Custom Campaign - Cold Cash

(has rolen been to Qixallia before?)

(Unlikely, but you could always have visited it when you were younger.)

"It's the homeland of my..." he pauses, looking at Tirana, "OUR people.  Jungle as far as the eye can see.  I've always wanted to visit, but it has it's share of danger as well, and I wanted to be sure I could take care of myself first."

"Sure, sounds interesting." Poldrik quietly says; like he's trying to be happy about it, but not quite making it.

"I suggest that we be on our way." Flayr declares. " I am sure there will be plenty of opportunity to purchase gear during our travels. "

Looking around quickly, Kabarr searches for a dealer of armor.  Investigation 20

"What's that?" Kaimos asks, indicating the wooden figure that Poldrik has been playing with.

Kabarr, you recall that the market district isn't far from the harbor, and there were a few armor shops in that area.

Poldrik quickly tucks away the figurine, and then absentmindedly grips a piece of armor, that is hidden on his arm, beneath his rags.  "It's... um... a family heirloom."

To Flayr and Gnook,” l want to take care of this while I still have the resources.  Do you two want to get anything?”  He says as he heads to the armor shops.

"Sure, I'll see what they have."

"No sense in waiting around here." Flayr replies, tripping over his long red robes in his haste to exit the boat.

Both Rolen and Kaimos believe that the figurine is likely a family heirloom, or it's not too important.  However, the piece of armor under his rags still stands out as odd.

Kabarr, Flayr, and Gnook head over to the market district.  Around you are tons of storefronts, thankfully all closed from the cold and heated inside.  There are often large windows displaying goods from each shop; from trinkets, to magic components, to weapons and eventually armor.

"I could use a decent blade." Flayr remarks as he heads for the weaponsmiths.

Kabarr says,” I will meet you at your shop after checking out the armor shop.”  Kabarr approach’s the armor shop.  

Rolen: (to Poldrik) "How did you meet Tirana?"

(i don't think the guy playing Pang is coming back, he hasn't posted in over 2 weeks)

(He said he'd be away for 10 days, but I think you may be right.  Does the group want me to remove the character or turn it into an NPC?)
