Hi all. The more I learn about the underdark the more I love it. My husband has been DMing forever and told me if I wanted to try it out, PBP is the way to go. I am new, so please understand that.
I want to play an adventure where it is all things underdark. You can play any alignment but NE and CE. You can play any race that WOULD MAKE SENSE being in the underdark. Also, you have to have some way to see in the dark (class benefit or racial).
If you want to apply, I have the following rules
Start at level 5. You can subclass, but the main class will always be at least 1 level higher then the sub-class
Feats can be used instead of ASI
Roll for your stats. 4d6x6 dropping the lowest on each roll. After you do this, you can add 1 ASI point into a stat.
Any class but full casters are allowed (Wizard, Sorcerer, Bard, Druid, Cleric)
Gods are not gods, but powerful entities that can effect the world. They can be killed as well, and it will not destroy the planes.
Eshuvenniel Kazander Ravid,Valor Bard and Acolyte of the Goddess of Luck Caradoc Langham, Halfling Rogue - Lost Magics - Epic of Pre-made Proportions! I'm not looking for heaven or hell... just someone to listen to stories I tell...
Nice! A bugbear no less. This will be interesting for sure lol. Please put your alignment in as well moving forward, just so I can get the feel of what is happening =)
Pure Neutral. Brick does not give a WHAT! If no one is a Drow by the end of this though, I will hop over to that. I just didnt want to be grabbing that up for someone else to take =)
I am going to be running out of the abyss, but I will be tweaking it to fit a PURELY underdark campaign. So instead of "out of the Abyss" it is "into the abyss"
I can be a mountain dwarf battlerager if someone else wants the bugbear :)

This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Dragonborn Fighter(3)/Lock(2) Spy who was tracking a wounded animal a little too close to a cave. He might have also been spying on the growing drow population that has been causing trouble for the nearby city.
Ability Scores: Ability scores: 12813111213
I assume we can rearrange the ability scores to the ones we want?
Basically his backstory was that he was a knight in the service of some army that was at war with the drow so he was sent into the underdark as a scout. The Army's eventual goal would be complete conquest of the underdark.

Thank you. Yes but Devil sight is so good that I couldn't resist it even with the original class i had, 120ft even in magical darkness is OP. I haven't played a dragonborn so i figured this could work since Devil sight was already in my plan. I've added the character sheet to my original post. Let me know if there's anything I need to change/update.
A bit of backstory: Toryn served as scout and protector for his deep gnome enclave as they worked their way through the Underdark and mined for precious stones. Creeping silently through crevices and tunnels, he sought to discover any fell beast that might be waiting for, or hunting, his fellow gnomes as they went about their work. Several months ago, Toryn and his enclave entered a subterranean cavern that had been deemed safe just hours before their arrival. Five cloakers, however, had hidden themselves in the cavern in the meantime. Toryn was one of only four that survived the carnage. With his enclave in tatters, he has begun a new chapter in life: coupling his knowledge of the Underdark with his keen mind, skilled hands, and sharp blade, he seeks to provide aid to the decent and foil the plans of the corrupt. Sometimes the line between the two might be a bit blurry, but he navigates it as well as he's able.
Warlocks that are fey, celestial bladelock or GoO are okay. The fiendish one is okay if it is to something like an actual non demonic fiend lol... my Christian background makes me feel... icky about that.
That is why the demon lords you will run into in the abyss are not really demons... if that makes sense... idk... lol. Yeah! As I said, 1st time trying this out.
BH is allowed as well.
Carodoc, either looks good. Devon, if you wanted to, you could still be a half elf or drow.

Thinking about a Drow Blood Hunter if the BH is okay. Dex based, order of the lycan.
Edit: Well. That's a roll...
So are you making your own homebrew game in the underdark or running the module? Also, I was totally going to make a bugbear... I still might :P

Yes you can. Keep in mind with a Dragonborn, you are permanently locking up one of your eldritch invocations to have darkvision.

Well, overall it looks really good...but that 5 could really hurt...
Can I be warlock
I'd love to be part of your first DM experience...
O mighty and whimsical dice, please grant me some tolerable ability scores: 16 12 12 16 15 12

Dragonborn is fine if you take witch sight.
Genasi is cool too!
Great character ideas
I'm considering two possible options if I do decide to apply to this game, and I'm honestly kind of amused by them.
If you wanted to be a race that does not have night vision, doesn't the stalker ranger get that ability naturally?
