Devin looks around for cover as his target moves out of sight and a barrage of crossbow bolts fly his direction. He tries to judge the distance between himself and them. If he can find some cover he moves towards it. If not he backs away 30 feet from the foes that just fired at him.
At the same time he calls up Mystra to heal himself as he casts Cure Wounds (lvl 3) on himself for 19
post #3538, just as we started to attack the guards in the bush. I think with all the action, less than an hour has passed.
Marginal but since I've not been keeping an accurate track of time we'll let the dice gods decide (1-3 time has expired 4-6 Still current with d10 minutes to go) {4} and {6 minutes left to run}
Unflinchingly, D.O.R.K continued her ascent until able to at least get over the parapet. The moment she did so, Helm Splitter gets drawn and immediately put to work trying to cut down the nearest guard to her. Or, if none happened to be close enough to one, helm splitter is yet drawn, but her posture becomes more defensive while trying to assess her new position.

D.O.R.K continues her ascent/assault of the defensive formation a bolt ridden mess, but a determined one all the same. Once finally at the top she'd have an answer for all the shooting. But until then, she would start chanting in dwarvish a hymn about endurance and resolve to both keep her focused, and call upon a miracle to restore at some of her body.

Sorry as SoF has somatic you can't cast it whilst climbing so the damage stands. However you've managed to get to the top so you can now cast Healing word as your bonus action and attack.

Given its a vertical wall you're scaling that'd be a no.
Ebonmitus calls upon the Earthmother and reaches his fingers towards the last place he saw a guard, and when that guard leans out to take a shot at D.O.R.K. he fires a guiding bolt using a level 2 spell slot and a blinding flash of light leaves his fingers.
Attack: 25 Damage: 12 radiant damage.
He follows up with striking the same target with the spiritual Hammer.
Attack: 26 Damage: 7 force damage. (if the bolt hit, has advantage - adv roll:19).

Using fey step, Lukian appears upon the top of the wall. (If there are any enemies within 5 feet, they take a whopping 1 point of fire damage when I appear.) Lukian straps his shield onto his arm and grins at the archers.

D.O.R.K. girds her loins and prepares to die gloriously – massively outnumbered as she is – in the service of her God when Lukian suddenly appears at her back; shield up and Dawnbringer flaring with brilliance. (OOC – the width of the battlement means that 2 of the guards can get at D.O.R.K. – they’ll have advantage and the same is true of Lukian)
With the exception of the three guards following Devin around from the southern gate the other guards attack Ebonitus as he is both the closest and also Ilezenya is managing to keep the darkness between him and the guards.
"I guess we are staying" Devin remarks as he looks up to where D is fighting and Lukian suddenly joins her up there. Turning his attention back to the pesky guards that keep lobbing crossbow bolts at him he starts lobbing bolts of fire at them.
For just a moment, a second, a mere fraction of time, D.O.R.K had thought -- believed even in the fight holding more value than what had spurred her to climb in the first place. That she was truly acting int he service of her Goddess, the Lady of Strategy. But then questions -- a contradiction popped into her mind. What grand strategy was being served in lingering? What plan had the group even started out with that suggested whole sale slaughter, if not crippling the men guarding the walls? What was even the true objective any more?
Assuming it was even possible to catch a glimpse of the retreating giant during the ensuing melee, the sight would've assured her of the vague goal concocted having been perhaps long since met. So wh--?
D.O.R.K is torn from her thoughts by a spear managing to slip past the automatic defensive measures, and scrapped across her cheek, leaving her reeling for a second. Re-actively, she finally drew her own spear, and began thrusting and feinting and stabbing at whatever opening she could find in the one guard's defenses, hoping to end the one's life quick, before moving on to the other. And though a touch distracted, a strong spiritual power possessing her arm for a second to adjust the course of her last strike covers her weakness.
With pain bringing her back to the present, her mind grew blissfully silent of all the disquieting thoughts. As if there weren't already enough there following Torunn's departure....
Ilezenya is close enough to the wall now that he drops the sphere of darkness and sights the four guards attack DORK and Lukian. He draws a drop of his own blood and speaks another prayer to the goddess, focusing the powers of twilight and the horrors that wait just beyond onto the guards. (Casting Bane at 2nd level to affect 4 targets. Each must make a DC15 Cha save or subtract a d4 from all saving throws and attacks in the next minute!) He then uses a bonus action to speak a healing word directed at Lukian, healing the eladrin a bit. (7 hp)The half-drow then steps close to the wall to be shielded a little from those above him.

Lukian is surprised at the skill of his attackers. Clearly, these guards are much more deadly in melee combat than they are with their arrows. "Gah!" he spits. He thrusts out his shield and beseeches Lathandar for cleansing flames. A wave of fire rolls from the symbol on the cleric's shield at the guards attacking him.
