The conversation continues as the party manages to find a small rockshelter that they can huddle in for the night and get out of most of the rain which continues to pour down. Fortunately the wind is from the South which makes it a bit more bearable. Despite their best efforts they can't seem to get a fire going and its going to be a cold damp night. The party huddles down gnawing on dry rations while Golemogote grazes and forages but looks distinctly unhappy about the rain.
The night passes uneventfully and next day they break camp. The warm wind from the South continues to blow but at least the rain is gone. It is however going to be a coolish day (60F / 15C). As the party is breaking camp 34 you hear muttered curses from Toruun; water has got on top of his cask of smoke powder but fortunately does not appear to have got into the cask itself.
The party continues to climb further into the hills. Early in the afternoon you hear the yapping of dogs and whistles coming from up ahead.
As Torunn fusses over his smokepowder and tools, he refills his pouch that he carries on his person, before ensuring the cask is tight and weatherproof as the rain could be hanging around for a while. He then checks his musket before wrapping it up and putting it away.
When he hears the dogs and whistles he finds the two goblins and DORK, "Red, should we send your acolytes to scout ahead?"
Torrun wasn't the only one to fuss, as the previous night's rain left her a little paranoid about personal maintenance come the next morning. The usual morning drills are as a result canceled, but she yet made time for her acolytes for the usual blessings for aid for the coming day. Before then, Vark would seek out Torunn for a stilted request for better armor. "Like you'z did before. 'n... well... can ya make it red too? S-see'n.. well.. 'is 'ere got broken."He asked, as Beedo more than happily got in some extra shut-eye that morning.
Much, much, MUCH later on, DORK nodded faintly in agreement to her brother, though would first try to at least partially see about obscuring Golemgote between the valley of close by hills. "I and Vark will remain on the ground until he returns. The rest of you should stay on Golemgote until the report comes in the event there is need of a more tactical repositioning."She would say as much along the way, and soon after would disembark to speak with the goblins. Both appear somewhat skeptical initially, but at the mention of dogs, Vark vehemently shakes his head, much to Beedo's amusement.
"Don't worry, Boss. 'e just slow me down anyways. I totally got it all 'andled, you'z just leave it to me."Beedo would say as much, and to start scouting the area ahead. Sometimes its a belly crawl, sometimes he uses what valleys between hills are at his disposal, and sometimes whatever mud and dirt he can cover himself up with is used to stay as hidden as possible during his approach. He would initially go no further than 100ft ahead of the others for a look around, climbing hills as necessary.
Torunn turns to Vark, "I can make you your armour, but the colour is on you." He states simply, not even looking up from what he is doing. Then remembering he is talking to a goblin, he adds, "But if i see it red from rust, it will be the last thing I make for you, as these are a gift from Gond." he adds, looking up at the goblin for the first time as he says the last bit.

Suddenly two large dogs run at him barking and growling menacingly. Beedo hears a voice cry out "Wolf, fang wha' av theur fahn'? wha' is it?"
Beedo starts to go for a weapon, but in realizing taking both might be difficult, faked them out with a punch, only to scrambling away in the exact opposite direction... and right back to the group. "Boss! Boss! Company! Fook'in got 'ounds!" He shouts at the height of his run while following protocol 'RaR or Get the **** out of Dodge!' as he reflavored it after learning of it.

Beedo is crawling through the grass when the dogs rush at him so he will have to use half his movement to stand up but does he do it in time?
Initiative: Beedo = 23 / Sheepdogs = 20
Beedo stands up (half movement) and runs for his life (covering 45 feet) screaming out"Boss! Boss! Company! Fook'in got 'ounds!"As he stands up you hear a voice "well ahl be eur sheep stealin goblin! fang, wolf chase, attack, kill!" The dogs lope over the hill after Beedo but he manages to keep just ahead (5 feet) of them.
Lukian scowls. "What is this new trouble?" He stands, watching the oncoming goblin and dogs.
Ready action: When the dogs are 30 feet away, he will use fey step to teleport 30 feet in their direction, appearing within 10 feet of them and using his autumn effect to attempt to charm the dogs with the hope that it will cause them to stop chasing Beedo. WIS save DC13 or both dogs are charmed by Lukian for one minute.
"Unknown. Everyone on your guard. Vark-..." The goblin hastens out the back of the carriage and joins D.O.R.K's side as she strolls up a nearby hill for a better view on the situation; wholly undaunted by any concern of the 'ounds spoken of by the goblin. Though if she hears any yelling of another, she would pull out a spear and hold it out to the side as she crest the hill. As for Beedo, he again pulls the old goblin maneuver of throwing back pocket sand into the faces of the hounds as part of his disengaging from danger, before full booking it the rest of the way to the others. The moment he lays eyes on D.O.R.K, he immediately ducks behind her.
(Mechanically speaking, Beedo Disengages as a bonus action, and as an action continues to dash for friendly territory.

Lukian disappears and then suddenly appears next to the dogs (Charm saves = 6 & 20). One of the dogs (Fang) no longer feeling threatened backs off rather than attack but is still wary while the other (Wolf) is rolling on its back and pawing at Lukian trying to get him to rub its belly.
At the same time Lukian can hear several voices and the bleating of what sounds like a large flock of sheep. The shepherd who had set the dogs on Beedo stops at a safe distance and hollers "Theur be neya goblin bur wha' av theur done ta uz dogs?"
Devin remains with Gol and takes the reins and ties them off if there is a tree to do so. He then moves to follow behind D but stays back behind her about 20 feet.
"Greetings in the name of Lathandar," Lukian calls to the shepherds. "Your dogs are charmed to give ... our goblin a chance to find safety." Lukian looks at the goblin, a bit of regret on his face, then back. "He means neither you nor your flock any harm. He was simply scouting ahead of our party. Call off your dogs, and I will release the light."
"Call off your dogs, and I will release the light."
"Eur goblin 'a' means neya 'arm, 'a' is eur turn up fert buks!" the shepherd comments before crying out "Fang. Wolf cum 'eear!" the shepherd cries. Fang - The dog that was standing some distance from Lukian - trots back to the shepherd, while Wolf - the other dog - continues to playfully roll around on its back in a vain effort to get Lukian to rub its tummy.
Lukian bends down and pats the creature's chest. "Go on," he encourages.
OOC: Turns out there's nothing in the description of the effect that says I can release it, so it's charmed for one minute unless any of us deal any damage to it.
As Lukian bends down to give Wolf a rub on its head it takes its chance and leaps to its feet. It places both paws on his shoulders and gives him a big sloppy kiss - i.e. lick with its tongue before turning back to the shepherd looking once over its shoulder at Lukian.
Watching in amazement the shepherd says "'e mun li' theur 'e doesnot doa 'a' often."
Meanwhile the bleating of the sheep and the barking of other dogs is getting louder.
After the third time of listening to the shepherd speak, D.O.R.K has had enough. She promptly traces her holy emblem until eyes lit up gold, and a faint inner light poured out of her mouth. "Pardon the interruption. But Inquiry: Have you seen or heard any giants roaming the local area, or have potentially been accosted by them in the recent few months?" She asks of the shepherd.
(@All: That's right everyone. I spent a 3rd level spell to try and understand a Yokel..)
