Having listened to D.O.R.K.'s shouted commentary from behind the Stable door, Xolkin looks at Devin with a raised eyebrow as if to say is 'she always like this.' He then turns to Kella and they step 10 feet away from Devin and have a quick whispered conversation, you hear something like "makes sense, could make our life easier." They both come back to the group and Xolkin says "your friend does make a certain amount of sense and I believe that some of my colleagues will be able to help but it has been a long ride for us today, so perhaps a group could set off in the morning if that is your wish."
About now, Sydiri comes back with a sealed note that she passes to Xolkin. Without looking at it he ties it to a holder on Flightssss' back and whispers something in her ear before launching her in the air.
He then turns back to Devin and says "I will ask Tiny and Gentle to raise the drawbridge shortly so if you have anything outside the Village you would like brought in such as the wagon chained to the tree, which I assume is yours, I suggest you do so promptly." He finishes with "my colleagues, Kella and I, will sleep in the Broken Arrow Inn tonight" he looks hopefully at Kella at this who replies "in your dreams mister!"Xolkin turns to Devin and says "you can't blame a guy for trying!' You and your colleagues, and by the way I know there are at least five more of you, are welcome to find any room you like for the night." Sydiri says looking at the two guards, "we will all sleep in the Keep tonight" and they all turn and leave.

"Yes, there are more of us. Kella here has met us all. I am just not sure exactly where they are all at right now. We tend to get split up. But I am sure we will all meet you in the morning here in the square."
Devin will move to the house directly south of the entry gate of the village and settle in there for the night.
There's a muffled conversation from the barn, followed by the door being widen just far enough for D.O.R.K to squeeze her way out. She hadn't put away her javelin or shield at the news; but, at the latter was at least lowered business end to the ground in a show of some trust. Although, she does give Xolkin the classic 'I got my eyes on you' gesture on her way over to Tiny.
"Acolyte Vark. If you would accompany me." She says in passing. Confused, but quick to catch on, Vark gives an awkward salute and starts following her. D.O.R.K tries to get a good clip in front of Tiny, and following a brief but awkward staring contest with the approaching goliath, she starts going into a series of flexing poses. "Uhh... Boss Lady? Whaaa-what are you doing?"He asks as she shifts into another pose. "I once read that giant-kin and similar species often communicate through the show of muscles; especially when greeting one another or conveying their wishes." Vark blinks slowly. "Do... you even have those?" "...." D.O.R.K continues attempting to flex until Tiny responds.
For Imagry/Inspiration:
Beedo is going to sneak around from the back to follow and spy on Kella. (Torunn would have heard and have a chance to impede the plan discussed while in the barn)
Following a brief but awkward staring contest with the approaching goliath, D.O.R.K. starts going into a series of flexing poses.
Tiny looks at D.O.R.K. with a confused look on his face (think some of the looks that Drax the Destroyer in Guardians of the Galaxy gives to Rocket when he is talking at a million miles an hour) at D.O.R.K.'s antics. Xolkin catches sight of what she is doing and says to Devin again lifting an eyebrow "what in all the Gods in heavens name is she doing?"
Vark just shrugs up at TIny. Seeing Tiny's confused look, and yet determined to keep up the "greeting", D.O.R.K. shifts into "flexing" an arm in a half crouch as she says excitedly in a baritone voice, "Goed ontmoet, klein reus wie se naam die mees akkurate is! Noudat ek die ritueel van groet gedoen het, mag ek op jou reken om my kar met my te help trek?!"
(For those that hear and speak Giant)
Well met, little giant whose name is most accurate! Now that I have performed the ritual of greeting, might I count on you to assist pull in cart with me?

Tiny is still not sure exactly what D.O.R.K. is but when she speaks to him in Giant he replies "tha thu gu math neònach, tha mi air a bhith a 'coimhead air thoiseach oir chan eil mi a' bruidhinn ri daoine a tha mothachail! Ciamar a tha thu air ainmeachadh?"He then looks to Xolkin who gives a quick nod of approval and says"thigibh leinn leinn a 'chairt seo a thoirt a-steach, chan eil fios agad cò dh' fhaodadh a bhith a 'falbh taobh a-muigh a' bhaile air an oidhche!" He turns to the Half-orc and says "Gentle, gi' us an 'and will ya?" Gentle grumbles but walks over. Together the three of them manage to easily bring the cart inside the Village and park it, just inside the gate. Gentle and Tiny then separately go into each of the Watchtowers and you hear Tiny say "aon, dà thrì..."Gentle obviously speaks enough Giant to understand what sounds like a count because upon the completion of Tiny's command he starts to wind his drum. The drawbridge comes up smoothly as if Tiny and Gentle are quite practiced at this sort of work; it take three rounds for the drawbridge to be fully drawn up and the drums locked in place.
For those who speak Giant
I use Scottish Gaelic for Giants. My Great Great Grandfather was a Scottish Highlander from near Kingussie in the Spey Valley. The first sentence translates as "you really are most strange, I have seen constructs before but never talking sentient ones, how are you named?" The second sentence translates as "come let us bring this cart inside, you never know who may prowl outside the village at night!" The final sentence is simply "one, two, three..."
Over night
Devin has opted to stay in House 4A (directly south of the Entry Gate). The strangers plus Kella, Blik & Flik will stay in the Inn, Temple and House 4C. Where does the rest of the party want to spend the night?
Does anybody want to RP the night or can I proceed to the next day?
Meiva will try to find a place under the stars (though inside the fort) to trance, but one out of the way. I'll do my RP in the morning for her level-up, barring anything level-up related happening to her outside of that.
I see! I was using Afrikaans, if not already obvious. Can switch over with that in mind, but think of her earlier words as a dialect either once used by Cloud Giants(Jotunskye), or something along those lines.
D.O.R.K. hops out of her last pose to thumb her chin. She then offer her hand and says in another dialect, "Rod(Red)!" With that out of the way, and the cart eventually pulled inside, she sends Vark off to guard Torunn. She notifies the others her intention of patrolling the village for at least the next hour before posting herself just outside the barn for the remaining evening, mending Hearbreaker and resting.
Unless someone else has something for D.O.R.K, I'm good to proceed to the next day.

After the cart is brought to the stable safely, he will go through his belongings and grab a few things before heading to his chosen building. For anyone that has followed him to his building, they will notice that he says a quick prayer to Gond before spending 3 uninterrupted hours working on his block of wood, as it more evidently gets a more familiar shape to it.
After he has done with the stock, he will pull out some clothe, slowly wrap it up and put it in his bag. He will then settle down for some rest.
At around 4am in the morning, if anyone is awake and paying attention to the trading Post , they will notice some sounds like someone searching and stockpiling items. Shortly after this, there will be a warm glow, similar to that of a forge emanating from the building for the next hour or so.
As Vark had Brother watch duty he at least was there for most of it, watching on curiosity and fascination... Then boredom seeps in, prompting him to wander off at least a short ways to keep watch/try to imitate some of D.O.R.K's weapon throwing antics. And when sleep finally seems to claims the dwarf, Vark all to eagerly takes advantage of the moment to go off looking for Beedo.
Boredom finds Beedo during his super secret mission all too easily after the first hour. So during the second, he starts fiddling with the dwarven helm he'd been wearing, wandering for the first time if it did anything magical. Because dwarf were big into those sort of things... right? He even goes so far as pretending to cast magic at things while wiggling his fingers at a nearby tree.
(@Not sure if you're using the DMG ruling or not for 'identifying magic items' outside just the spell.. and that's assuming it /is/ magical. But, Beedo is gonna spend a 'short rest' worth of time trying all the same.)
Vark finds the missing goblin just in time to see Beedo knock himself charging into a tree head first shouting "Dynamic Headbutt!" in one last ditch attempt to try and activate it. With little more than an amused smile and a few headshakes, Vark drags him off by the foot to where Torunn's "house", intending to rest at least nearby, if not inside to watch out for him. He passes out before his watch really even starts.
At 4 AM...
Even while at rest, D.O.R.K is ever alert. Though the Inn had been her primary focus, the noise elsewhere proved too much /not/ to ignore. But, she stayed still and watchful until the familiar glow prompts her to investigate with only shield in hand, and Heart Breaker latched at her side. The clank of metal on stone long announces her arrival; and if not locked, she goes inside, finds a corner, and quietly watches her brother at work. As was often her want to do when duty or lack of opportunity did not prevent her.

It is about 5.20 am when Devin and Meiva reach the Village Square just as Xolkin accompanied by Tiny come out of the Inn, Xolkin is holding his head and says “I don’t know who the Inn keeper is but I must complement him on the quality of his whisky.” He looks around Devin and Meiva and says “where are your colleagues?” He then turns back to the Inn and yells out “alright everybody rise and shine, looks like we have a bunch of Orcs that have come for a visit.” Within five minutes all the other members of Xolkin’s party are assembled in the square. Gentle yells out from his position on the top of the northern Watch Tower “it looks like they splitting into two groups.”
OOC: I assume that D.O.R.K., Toruun, Beedo (wearing his now dinted Dwarven helm) and Vark come out of the Livery Stable.
OOC: I need players with the exception of D.O.R.K. to take over the running of two NPCs each, which includes Xolkin and Kella. Gwerk will also need to be looked after if you want. I don’t expect a lot of RPing from the NPCs unless you want to it will mainly be dice rolling and positioning. Let me know if anybody has any preferences or I can assign them randomly.
Once the NPCs have been shared out, people need to tell me where everybody is and we can get on with it.
Having left a little early from the trading post, D.O.R.K will come out from the house at 4D with a bleary-eyed Vark just behind her, and Beedo still dozing and flopped over her shoulder. "Unfortunate. I know. But a necessary evil. You both will get used to it..." She trails off there seeing the others gathered. Before she can remark on her admiration for Xolkin's crew assembling, she jerks in the direction of Gentle.
"Query: What is there number? Additional Query: Are the flying colors?" She calls up to him. Vark by then has snapped to a semblance of alert, and taken to dragging Beedo off the Dork's shoulder to start slapping and shaking him awake.
