"Sorry, who are you? Why are you by our fire?" Toruun asks the stranger
The stranger looks up at Toruun and says "greetings my name is Igan of" he obviously thinks for a minute "Orlumbor. As to why I am by your fire, well as you can see it is a wicked night and this, small and pitiful though it is, is better than nothing! Wouldn't you agree?"
If D.O.R.K heard the comment as she left, or took note of the glance in her and her acolytes direction, there is no reaction out of the construct. With the exception of D.O.R.K and her acolytes, everyone receives 10gp and 36EP in various styles of coin from her. As the economic side of war surprisingly never appealed to her much, there is no particular sorting done outside of determining the coins baseline worth for distribution. For her cut, she keeps only 2 golden lions(gp) for herself, and hands the rest off to Beedo and Vark. That would've been the end of it. But in seeing Vark look back and forth between her and the coin in confusion, she simply slates the remaining 8 gp and 36 EP (4 & 18 between the 2) as both back pay, as well as a reward for their hard work that day.
During her Sentry's Rest, D.O.R.K can be found on the opposite side of Golemgote and away from flame and others.

Meiva nods, satisfied by the exactness of the split of cash between the group. She steps a bit away from the others to open her pack with the coins. As she does so,
During her watch-shift, Meiva mainly prays to Silvanus in between scanning the darkness. At one point during her watch, she remembers something, and draws her dagger, trying to catch her face in the reflection of the weapon's blade. After a few minutes, she nods, frowning only slightly.
Torunn looks at the stranger, then shrugs and sits down by the fire, gets out his tools. Saying a quick prayer to Gond, he starts his work once again and is quiet for a few moments before speaking up but not taking his eyes off his work. "Orlumbor you say? You are quite far from home. What brings you out this way?"
"You are quite far from home."Toruun says to the Stranger. The Stranger looks up at Toruun and says "no, not really. It is only about 200 miles as the crow flies which is really only two and a bit days." Toruun then follows up this answer with another question "What brings you out this way?"The stranger ruminates on this for a while and answers "I am looking for a lost relative!"
The stranger replies with a shrug of the shoulders that doesn't look quite right to either of you, almost as if he is unfamiliar with the action, and says "I don't know? Ask lots of questions I suppose! My parents always accuse me of going off half-cocked and without a plan. And upon reflection I may have done it again!" He then looks at both Jaylen and Toruun and says "what brings you to this forlorn place?"
"We're part of a circus," Jaylen says without skipping a beat. She makes a motion toward Golem and Trayan. "Most of our troupe is ahead of us, but we stayed behind because our goblins got in trouble with the local authorities at our last stop, and we had to convince them to let us take them with us. We should catch up tomorrow. The rain slowed us down today. You know, it's dangerous to approach a fire without making yourself known to those living by its warmth. We could have attacked you, interpreting your appearance as aggression."
"A circus eh. And what act do you perform my lady?" the Stranger says to Jaylen and he stands up and a bow. Like the shoulder shrug, both of you get the impression that this is not an action he is familiar with. He then goes onto say "I believe I have introduced myself but neither of you have done me the courtesy of introducing yourselves. And for what it is worth, I'm not sure I was really in any danger, you know!"
Catching onto what Jaylen is saying, Torunn finally pauses from his work and looks up. "The names Torunn, I am the groups handyman. If something needs fixing, that's where I step in."
The Stranger looks around at the campsite and says "Well met Torrun, a most useful role indeed. I count five more bodies - what roles do they play in the circus?"
Torunn seems a little startled by the man, but maintains his composure. "Sorry, who are you? Why are you by our fire?"
The stranger looks up at Toruun and says "greetings my name is Igan of" he obviously thinks for a minute "Orlumbor. As to why I am by your fire, well as you can see it is a wicked night and this, small and pitiful though it is, is better than nothing! Wouldn't you agree?"

"Knife ears. Humph," she mutters.
And that's all I have to say about that.
Torunn looks at the stranger, then shrugs and sits down by the fire, gets out his tools. Jaylen lets the dwarf do the talking for now as she sits directly across the fire from the stranger and watches him closely.

"A daunting, yet noble cause," Jaylen says, finally speaking. "What is your destination?"
"What is your destination?" Jaylen asks of the Stranger to which he replies "I do not know yet as I have not long begun searching for them."

Without looking up, Torunn asks "How do you plan to find them then?"

"Jaylen Kholl. I'm a musician," Jaylen responds benignly.
The Stranger turns to Toruun and says "and you good dwarf what role do you play in the circus."

Torunn grows slightly suspicious but doesn't let it show, "You seen to have quite an interest in our group. Why is that?"
To which he replies "oh no reason really, I am just interested in what humans and others do!"

Torunn raises an eyebrow at that, "You aren't human then?"
