D.O.R.K is nothing, if not thorough. But after exhausting all other options, she returns to the Inn to deliever the bad news. Whether subconsciously or not, the living construct drags her feet to the point of possibly missing most of the action with the goblins. Out of everything she failed to do, her most recent one for the sake of a 'friend' weighed on her more than the weights used to test the limits of her body. If along the way she sees Torunn, her brother is given a wave in passing. But for once, she would not be inclined to force her presence upon him.
Meanwhile, back at the plot?
A very nervous looking Vark follows Beedo to whatever table the workers had in mind for the game. The whole he mutters complaints until the touch of Jaylen on him gives him start.
But he catches on quick, but remains nervous looking if only to keep up the act. "Aight, ya wanker. Let's do dis!" Beedo proclaims, standing atop a nearby seat proudly. "In this 'ere corner we got the lean, mean, green, bean, fighting construct -- Vaaaaaark the Bulwaaark!"He smirks and looks to the half-orc. "'nd in 'is corna we 'ave 'e challenger 'ere! Is 'e half-orc, or half-ogre? 'is 'e the mightiest in aroun' or just a oversized, wanna be owlbear. I give youuuuuu, Brick'ouse Bob! Taking all bets!" Beedo cackles in delight as he starts pulling out bits of charcoal and discard pieces of paper from his pack to follow through on his claims. All at the low low price of 5 copper pieces off any bets as his cut for organizing things.
One of the patrons realising what is afoot - an arm wrestle to be specific says "what odds will you give me for Brick'ous Bob?" Somebody else says "and me" and another and another and soon Beedo has ten patrons lining up to bet on Bob and none on Vark.
The Armwrestling rules - only to be read by Beedo
Having challenged somebody much bigger than him and with longer arms to an arm wrestle here is how it its going to work. A simple strength role modified by Athletics if they have it. But the Half'Orc's leverage means that he gets advantage on his rolls whereas Vark's much shorter arms means he is at neither advantage or disadvantage. First five winning rolls in a row equal a win
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Despite the clear odds stacked against his friend, Beedo grins broadly and starts rubbing his hands together. "Me brovah.'is s'rong, but uh... odds are three to one in Bob's favors. 'nd don' worry bou' the o'erside of fings. I'm a fair goblin. So, if ain't no one bet 'on 'em 'cept that lady there, I... got res'. NOW! Let's get this started."Beedo happily sets to work taking names and putting the total coinage off the side in an empty mug. Though if more was necessary, he borrows Vark's helmet, much to the goblins mild annoyance. But after all is said and done, Vark is more than ready to begin at any time.

Figured for the sake of some expediency I do the 1st 5 rolls in here ahead of time, applying the guidance to at least one of them if/when the time comes. Though I can spend D.O.R.K's inspiration on one of the rolls, I'll add it next to the 5th one.
The Arm Wrestle 1) Seeing what they believe to be an unfair contest most of Bob's mates are betting a day's (3 shards) on him. This means that if Bob wins Beedo will have to fork out 10 Shards. And so the wrestle begins. 2)Vark immediately tries to push Bob's arm over(24)but (25) with some effort Bob manages to counter, however his greater leverage means that he manages to forces Vark's arm backwards. 3)Vark tries to counter (22) the strength of the half-orc 13) which will not unexpected is overly surprising and manages to return their wrists to the starting point. 4) Somewhat tired (10)Vark is unable to capitalise on his previous effort and the Half orc (24) senses what he thinks is a weakness in Vark immediately pushs Vark's hand back. 5)Jaylen in a most extrovert manner, which is very unllike her calls out "c'mon Vark you can do it" and he attempts (15) to counter the Half-orc's merciless attack (24) but again fails to do so and his hand is pushed even closer to the table top. 6) D.O.R.K. walks into the bar to a few whistles and cat calls from Bob's mates because she actually is well crafted and has all the lumps, bumps and curves in the right spots. Not wanting to be bested in fornt of his suoerior, Vark redoubles his efforts (24) but (24) he just manages to hold off the Half-orc's prodigious strength and skill. 7)Having not found the wrestle as easy as he expected, Bob calls for a Tankard of beer and drains it with a gulp whilst still maintaining his pressure on Vark. 8) Beedo tries to wipe the sweat from Vark's brow but much to his surprise Vark just growls at him.
Need a whole bunch more rolls for Vark - put them in Post #1097
Taken aback, a pink-eyed D.O.R.K just stares back at the whistlers until Beedo's call of encouragement finally registers to her audio receptors. She quickly makes a beeline to the disturbance while avoiding meeting the eyes of Bob's mates. Though seeing as she probably had to go past them, it is easier said then done: even for her. If need be she squeezes past some folk to stare at the two mix-matched up close and personal.
"Beedo... Query: What is the third rule of the red fellowship?" She asks, eliciting nervous sweating from the goblin. But Vark, even in his strained state, hears and very subtly nods at her words. First, he redoubles his efforts in the brief time Bob goes to drink from the tabard, hoping at the very least to get a sputter out of the guy from nearly choking on it. Even if things don't pan out that way, slowly but surely he deadens all expression from his face, and starts unnervingly staring deep into the Half-Orcs eyes. Short of winning, nothing -- not even the slow but certain fall of his hands draws out emotion or much visible strain from the reserved goblin.
"Beedo... Query: What is the second and last rules of the red fellowship?" She inquiries without breaking eye contact on the two inter-twinned fingers. Again, Vark's ear twitches at her words, but he dare not break eye contact. Beedo, on the otherhand, has to scratch his noggin a few times before a light bulb goes off in his head. "Oi! Any of o'v ya seen Owlbears get down? If not, I got a story to tell ya."From there Beedo launches into the most disturbing and detailed story about the process of owlbear mating rituals, including a ridiculous and maybe /just/ credible description of the working parts of the creatures: both in action and out. All in an effort to both further unnerve yet enrapture the Half-Orc and his friends in the story.
Toruun looks around the room for a free space on a table or bench, on which he places the cloth wrapped bundle he carried with him. As he unwraps the bundle, he says, "I have been working on this, whilst on the road you see. The only problem I find myself a little short on black powder and the ingredients that would be required to make more." If Amelior chooses to, he let's the man inspect the nearly finished musket. "Are you able to help me?"
Amelior picks up the musket and looks at it. He says "exquisite workmanship and I particularly like how you have captured the story of Gond visiting Lantan during the time of troubles."He then runs his hand over the flint and trigger mechanism and continues "you might want to do a little more work here as it could catch and cause a misfire." He puts the musket down and says "black powder! Of course I have the makings of it. How much do you need?"

The Arm Wrestle continues
1)As Beedo finishes his story, Bob (18) starts laughing so hard (see spoiler) his grip slips and Vark immediately tries to capitalise [7]however Bob (25) manages to counter Vark's counter-attack and continues to push Varks hand closer to the bar. Vark's hand is now at a position equivalent to 10.30 (i.e. 2 steps back from vertical and 2 steps from horizontal - loss of arm-wrestle) 2) Whilst still guffawing at Beedo's joke, Bob does not give up and (21) and continues to exert pressure on Vark [6]pushing his hand back to the 9.45 position (one step from a loss) 3) Vark then tries to rally his failing strength [18] and Bob (16) fails to counter and finds his hand moved backwards as Vark manages to claw his way back to the 10.30 position. 4) Vark then tries to build on his success [23]and manages to 14 force Bob's meaty paw even further upright! (11.15 position) 5) However, it would appear that his strength is fading [7] as Bob (18) reasserts his dominance and once again pushes Vark's hand back to the 10.30 position. 6) Vark vainly tries to resist the pressure (22) which Bob (14) fails to counter. 7) Bob turns to the audience and still maintaining his pressure on Vark's hand - which is now at the 11.15 position - says "this Gobbo can wrestle, lets call it a draw! But you" - he glares at Beedo - "are shouting the bar for breaking the golden rule and trying to distract a wrestler!" 8)If Beedo agrees to the penalty it costs him 120 nibs (CP - 1.2 GP) as the 30 longshoremen who have been watching the wrestle are provided with mugs of ale, plus whatever drinks the party wants. Bob raises his beer to Vark and says "to one of the most challenging wrestles I've had for a long time!"
Impact of Beedo's story
Bob does not have advantage for 6 rounds
Ignore warning its because of the dice roll in the spoiler
Torunn looks at what Amelior points out. "Thank you, I will work on that." He then thinks and does some mental calculations. "About 3 pounds? I dont know when I will get another chance to stock up, so better by extra now."
"About 3 pounds? I don't know when I will get another chance to stock up, so better buy extra now." Toruun asks
Amelior says"3 pounds, hmm I can do that. Tell you what since I don't need the Dragons, how about you agree to do me a favour at some stage in the future as payment?
Vark eyes lit up at the offer. "Wazzit? Y' I aughta'-...!" He freezes mid-tirade upon feeling D.O.R.K's cold hand grasp his shoulder. She doesn't say anything however, but the warning grasp is enough to leave Beedo grumbling. "Bah! Technically, I proved my point."He puffs out his chest until the glares from the longshoremen prompts him to go fishing around in his pack for the coin along with handing everyone back their offered silvers. Granted, the latter only happened after an exhausted Vark joined in on the glare down for having been thrown to the proverbial wolves.
As they didn't exactly have the nibs alone to cover the penalty, he settles for putting down a straight 2 dragons on drinks for a round and a little more for the longshoremen. Meanwhile, a sore but triumphant Vark mutely basks in the praise, and goes so far as to stand in his seat to start flexing on the spot, showing off the results of D.O.R.K's training regiment. The living construct in question just shakes her head at the two. "You have my apologize, Aco-... Lady Jaylen. It seems I misread another situation. If you require compensation-...."She trails off there to wait for word from cleric, uncertainty enter her voice in... a long time.
Looking next to her Vark and Beedo, then remembering her own lack of funds, she whispers a reminder to Beedo to remember arrange lodging for himself for him and Vark. The two otherwise spend the evening eating and drinking with the longshoremen, while Beedo tells them the full story of their journey so far, and the dangers faced on the way... with some embellishments here and there. "... It is getting late. As I do not require rest the same as you fl-... as the rest of you, I will work including your recent request into the morning regiment, if that is alright. I do not wish to... it would inappropriate of me to take up the rest of your evening with training."She says to Jaylen, then looks to the longshoremen that whistled at her earlier. "Query: Before you go, can you confirm the meaning behind those whistles earlier aimed at my person? At least, I believe it was, though I could be mistaken. My perception receptors are due for some realigning."

Jaylen would request evening training, sighting not wanting to start the day tired. "I'd rather go to bed tired and start the day well-rested," she explains.
D.O.R.K acquiesces after a moment's hesitation, wishing not to disappoint her new friend, even if her inquiry had been side-stepped. "If that is your wish. We conduct the initial test in your room upon its acquisition, as I will be spending my... 'rest' either in or near the stables." She expresses, and without more to add follows after Jaylen after shooting her acolytes one last worried look.
When the evening training begins, D.O.R.K limits the initial steps largely towards testing any illusion to physical interaction, and counseling where appropriate how best to mask the discrepancy; such as limiting notice, creating physical obstacle illusion using surroundings and perspective, and few other war tactics logged from her time of study involving them.
(Aside from refreshing on rations, and at least attempt to acquiring 10 foot pall and cartographer tools set, I'zza good with whatever.)

At the mention of stables, Jaylen's face goes white. "Trayan," she whispers. She then looks at Dork, "D ... ork?" she asks slowly. "Do you ... trust ... your acolytes?"
Jaylen will do as Dork instructs, glad to test the limits of her gifts and learn more about them. After training, she will accompany the construct to the stables to check on Trayan before going to bed.
