"Well I think I can help there. I have no business with this Arboon fellow, you three can go back and get your reward and I will gather up supplies and prepare for us to go to the Brightwood Forest. We should leave as soon as possible and this would be the most effective option."
"And here I thought you needed magic to make that smell" Cor says shaking his head towards Garth. "But I agree with Twig. I just don't know what to tell him without acknowledging the orb. Any suggestions on how to word this discovery. Maybe the marvelous wizard could give us an idea? Cause I'd rather not tell him anything you don't wish us to let him know."
"You have successfully convinced me that you will all die trying to recover the reagents. I need to think of something else... In regards to Arbane, just tell him the truth. You fought off a horde of undead with the help of a stranger - he can even scry the area to see the bodies piled up around the building. Really, if you can't come up with a story to tell an old man, how do you expect to be able to travel the continent to recover reagents in some of the most dangerous places in the world?" Prozhar said, exasperated. His eyes were closed the entire time.

“I guess that magical shield of yours won’t raise any questions, then” Twig said matter-of-factly.
“Fine. I’m headed to an inn to enact my plan. Would any of you like to share my boat out?”
Twigwalked over to the staircase to survey the way down. Grimacing at the foul sight she went over to the window to see if she could get to the boat that way. Deeming the water an acceptable risk to not touch the former-zombies, she begins to climb out the window, pausing to talk to Prozhar.
“One more thing, how can we find you after we’ve retrieved this bark?”
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
“Excellent “
Twig then proceeded to climb out the window, and away from the corpses, scaling the wall downwards until just above water level. From there she leaped onto the boat.
Twig expertly climbed down the side of the building and, not wanting to step on the dead bodies, leaped from the wall to the boat. She landed in the boat and it rocked heavily to one side. As someone not accustomed to boats, Twig overcompensated and pulled all of her weight to the other side. The boat tipped and she fell into the water, but the boat rocked back without capsizing. She somehow managed to not touch any dead bodies. She was, however, in water with plenty below her.
Twig sputtered and spat and desperately clawed her way out of the water and into the boat.
While she was very unhappy to be wet, she had successfully avoided the zombies, which had been her main goal. Calling up to her companions “All aboard that are coming aboard!”
Cor then heads to the stairs. He climbs down the stairs to back the way he came. That wizard is literally the embodiment of arrogance. Cor thinks to himself as he works his way down to the boat
"One last question before I join my companions outside. How much bark do you need?" Garth asked. "Are we talking the size of my shield, palm sized, or should we just plan on bringing back as much as we can carry?"
Rad will follow them. "I could use a lift. While you guys speak with this Argyle fellow, I'll secure us a ride out of town. From the sound of it, if your meeting doesn't go as planned you may need a quick way out of the city."
The group loads up into the boat and takes off through the canals, heading straight up Queen Street to the bridge, propelled by Cor and his Shape Water cantrip. The ride was a bit more cramped with Rad in the boat, but the group managed.
They arrive at the bridge and Achuak stares at them, mouth slightly agape as they dock the boat right next to his. For what was probably a first for the lizardfolk, Achuak was speechless.
“We liked Queen Street” grinned Twig to the speechless lizardman. “I don’t think you’ll be having as much trouble with losing boats. Let us help you replenish your supply. I believe you said a boat would cost 50 gold?”
Achuak's mouth worked soundlessly for a moment before he was finally able to make a sound. "You went down Queen Street? And you made it? Where you get the boat? Did you run into trouble? What do you mean I shouldn't have any trouble?"
“As we previously told you, we were sent by Lord Arbane Dorsalor to...solve some problems. We went down Queen Street, and met hundreds of undead. With the help of a stranger, we defeated them. If you don’t believe me, go see for yourself. The corpses fill the street now. We are headed now to report to the most gracious Lord Dorsalor. As for the boat? It was... left for us. And it has served us well. So. 50 gold?”
Achuak's mouth opened and closed a few more times before he was able to speak. "Hundreds? I don't think that's necessary. 50 is for me to sell a boat. If I buy for 50, I make no money when I resell. How about 25?"

"Hah. Ever-confident, I see." Prozhar chuckled a bit to himself. "I'll be staying by the Docks. Room with a raven perched on the roof."

"The size of one of your giant hands, simpleton." Prozhar replies after opening an eye for a moment.
