Ilezenya shows the contents of the chests to the rest of the group, saying, "I can only imagine what magical properties these items have, but am unable to determine that without rest and time to study them. I say we bring as much as we can. Let's see if these keys will fit any other locks! Especially the chains holding any remaining prisoners." He will set off with whoever else wants to explore the rest of the village to set captives free and offer them the weapons found in the chest.
D.O.R.K too is at a loss for words at the news, for surely there were yet some across the bridge? But in playing back the elf's words about Yakfolk taking over dwarves and leaving, the construct couldn't help but nod. "It all makes since now. The number of defenders were too few for a village of this size. Even if-...." But she never finishes her words before being drawn in by Ilezenya's announcement.
Torn between wanting more rest, and in hearing news about Beedo's survival, Vark lets out a tired groan but opts to join Ilezenya in exploring the village in search of prisoners. If for no other reason than to calm his more loquacious partner in crime. Though just before doing so, if there happened to be a spare rapier(if available, otherwise grabbing a battleaxe) in one of the chest, he snatches it up for himself and returns D.O.R.K's original axe to her before taking his leave with others.
"In any event, it seems we may have more time than expected. But that is no reason to lower our guard. For those of you intended to see to the other prisoners, take whatever precaution you feel is necessary. I will remain here and begin tending to the dead alongside who are of mind to assist." She says to the group at large. "Though before that-..." D.O.R.K makes her way closer to the elven pair and says, "Apologies in advance for the lack of decorum at this time, but I have more question. Such as can either of you describe the dwarves? Or know if at any point they made mention of their clans or home before being taking over by Yakfolk?"

"Perhaps then we can rest, tend our wounds and recharge our powers. If we are relatively safe here, that is..." Ilezenya will lead the rest to rapidly explore the rest of the village, on guard for any hostile creatures.
DORK, Vark, Illezenya and Toruun set off to free the remaining slaves. When they reach the cage at the back of the hut to the northeast of the Chief’s Hall - the only one they had not visited before entering the Chief’s Hall - they here a distinct voice speaking Common with a strong goblin accent “over ‘ere boss”. It doesn’t take the party long to unlock the cage and free the remaining slaves. Beedo pushes himself to the front and emerges first. No fawning gratitude from this one, all DORK catches are the muttered words “bout bloody time”. When Beedo catches sight of Vark standing next to DORK he says something in goblin to which Vark merely puffs out his chest and points to his chest with his thumb before holding up his index finger in Beedo’s face. It is difficult to see if he is giving Beedo the finger or indicating the number one, numero uno, etc.
Having worked with Beedo and Vark for sometime now, DORK understands a smattering of goblin and manages to pick out words like ‘brownnose’, broken teeth’ ‘improvement’.
Ilezenya will want to ensure there are no more yakfolk in the area and investigate the other huts. He also wants to find the door into the mountain and see if it is barred or locked (and if the keys he took from the chief fit said lock!) If all is clear and the group determines it is safe to rest for a while, he will perform a ritual to construct Leomund's Tiny Hut for up to eight other medium or smaller creatures. If the other prisoners want to stick around they can take turns in the warm and comfortable shelter - but no more than eight others can be inside at once!
Devin listens in to the conversations that go on around him. "If you leave these things that we feel have some sort of power within them I can reveal it. Though it will take a short amount of time to conduct the ritual it is easy enough to do."
If the others leave the items while they search the rest of the village he will take the items aside and conduct the ritual casting of identify to understand what each item can do.
It takes Illezenya about an hour to scout the village and ascertain that there are no more Yakfolk. In his scouting he discovers behind the hut from which they freed Beedo two large - 20 ft tall iron doors - cut into the mountain. Obviously built for giants the handles are over 9 feet off the ground. Illezenya also discovers that with the exception of the path they climbed there is no way either further up or down from the mountain.
By the time that Illezenya returns to the party, Devin has identified the only magical object as a Necklace of Adaptation.
As much as there might've been wisdom in chastising Beedo for the commentary, D.O.R.K instead took a knee, placed a hand on his shoulder, and thanked the goblin for doing what he could to protect Torunn up to his imprisonment. "But there's yet more work to be done," She adds as well. "-and admittedly, little guaranteed treasure yet to speak of. But, until we're at least able to escape this place, I hope you are ready to fight alongside us once more." On that note, she looks to Vark and nods, signalling for the goblin to take off his pack and dispense with returning Beedo his old gear.
With Illezenya opting to scout things out further, and with Devin needing time to identify things anyhow, D.O.R.K enlisted the aid of her goblins in moving the dead to one of the fair sized and unoccupied Yakfolk hobbles nearby until the group was ready to move out.

When Ilezenya returns from his investigation, he reports all that he found, including the iron doors into the mountain. "I know we are trying to beat the giant from below to an artifact inside the mountain, but we must rest before proceeding onwards. A long rest would be best after fights with these yakfolk and those griffons earlier. What do you think? Should I erect the impervious dome?"
(Basically asking the group do we take a short rest for HP, or a long rest to reset before heading into the mountain?)
At DORKs question about the dwarves the elvish princess looks a bit surprised that a construct can talk. Jevin whispers to her and she says something in elvish. Jevin then says that the dwarves were wearing the sigils of Citadel Adar.
After taking a few moments to process Jevin's answer, D.O.R.K bows her head in thanks, before stepping away to let the pair continue convalesce in a measure of peace. In the meantime, she'd continue with tending to the dead until Ilezenya's return. "Griffons? I do not believe those creatures we attacked were such. Nor do I recall necessarily needing to beat a giant to an artifact, so much as we are to retrieve one from them." She holds her head. "Though, it could be faulty circuits at work, as that was a rather brutal engagement. Hmn. Regardless, so long as there were no scheduled meetings or daily tithes expected from the giants below, I believe we at least should have the day to recover and prepare."She expresses.
"So, I second the use of the dome, but depending on intended placement, I will give up my spot for princess and her servant if doable. As their protection should take priority in the event that we are forced to retreat earlier from here, and seek out potential allies to try again with."

"I must rest for an hour or so and commune with the Earth Mother before I will be able to prepare properly for whatever comes next. This night has been somewhat brutal and I am mentally weary." says Ebonitus. He surveys the remains of the battle and sighs heavily. He then asks the elves "Were there more in your party and what are you intending/needing to do from here?"

Beedo's eyes the necklace with a glint of curiosity and avarice in his eyes that only dims as the realization hits him that Devin's words were moreso -- at least in the goblin's eyes -- for the man's fellows clerics. But instead of begrudging the man, he and Vark found other distractions in the tent to occupy them while D.O.R.K appeared to give the necklace a once over from afar. "As I and Torunn are already fairly resilient to what it can offer, it will be more suited for you or Ebonitus."She said, giving her two cents for the moment.
"Regarding resting, a short one will be sufficient compromise I believe. It would best to still have eyes on the door and the gate we climbed over if at all possible during this time. Perhaps utilizing the doom still in this fashion. Afterwards, provided there are no other visitors, we can then afterwards at least reassess the situation with clearer minds after the hour. If this acceptable, I can keep you company in the dome if you wish, Dusk Warden."

Ilezenya looks for the best tactical location to ritually construct his dome of force. For example, if the doors into the mountain open out towards the village, he will place the dome to prevent the doors from opening. Or, likewise, if he can block inward opening doors in a yakfolk hut, he will do it there. This will provide a measure of protection for others not in the dome itself.
