takes a bite out of it. While chewing, "So where do you guys...oh," he notices the gentleman addressing Dori. "Hi there." Sariel waving with his bread holding hand.
Sizan squints at Gargan at the initial comment, but curtly brushed aside both look and underlying feeling. "You did not indeed." He responds simply. As more gather about him, Sizan abandoned immediate answers in favor of simply folding his hands behinds his back, and letting things unfold. For a while. Aside from a raised brow at Cloudfur and his sniffing about, he raised no particular fuss or retreats from him. The scent of honey candy, iron, and ale can be picked up from him. Though the last seems faint. Possibly a byproduct of merely staying in the Skewered Dragon at length.
"Hello yourself, my Lady... or is it Good sir? I'm never really certain with you elves, as you are no doubt used to."He says, face visibly crinkling from presumably a hidden grin. "Call me Yazara. I would have your names as well, but as time is of the essence, those will have to be told as we go." He starts walking off in the direction of Candle Lane, but stops short to make sure the group is following. "I suggest you not tarry. The lesser of the Zhentarium are not known for their patience. And that Floon fellow did not appear to be too bright."
As you exit the tavern and are talking to your new contact, another figure approaches, stopping about 20' away. "Pimrick you fool. This is the company you keep? You made a commitment to me and the order, and you abandon that to become some cheap mercenary for hire? You're better than that!"
Pimrick looks at the group and holds up his hand "Stay back. This is my fight. The man isn't wrong - I abandoned an order I had dedicated my life to. I have to take my stand here, win or lose." He turns to face the figure, and sheds his thick cloak - ignoring the cold. "This is my final stand Vileam! Fall, and I walk free of my obligation. Defeat me and I will renew my vow and follow the order until the end of my days."
Vileam nods as his own cloak drops to the ground. He raises his arms as his hands meet, one hand covering a closed fist in front of him, closes his eyes and bows his head in waiting. Pimrick launches forward, jumps through the air and comes down with his fist on the mans face, following it with a quick offhand uppercut. Both glance off as if nothing happened. He swings again with two quick punches, which Vileam expertly dodges with a quick nod left, and then right. Pimrick spins around with a kick to the head, and Vileam raises his hand to block it, effortlessly. Pimrick howls in frustration as he continues his assault. Punch. Miss. Elbow to the head. Blocked. Kick. Block. He jumps back and sends an array of 3 darts towards the man - all miss.
Vileam cackles "You've let yourself go Pimrick. You lose focus. Forgot your training. It's time to go". Pimrick yells out and runs wildly towards the man with his fist raised. As he closes, Vileam brings his hand up, grabs his fist, twists his arm to turn him and then strikes Primrick with his open palm right in the center of his chest. He lets go, Pimrick stumbles back, stunned. He turns towards the group slightly and you watch as his body suddenly convulses, his eyes roll back into his head, and he collapses on the ground.
Two more men appear from the shadows and pick him up. Vileam looks towards you. "We'll take care of him. Despite what you may see here, he is among friends. You go about your business, find your quarry, collect your rewards. I hope you find greater meaning in your lives." The three men walk down the street towards the docks, turn a corner and are gone. You are left with the sense that the man is telling the truth - Pimrick will be among friends and will be able to continue the training he started. This foray into becoming an adventurer was nothing more than a lesson he needed to learn along the way.
Sariel smirks and chuckles, "It's sir and my name is Sariel and this is Pim..."
(At the same instance)
"Pimrick you fool. This is the company you keep? You made a commitment to me and the order, and you abandon that to become some cheap mercenary for hire? You're better than that!"
Sariel, seeing the duel between Pimrick and this stranger, wanted to help his comrade but decided to respect his wish to stay out of it. Clearly, it was something Pimrick needed to do alone.
Sizan merely raised a brow at the new disturbance. But anyone paying close attention to the man of mystery might have noticed him making sure to rests his hand on one of the short swords at his side. At the Aarakocra's wish, Sizan faintly nods in acceptance, but narrowed his eyes at the instigator. From then on, rather than get wrapped up in the duel, he kept an eye out for any watchmen. Even if they only loosely patrolled the Dockward, it paid to stay at the ready. Always.
"That was mossst... unfortunate. Do any of the rest of you have hunters on your proverbial tails? Ones with a pension for dramatics and unfortunate timing? No? Anyone?"Sizan asks after the duel was completed, and looks to all that remained with undisguised apprehension. As soon as it becomes clear there wouldn't be any more impromptu street balls in the near future, he starts leading the way again with a notable haste.

Completely bemused by the disappearance of Pimrick, in what seemed an awful lot like an abduction to him, Gargan suddenly realises his attention was drawn away from the newcomer Yazara. He readjusts his robe about himself making sure it is covering him properly and settles himself. He then turns to Yazara and says "A good question, and one that would be well answered by all present here but let us not tarry. Lead on."
The tabaxi having lost interest in the newcomer, totally missed out on the whole Pimrick confrontation because he was distracted by something high up on the side of a building, that when you try and see, can't see anything up there, but with the intensity that he's staring you swear maybe you are starting to see things up there too.
When he turns back around, the party seems to be one member short now and it seems the strange lizard person expects them to follow....
"Where did Pimrick go?" and he'll slowly start to follow Sizan cautiously sniffing the air.
Deciding to trust your new comrade, he leads you north through the dock ward to your destination. It's early evening, the sun is low in the sky, but the tall buildings on either side of Candle lane are so tall and tightly packed that it seems like this road ever sees much sunlight. The cold becomes more gripping as the sun descends. Gloom envelops the narrow alley as dark as a dungeon — and as odorous as one, too. Nearly all the streetlamps have been smashed. The only light that pierces the darkness is a faint flickering from down the lane, like a distant candle.
You walk down the alley towards the only remaining candle. Across from the light is a large building set back behind an outer yard, surrounded by a a high fence with a gate in the front. Just over the doorhandle on the gate see a now familiar symbol - the winged snake.
(You may continue the RP as you walk if you like - just let me know what you want to do next)
As you look around, you don't see anyone following you or outside this or any other building. You find a crack in the fence you can peer through, and see a large open yard with some crates stacked here and there, but again no one there. There is a door and two windows on the front of the building, which is about 30' back from the fence. There is light in the windows, but you don't see any motion. A single light beside the door lights the yard. You check the gate - it is unlocked, but you do not open it yet.
"Is this where we need to be?" Dori looking to the others for answers. "Besides, the city watch doesn't knock." Walking past Cloudfur and opening the gate.
"I love the subtlety that you and Dori have."Sariel says to Cloudfur as he winks at Dori. "We definitely do not look like the city watch. Maybe we are off duty, investigating undercover *pauses*...well...we wouldn't say we were city watch then." A little perplexed, Sariel figures out how keep up with the ruse if needed.
Aside from casually resting a hand on the hilt of his Short Sword, Sizan gives away little of his discomfort with the area. "I do not." Sizan states while staring daggers at Cloudfur. "In the future, when you have an idea that involves announcing our collective presence... Kindly do not follow through while I am around." He turns, and after giving the gate a cursory look over for any hidden alarms, Sizan makes his way on inside.
"But what is done is done. In the interest of keeping to your rouse, I suggest kicking the door open next. Meanwhile, I will get inside another way. A quieter one. Act fast, my... compatriots, 'fore they scatter." Sizan on that note creeps his way up to the window as far away from the main door as possible, and readies a few tools to open/unlock it once the others... IF the others go through the door.
"I understand, Sizan." Sariel agrees to the extent of announcing of our presence, but somehow feel confidant in the group's bravado. See that he is about to move, Sariel touches his shoulder with his hand. "Milil, please guide him."
Watching him closely as Yazara moves off round to the side of the building Gargan continues to observe the shadowy figure, not ready to trust him at all. Turning his attention back to their advance he moves out with Dori towards the door to the building, expecting his large friend to carry on and open it in his usual style he whispers to his friends “Be ready friends.”
"Is Yazara on our side? " Dori watching Sizan walk off then looking to Gargan and Sariel, but not waiting as he moves toward the door, planning to just open it and walk right in or kick it open if it was locked.
"Where is the beautiful, red haired man named Floon!"
