As they traveled, Melody continued to harass Finias, complaining and whistling grating tunes. Melody noticed Giacomo slow, then stop. She missed his first statement, but her eyes grew wide with joy as she saw him pull the spear out. Squeals of delight erupted from her as she witnessed the sudden violence, and she swatted at her Dwarf companion excitedly to get his attention, although he was surely watching. "Look at that. That's a pragmatic solution." A wide smile contorts the veil pulled across her face.
Giacomo's words catch her off guard, and she stops her celebration. Melody stepped into his space, head cocked as she looked up at him. "Some of my impulses you'd rather enjoy. And you can still bring a noose." She cooed softly, with a wink.
Once the fire was stoked, Melody pulled a cigar from her cloak and ignited it off the blaze. A plume of funky smoke filled the air, and she turned toward the group. "Before we have any more accidents while dealing with these backward villagers, we should establish some chain of command."
The girl's eyes go wide as the spear pierces through her stomach, being stabbed several times by Giacomo, her blood oozes out of the wounds as her body goes limp. She tries to say something as she collapses, but doesn't have the strength, falling dead.
Finias watches silently knowing at some point that karma is going to be a ***** and bite them in the bum but what does he know, he is but a simple minded jester... he shrugs and goes with the ebb and flow.

Answering Melody, "Lady, I am studying to be the greatest monk that ever lived. I have made vows of chastity and dedication already." Giacomo caresses his longsword, like mother with a baby, "I'm afraid your wiles will have no effect on me. Keep those skills of yours ready for when it benefits us. History has shown the high and mighty are just as susceptible to bouts of stupidity when a woman spreads her legs. We can use this to advance our causes. And worse comes to worse, your pimp..." Giacomo points to Finias, "... can sell your services for coin and we can all stay fed and housed until better options become available."
Giacomo takes the bloodied and torn clothing and prods the others. "Lets go announce the bad news to the village elder. Maybe we'll get paid to avenge her death."
In an instant, her head swung back to glare at Finias, "Is something funny?" She said sternly, each word colder than the last. "Other than the fact they think you anything more than my servant, Dorf?"
"You people are nothing but fools who can't see the great opportunity that was right in front of you. Do you honesty believe they will trust us with anything after this? Let's hope this Elder doesn't catch you any any lies Giacomo or one of us doesn't sell you out for coin."

“Spirit. In every language in all the Realms, surface and Underdark, in every time and every place, the word has a ring of strength and determination. It is the hero's strength, the mother's resilience and the poor man's armor. It cannot be broken and it cannot be taken away.”
Giacomo responds, "I have no intention of speaking with any Elder. One of you smooth talkers can do the talking. And there was no opportunity left to take advantage of once Melody shot her in the stomach. You are just too obtuse to realize that the best we could hope for was the girl accepted the attack as an accident. More than likely we would never have seen that 'best' outcome and the most pragmatic solution was for her to be dead. Now lets move on, no need to cry over spilt blood. What is done is done."
"Yes, let's all stand here and argue. All you boys are very tough and scary and need to prove it." Melody paused to take a drag of the cigar through the veil. The smoke creeped through the material as she continued, "Should I have shot the girl? Probably not. Error in judgment. Cranky from weeks locked up. Take your pick. If we can't work together from here? We may as well just kill each other right now. So, can we all play nice and make a plan?"
Giacomo shrugs, "It's all I can take dealing with the lot of you, I want nothing to do with a village full of people. If you want a plan, we have two choices. One, we go into the village, announce the unfortunate death of their damsel by goblins, with her bloody clothing as our proof, we learn what we can of the lay of the land, find a way to stock up on food and water and decide where to go from there. Or two, we just ******* avoid the village and live off the land until we reach another town or village where we haven't shot or killed one of their people."
"At least let the girl cool." says Logi from the back of the group, a little surprised at the rush of movement and blood, but seemingly unsurprised.
"It wouldn't do have this little charade done in by a bit of warm flesh." Logi takes a seat on the ground, apparently comfortable to wait several minutes before continuing on.
"And since we're on the topic, are we planning on murdering everyone in the village too? Or are we just going to manipulate them for information and supplies, and move on?"
Larry will stop for a moment of silent prayer over the corpse of the girl...dabbing his fingers briefly in in her wound and making marks on her forehead before the corpse is burned. He will also check her corpse for anything valuable.
"Caution in town...Caution.....we are heroes.....we destroyed the Goblin bandits. A small village...we can rule there perhaps... A base to spread the Dark Lords mercy."
Okay, so since your guide is now a corpse, you can use Survival to try and retrace her tracks back towards the town to make sure you don't go astray. It'll be up to two people, with one helping the other whom can make the check with advantage (assuming you trust one another enough)
Larry looks at Logi..."The Darklord frowns on excessive healing. It makes us weak in his eyes....However we have made a great sacrifice of this evil Maiden, and he is just and merciful."
Larry spouts a foul sounding word in Logi's direction. "Jat QaH"

Finias off in the background snickers and giggles... at Giacomo's words to his mistress!

Also anyone feel like looting her body?
OOC: Giacomo has +5 survival.
I can navigate, or help.
Along with Larry, Logi eagerly peruses the dead girl's belongings, treating her rather clinically.
"By the way, Larry, if you happen to have a bit of healing like what you did to this girl, I would gladly repay the favor later."
Larry looks at Logi..."The Darklord frowns on excessive healing. It makes us weak in his eyes....However we have made a great sacrifice of this evil Maiden, and he is just and merciful."

Giacomo looks over at Larry, "Apparently your Dark Lord only blesses you when you make sneezing sounds?"
@Kerric
I think you're in charge of the Survival roll this time.
If someone else is going to Help with Survival, then just roll again using my modifier (+5).
Giacomo says to the others, "the girl was heading this way and to travel for 'one candle'. Surely that can't be far. Lets be off!"
Survival: 11
Finias does what he can to Help Giacomo Survival 15 following his lead...
