Torunn heads back inside when he is satisfied there is no longer a chance of pursuit.
Vark and D.O.R.K opt for one reason or another to stay below. If Torunn doesn't go up however, Vark approaches hima bout using some of his godly mumbo jumbo to turn his sole remaining scimitar and some daggers he found into longsword. A red bladed longsword with maybe some kind of channel thing to make coating it in coil and fire easy.
Torunn thinks for a moment and scratches his beard. With a grin, he says, "I am sure I can come up with something of the sort. Give me a day or two and I will have your flaming longsword ready to go!"
If no one else requires his attention, Torunn will leave the group taking the offered weapons from Vark. As he heads back to his little makeshift workshop, he looks over his shoulder and says, "Remind your brother goblin that his armour isn't going to make itself. He better not spend too long up there if he wants his armor done in a timely fashion!"
Lukian’s amused grin falters at the end of Beedo’s explanation. His brow narrows slightly at the goblin. “No. I should get back to working on the armor.” He repeats the correct word and disappears back down to the ground floor.
Not seeing any further threat from the castle/spire Devin heads back inside. Seeing Aslan follow Zeph down he grins at him.
"Really Aslan? You were supposed to wake him up, not play with his beard. You should have peed on his face."
If you were looking at Aslan you would swear that Tressym shrugged before flying over to Devin's bedroll and curling up and going to sleep.
Devin rolls his eyes. "Cats!"
He settles in and examines the items found.
"A bag of holding! An excellent find. Torunn could use this to carry all of his supplies while he builds all of that stuff. And pixie dust is what this other stuff is. Not sure exactly what it does though."
Onward, ever Onward, the Castle drifts - Day 2, Third Ten-Day, Month of Eleasis
The castle continues to drift northwards and eventually the Castle/spire below drops out of site (OOC: I am assuming that nobody wanted to go visit). Eventually Beedo works out how to get back down from the second story - probably around dinner time on that day.
On the second day after the cultists attack as the Castle is passing over the a broad valley, Devin and Lukian are sitting outside the castle discussing the merits of Mystra and Lathander and exchanging what they know on their lore when Lukian suddenly looks off into the distance, and then looks again. He turns to Devin and says "I think that, that is enroute to us and planning to visit." Devin looks off into the distance where Lukian is pointing and he can see a Dragon that appears to shimmer in the morning sunshine and with a frill running from the top of its head down the length of its body (approximately 25-30 feet including tail) and a wingspan easily in excess of 50 feet flying towards the castle. It is about 800 feet form the castle when Lukian and Devin spot it and appears to be carrying something in its claws.
Based on the speed with which it is flying you estimate that you have about a minute before it reaches the castle.
As soon as Torunn gave the all clear, Vark began dancing and hopping around on the spot in silent excitement. He immediately stopped at the warning, gave a crisp red fellowship salute, and then hustled along to start calling Beedo down about it. To his dismay, Beedo had been determined to try out his magic trick to gain access to the orb, with or without most of the requested items on the list. But eventually he comes down, and somewhat grudgingly gets back to work on the hide armor. Once he gets to work however, the goblin surprisingly gets back into the swing of things rather gleefully.
When Devin gets around to completing his study into the dust and bag, Vark doesn't even hesitate about going along with the suggestion. Though he does comment on it, saying, "Bag of 'olding? 'at'a real name fer it? 'ats 'e dummiest name I ever 'eard. It's like saying a one of 'em waterskin is a bag of water conta'nin."All jests aside, he does wish to keep at least 3 uses of pixy dust for himself to figure out later.
True to her word on the following day, D.O.R.K gathered her acolytes following the usual morning drills to recieve the Blessing of the Red Knight. "Query: He has what now?" She asks, following Beedo's belated report on the second floor. Afterwards, she starts calling Meiva over, promising something interesting to take her mind off the ride. All the while blissfully unaware of impending doom... until Lukain and Devin come back inside. Hopefully!
Devin jumps to his feet. "A dragon, coming this way! We better warn the others! And Zeph better not be sleeping this time!" He quickly enters the castle and lets them know what is coming.
"A dragon, it shimmers in the sunlight and easily has a 50 foot wingspan! It carries something on its back and its headed our way."
He pointedly looks to Beedo. "This is no time for your shenanigans. A dragon is not a creature you wish to insult just because Vark is such a good arm wrestler."
Looking back at the others. "It is likely a good dragon, only in meaning it is unlikely to attack outright. Perhaps we can parlay with it and find its purpose."
He then heads back outside to watch the dragon approach.
D.O.R.K puts a hand on Meiva's shoulder. "Beasts, Acolyte of Sylvanus. The giant has beasts of no doubt interesting proportions. While I have not had the privilege of expanding my knowledge base in all that may interest a follower of your god, I do believe that such creatures follow readily in the interest of at least your elven heritage, does it not?" She asks, though peters out near the end hearing Devin return to sanctuary.
"Peh! If I can kick a giant's arse, I'm pretty sure a dragon ain't gonna be much of a problem for me and me brovah 'ere." Beedo proclaims proudly much to Vark's nervous look about the news. "Query: A dragon, you say with glimmering scales?" D.O.R.K cuts in as she steps up to to Devin. "Query: You do recall the warning given to us about prior interactions between dragons and giants, correct?" She inquires, but only gives Devin a few seconds to remember before turning to her acolytes. "Back to the doors. We shall seal it for the time being, and ascertain the intent of the creature. However-..." She glances to the others. "As such a course is unlikely to impede its progress by much, "Good" or not, it would be wise if someone can ensure our host is truly awake this time." She said as a matter of fact tone, and then made her way in two with the goblins in tow.
Vark remained wary about the whole event, looks fleeting towards Torunn in hopes his sword might be ready. If not, he settles for D.O.R.K's offer of her javelin enroute to sealing the door shut. Beedo is not far behind the duo, but leaves bracing the door to the two. He, on the otherhand, keeps a bow trained on the entryway at thirty foot pace.

Lukian hesitates at Devin's request, looking longingly at the approaching creature, but finally re-enters the castle, crosses to the center, says, "Suas! I need access to the control room!" and floats to the second floor to summon Uncle Zeph. "Uncle! A dragon approaches!"
The party spends about a minute discussing what has been seen and what to do (OOC: normal speaking is about 15 words per round although Beedo speaks faster and D.O.R.K. a little slower).
As Devin and D.O.R.K. move to close the door (see map) and Lukian dashes to the liftwell, you hear a bugling cry, and just faintly hisses and screeches of alarm before there is a loud thump as if something heavy had landed on the top of the castle.
With the exception of Devin, D.O.R.K. and Lukian as I have already placed them, can people please tell me where on the map they are?
As the party arranges themselves (see map) and Lukian starts to move up to the second floor (OCC: it will take him two rounds to move up the liftwell) those of the party adjacent to the door see six misty figures ooze through the cracks in the doors. Two of the figures ('D' & 'N') have moved beyond the line of Vark, D.O.R.K., & Devin and can now be seen by Meuva, one is adjacent to Devin ('V') & three ('H', 'I' & 'G') are currently sharing the space wiht Vark, D.O.R.K., & Devin respectively.
D.O.R.K. you're up! followed by Toruun and then Vark
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
"Warning! More gaseous adversaries detected! Initiating New Protocol."D.O.R.K plays a hand just above the symbol on her forehead, then motions as if to draw something forth from it. The haft of a spectral, red lance materializes mid-motion in hand, and following a final, hard yank, the entirety of the weapon flies seemingly out of the symbol into the air and hovers just above her.
"Execute." As D.O.R.K wound up to swing at "I" using Door Knocker, the lance shoots down to stab at (N). "Acolyte Vark. Plan D." She calls out after as she re-oriented herself to swing again.
Bonus Action:Spiritual Weapon - Attack: 18 Damage: 8 force type on (N).
Action:Door Knocker Attack: 12 Damage: 14 non-magical bludgeoning on (I).
For When Vark's Turn Comes Around:
Vark at least partially heeds D.O.R.K's word, but motions something to Beedo. Then in an abrupt movement, he nimbly maneuvers around the nearest mass until he stood side by side with Meiva(NW-10F) before taking a swipe at (N). "On wit' ya Black Wind Wind Bags! Get on, get!"
OOC: Can Lukian act even though he's rising into the air?
Yes he could act within reason. By the end of his round he will have risen 50 feet in the air! Given the distance he probably can't see the misty shapes - all he can hear is D.O.R.K.s command and see him swing at something that seems to be standing right next to him as well as summon the Red Lance to strike at something behind him. Lukian's initiative is straight after D.O.R.K. and before Toruun,

Devin laughs at Beedo's bravado. "That's something I'd like to see."
Heading for the door to go outside he changes his mind and calls Lukian inside.
"D thinks we should seal the door and I agree. Can you head up and get Zeph and let him know what's going on?"
He looks back at D and then moves to the right side of the door.
"Yeah this might not be pretty, dragon and giant mixing no matter what color the dragon is. Maybe this one knows Ingar?"
I'm assuming we got a couple long rests in the days between so spell slots, etc are reset
Torunn is still tinkering in his workshop, completely in his own world. Short of someone coming and yelling at him, he has no idea what is going on.
Lukian hesitates at Devin's request, looking longingly at the approaching creature, but finally re-enters the castle, crosses to the center, says, "Suas! I need access to the control room!" and floats to the second floor to summon Uncle Zeph. "Uncle! A dragon approaches!"

Torunn will be in one of the corners tinkering. Lets say D3
Meiva's expression brightens somewhat.
"Yes," she replies.
"I would find that quite interesting. If-" but whatever else Meiva would have said is cut off by Devin's warning.
Meiva frowns, buckling her shield.
"A dragon. Interesting, but not in the same way. Silvanus protect us."
And that's all I have to say about that.
