“Yah, that doesn’t sound like a good idea,” Grim says, walking over and handing the 2 daggers to flip. He keeps the spears as handy throwing weapons. “Let me in there,” he says to Flip, and tries breaking the lock himself.
"I mean... I have seen some potions before and I don't recognize these... maybe they have to be mixed to work?" Flip will look at the potions again before turning to Grim. Thank you for the daggers friend... min uhh.. broke.. Probably because I am so strong.. just applied too much force to it I guess..." The gnome will say with a smile.
Inside the chest Grim finds: another cloak, a lantern, a pair of goggles, a collapsed carved staff with leafy twigs at one end, and a large ruby encased in gold! There's also a pan flute at the very bottom.

"Anything in the Chest look Gnomish? or like a gnome could use it? I like goggles?!..." The gnome will say jumping up and down behind Grim attempting to look over his shoulder. "Also, does anyone else want to check out these potions? I am like.. 100% sure you have to combine them but I don't want to assume I know best" Flip will look to the group with his arms full of potions.
"I think you mean adventure is NEIGH! right Herbert? sticking his head out of the cart and looking to Herbert for acknowledgment... only for droopy steed to him to look and say "eeeyy owww "... "Flip will look at Herbert with a bit of dissapointment.. "Crap.. your a donkey... you don't neigh do ya... well crap.."
Val shyly walks up to Daar. "Hey D...D...Daar. I took this cloak from the witch and thought you might like it" Val mumbles while staring at the ground avoid eye contact.
"You thought I might like the cloak.. that you took off the corpse of the witch we just murdered?.... Of course I would, thank you." and Daar puts in the cloak. "Side note, an eerie voice just whispered in my head. Anyone else hear it?"
"Yeah... one told me not to mix the potions... which Is why I REALLY want to do it now... I mean.. if an evil voice says not to do something.. that is probably what you should do right?"

The chest is locked but looks like the acid partially burnt. It might get broken off with one good hit.
Grim finds spears and daggers on both as well as vails of some glittery liquid.
