From atop Golemgote, D.O.R.K raises her free hand high in the air. After a false start involving sparks the magic again coalesces as a red javelin like bolt of energy. In her silent thanks, the crystal's lining her form begin to glow red once more: a proof of approval and reconnection, if nothing else. "Fly true." She sends it soaring at the green creature, calling if need be at the last moment her Mother's title to "guide" the attack further.
After all is said and done, if the troll remains alive she calls out in giant, "Aon chothrom, tha thu sin a ’lasadh ann an sgàil. Thoir aon adhbhar math carson a bu chòir do bheatha a shàbhaladh. Aon nach eil dìreach mar dìreach."
End of Round 3 - The Troll is still standing 1) Both Toruun and Devin's attacks hit however for a reason that Jaylen cannot determine her Hold Person spell has no effect on the Troll. 2) D.O.R.K.'s photon blast slams into Catchemeatem's chest and for the first time you see some real damage as a a few ribs are exposed. [OOC: I am trialling a new approach to hitpoint damage for large creatures which will run as follows: If the creature is within 80 per cent of its HP maximum I will describe the damage as being superficial, bruises, shallow slashes, etc. Once the creature is reduced to 20 per cent or less of its HP maximum the damage will be described as more drastic and potentially life threatening. I'd appreciate feedback on whether this works for you] 3) Startled by the blast of light from on his head, Golemogote trumpets, squeals (I set the Animal Handling check at DC 15 (Medium) give his lack of training), rears and sets off (1-Northerly, 2-Easterly, 3-Southerly, 4-Westerly direction [3] crashing though the low shrubbery as if it did not exist. 4)D.O.R.K. make a Dex save (DC10 - easy) to stay on his back. 5) Beedo you're up!
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Beedo jumps up cheering, missing the "Oh dear!"in the background followed by a heavy crash in the muck and destruction of much shubbery. "Don't let up! We got'em on the edge!"He shouts as he dives in to cut into its heel where part of the red light seemed to be glowing the brightest on the troll.
Beedo's Action: Scimitar Attack: 19 Damage: 9.
Bonus Action:Helpful feature, granting advantage against the next attack roll aimed at the tall humanoid.
Pre-Post:
Vark, who was far less distracted actually started to turn to look, only to jerk back to attention at another triumphant hoot from Beedo. "You aight bosslady?!"He shouts while working his way into attack another opening in the troll's defenses.
Falling from an elephant hurts! 1) D.O.R.K. tries to frantically hang on as Golemogote goes crashing through the bush, however he fails to see a low hanging branch and is swept off the elephants back about 25 feet from where the frantic charge had started and takes 3 damage. 2) Beedo's slash slices deeply into one of Catchemeatem's achilles tendons weakening it considerably 3) Meiva and Toruun are up simultaneously. The first one to post gets advantage from the fact that Catchemeatem is not as mobile as previously due to the damage inflicted by Beedo.
End of Battle 1) As Toruun's Spiritual Hammer crashes into the side of Catchemeatem's head it cracks his scull and bits of brain can be seen leaking out. The troll crashes to the ground and doesn't move. 2)Everybody gets 360 XP each. 3) Sleeping for the rest of the night and starting a bit later next morning will count as a long rest.

Both Vark and Beedo let out one last battle cry of triumphant. Vark is the quickest to remember D.O.R.K's situation, and so rushes over to her last position. Together the two work on finding Golemgote, and getting him back to camp(Survival: 9(if needed). Although not without her calling out a reminder to Beedo to commence "Throat Cutting Protocol Beta."A request the goblin starts gleefully rubbing his hands together to get through, though not without first rolling the troll for any strange belt pouches or the like.
Any such things he sets aside to look over later while he squints at the troll's face."Hmm... Yeah, I'm taking those too."He sets to work harvesting teeth, figuring out to smash the skull in further, then burn the body if possible... assuming no one stops or interferes.
About 200 feet away from where you fought the Troll down the southerly path, Jaylen finds Trayan quietly grazing in a clearing and standing nearby as if on guard Golemogote is ripping branches off a bush and shoving them in his mouth.
Meiva drops her spectral bow, the weapon vanishing before it hits the ground. She prays a quiet prayer of thanks to Silvanus before looking around at the group.
"I may now heal any who require it,"she remarks.
"We have brought the ultimate malady upon our enemy and now Silvanus will not look askance at our curing our own wounds."
The Journey's End! - Day 2, Second Ten-Day, Month of Eleasis 1) After a little while, Jaylen and Vark come back leading Trayan and Golemogote meanwhile Beedo starts on the job of harvesting Catcheatem's teeth, He jumps back suddenly as the Troll's jaw snaps shut almost severing one of his fingers. 2) The rest of the party prepares to settle down again for the night which passes uneventfully (OOC: please feel free to RP out your gains in level). 3) By late morning - 10.00 am the party is ready to begin its journey again to Secomber and as with the previous days they trudge through intermittent rain. 4) Late in the afternoon they come to a junction of two rivers and nestled in the fork of the rivers, perched on three small hills rising out of the floodplain they can see a palisaded village which could probably better be described as a smallish town. There is a bridge crossing the faster flowing river that is directly in front of them, 5) The party is approaching from the west and has caught occasional glimpses of the larger river as they have trudged alongside the edge of the Forlorn Hills for the past couple of days. The stream in the clearing where they fought Catchemeatem would obviously have flowed down into the larger river.
In a panic, Beedo speeds up the process of smashing Catheatem's skull in before setting to work on setting the troll ablaze. Only once he's got a decent blaze going does he relaxes enough to let out one last cry of triumphant... and fall backwards asleep almost immediately. When Vark comes back and sees him, the goblin facepalms, and then goes over to drag Beedo back to their sleeping spot. Try to, at first. Feeling the pain flare up in his chest, the wary goblin makes his way over to Meiva to ask for a "Spot of 'at elven magics." before going to bed.
As for D.O.R.K, she dared not leave from atop Golemgote since finding him again. Which is why while awkwardly hugging the top of his head she says, "Assessment: Well done, everyone. You have passed your first proper combat drill. Continue your restoration cycle without further delay."Having no need for sleep, but one for rest all the same, D.O.R.K spends what active time is available carefully watching the two mounts of the party with unflinching interest.
Later that day...
D.O.R.K slows Golemgote's pace as the group grow closer to the bridge of what presumably was their destination. "No fires sighted. No notable auditory concerns. This place seems safe, but we may wish to extras caution. Servant of Mystara Devin. Servant of Silvanus Meiva. Que-.... I trust you will be taking the lead on things while we are here? Or are you still too weary from travel?",she says, distracted somewhat by trying to gauge the strength of the bridge.

After returning to camp with Trayan, Vark and Golem, Jaylen is even more quiet and actively separate from the rest of the group. If spoken to, she is not rude, but she is clearly distracted, concerned, and worried. She spends a long time praying before going to sleep. Those who are observant may even notice tears on her cheeks.
DM:
She dreams again of the silver bird. Though it does not speak to her in this dream, it fills her with security and comfort. It conveys to her that she has a long road ahead of her, and that she mustn't doubt, but must learn. A flash of Dork fills her with surprise before turning into resolution. Finally, through a strange sequence, the silver bird shows Jaylen that Tymora is once again blessing her with luck. It's like time goes, then reverses, then goes again, with slight alterations the second time. As the dream begins to fade, finally, a voice says, "Make your own luck."
The next morning, Jaylen steals looks at Dork at various time. She seems to be in better — yet still reserved — spirits. As Golem comes to a halt, Jaylen pulls Trayan up beside, her eyes taking in the scene.
Torunn doesn't take his eyes of the troll as he takes another shot at the creature.
Crossbow: Attack: 24 Damage: 5
He then holds his holy symbol in his fist, swinging his arm. The spiritual hammer crashes into the creature.
SW Attack: 20 Damage: 6

How is the creature looking up to this point?
Jaylen frowns at the creature's constitution and prays it is less wise. She clasps her amulet and says, "Hold!"

Jaylen furrows her brow, opens her palm, and looks at her amulet with confusion.
Meiva smiles slightly as she takes aim once more.
"Why listen to my command now if you wouldn't before?" she mutters, firing another radiant arrow at the troll.

Meiva readily casts a spell of healing on Vark, then makes her way back to her place in the camp to keep watch.
The next day:
Meiva glances at Devin, then looks back at D.O.R.K, nodding.
"I am not overly tired," she replies carefully, fiddling with her shield. She is frowning, but no more than usual
And that's all I have to say about that.
