Namura let loose another arrow (9 damage) before running another 35 feet toward the traitor. Whether Azsixi fell or tried to run, she would be ready with a spell on her lips.
As they pick the broken gear to repair it, Flux notices Buama's look - she was likely thinking she could fix it faster, which was probably true. But Flux knew that they could fix it better, given their expertise with aether. They know the vital spots of aether tubes in thopters to protect, and given their experience with manual aether refinement, they could probably increase the speed of the converter.
As soon as they cast their eyes over the lake to detect aether, Flux spots the body and they dive in right next to it, grab it and drags it straight to the surface, identifying it as Ahtwon. Flux quickly checks the pulse, finding none. They then take the body to the shore line, pushing the body over the water, and carrying it to the ship. They then go to their pile and start repairing everything they had said they would. They then call Buama over to help with the servo they had shown her earlier. [Attunes to the thopter, repairs it (with better protection on its tubes its HP is 6 rather than 5), put on the servo ring, repairs the aether converter, and then casts Find Familiar]
Buama comes to the surface with Asonea and with help of the remaining crew gets her on the ship. She then climbs up herself. She pulls off the ASD and looking at some readings starts calculating what she might get. "Definitely not as good as in a stream in the air, but not bad for an experiment while doing something else." She sighs not really wanting to think about the dead crew member she just brought back. She sets the pack down and notices Flux is back on deck working on fixing things.
She turns and disappears into the ship. She knew what she could do to stay occupied. With tools in hand from her supplies she heads to the engine room to put some effort into fixing what the gremlins had caused. Thankfully the gremlin bodies had been removed and some cleaning done while she had been doing her recon in the water. She steps fully inside asking,
"So what would you like me to fix, Elto?" She grins as she pulls out a wrench like tool and twirls it between her fingers.

Azi makes note of the tigers and then yells out to the rest of the crew "Hey!!! There is a body floating over there, can anyone go check to see who it is? I've got my hands full up here."
If no one responds, he'll jump down to go get the body himself. He'll check for a pulse and then drag the dwarven body to shore. "Poor soul never stood a chance..." He will say a quick last rights for the dwarf in his elven tongue.
Later he'll ask Flux, "Which of these tools you found would be useful to someone like me? Sorry but I never had any training on such things so I'm not exactly sure what I'm looking at here."
As the searching party rushes to the battle, the two ashen cats bodies blaze with fire as the they the funnel and towards Azsixin. While she is able to dodge the first blast, the second blast hits her with full force, horribly burning her skin and clothes. She retaliates and sinks her dagger into the neck of one of the cats. As you draw closer, you note just how bad of shape she is in. Blood oozes from several bite marks, and it's hard to differentiate between gashes and burned skin. The searching party uses whatever ranged means they have of felling one of the cats, hoping to save her so they might interrogate her themselves. Kraithee blasts a ray of cold energy towards the closest cat, snuffing out its life. Cracks and schisms form across the feline's surface, as the crimson aether seeks to escape. As the creature goes lifeless, tiny pieces of its dermis dissipate into wisps of black smoke, slowly disintegrating as they float upwards. The crimson aether itself turns the soft, yet bright, blue color of true, raw aether, as both the body and aether ascend into the sky to rejoin the Aether Cycle. You hear a loud crunch, and turn in horror to see the fire cat's maw around Azsixin's neck, as her body goes lifeless due to the crushing force. The cat's eyes glitter with brilliant sparks of red aether as it zeros down on its nearest target, Duncan.
Returning the three bodies, those who stayed at the ship are quick to note that they are all dead. "They are dead." Searching through the bodies, you find Dahlun's "lucky" stone, a brilliant gem stored in an intricate golden shell, and a wand. As Buama goes out to search for Elto, he sees her and starts bouncing, shifting his weight from foot to foot. Hearing her request, he clasps her on the back, and you hear several more bones pop. "Of course, dear friend, Buama! I am not very proficient with woodworking. However, it would seem that your Mending spell has worked wonders on some small portions of the A.S.D. would you be able to go around and mending whatever cracks you see along the ship? The captain would be very appreciative, and she rewards those who do good to her! Except for me, it would seem... It will be time consuming, but the reward will be tremendous!"
Another arrow cut through the air, embedding in the hellion's shoulder. (14 points of damage.) She continued her run, now only 35 feet away from Azsixi.
At the sight of the ashen cat's jaws around Azsixin's throat, Lero lunges forward jumping nearly the length of the twenty feet propelled by the momentum of his sprint and stabs the cat directly in the face (19 damage). As it rears back to strike, Lero tumbles backwards and lands next to Duncan hurling his dagger at the beast in the process (miss). Once standing, he's got another dagger in his hand and braces for the inevitable charge.
Duncan's eyes glowed with a furious white light he reached out with his psonic abilities in order to hold the beast, but the cat like creature was to strong and broke through Duncan's assault!
Looking at the creature Duncan takes a moment to realize how powerful the beast actually is, "Angel's Above!!! That thing is strong!" Readying his sword, he prepares for the beast to attack.
As they return to the group after doing repairs, Flux notices that the others have found a wand, stone, and gem. They Identify the items as a Wand of Magic Detection, a Luckstone, and a Gem of Brightness. They have a servo on their shoulder and another is riding the thopter.
"That aether converter is top notch - It is already running at optimal efficiency. I was able to make the thopter I claimed more resilient though. One of the elves might want the stone - it has no refined aether in it."
Kraithee observes as the party approaches the remaining beast, sensing that they are about to accomplish their mission of "rescuing" Azsixin for future interrogation, it goes mad when the Feral Cat crunches her wind pipe, losing its control Kraithee moves to close the distance to the creature, raises its left hand: Your companion fell to my Cold, now it is your time! (cast Ray of Frost 1d20+5 = 17 to hit / 1d8 = 1 cold Damage).
Seeing that its cold did not affect this creature as it did its companion, Kraithee recurring to it's Aether connection extends its right hand: You shouldn't have killed Azsixin, if cold is not enough to take you down, pure Aether must! (Quicken spell 2 sorcery points: Cast Magic Missile 3d4+3 = 10 Force Damage, all rays at the same target).
Buama rolls her shoulders after the clap on the back making sure nothing popped out of place.
"Ah, if you want me to fix anything made of wood then I better use the carpentry tools." The wrench disappears back in its place and she pulls out a hammer and grins. "Though I might try with a few other things so I can first make sure that engine stays in place when turned on." She points the hammer towards one of the loosened anchors.
She quickly sets about checking the damage. One of the first things she does is loosen the anchoring plate and it's bolts fully from the board and then rips the board out to spin it around. She starts making new holes for the anchor to rest in. Sure there would be some holes visible on the other end of the board, but nothing to cause an issue until the ship got back to a port where repairs could occur. It takes her awhile, but soon the engine and the ASD are securely anchored for safe use.
After this she starts exploring the ship determining the next thing she needs to work on so that it can at least take off and fly.

Azi watches at Flux works his magic to identify the magical items. After finishing Azi will ask "Would you mind if I kept Dahlun's lucky stone? I would like it as a memento to remember his life and the sacrifice he made, and I feel as though I may to borrow some of it's luck here in the near future. The rest of this tech isn't really anything that interests me unless you feel it dire that I carry some of it." Turning to the captain, "There is a small pack of Peema tigers off on the opposite shore to the north west. I would recommend avoiding that direction if you send anyone else out. Those tigers are crafty, so I would rather not give them the opportunity to catch anyone in one of their traps."
After helping get the bodies together to be taken care of Azi will head back to his high post and check in on the tigers, and make sure no new threats have come up.
Kraithee's blast of aether seemed to propel himself forward too by 10 ft. (now everyone is on the map!). At the brink of death, the fire cat's skin glows like embers being blown on, as a cone of spray erupts from its mouth, cascading towards its two closest victims, Duncan and Lero. As the fire dissipates, the search party sees the fire cat has lept up the cliff to its left and is retreating, leaves the quickly dissipating corpse of the fallen fire cat and Azsixin's corpse on the ground. The cliff face is 10 feet tall, and his position provides total concealment to anyone at ground level.
Azi, returning to his perch on the highest point of the ship, looks out again. The tiger's have disappeared, as if their curiosity ended or something scared them away. Off in the distance, he sees the sun shimmering off the metallic husk of a thopter flying straight towards the crashed ship, about 300 feet away.
Seeing the cat prepare a flame attack, Lero dodges to the side. The flames lick his legs and he can feel the blisters forming as his skin is seared. In response, Lero sprints up the hill of the fire cat's new location, bounding from boulder to boulder until he's next to it. He thrusts with his rapier diving low in an attempt to surprise the cat, but its survival instincts are in full motion and it easily avoids the blow. Spinning around, Lero slices at the cat's throat with his dagger but the cat's position had already moved and the dagger misses wide.
Kraithee can't belive the audacity of the Feral Cat to flee after killing Azsixin before they could interrogate her! Seeing that the creature breathed fire onto Lero and Ducan and moved up the cliff next to them, Kraithee didn't think twice, seeing that there was a tree next to the cliff that could offer some leverage, Kraithee ran at it and with great ability jumped off (Acrobatics 1d20+3 = 12) if seeing its target clearly: It is time you feel the Cold your brethren felt!
Intending to start fashioning a proper home for Dahlun's stone, Azi looks up to notice this small flying contraption heading his way. With a slight turn of his head, so it's slightly ajar, he tries to figure out what it is. Not thinking much of it, he'll wait until it gets closer and then he'll jump off his perch to attempt to grab it. Regardless of if he catches it, he seems to land on his feet without so much as a bother.
The ranger was mad now. If they had listened to her original idea, Azsixi would be dead, and they would know where they were. Namura let out a growl, and leapt into a nearby tree. She used her left arm to vault herself upwards, her feet still in the air when she drew her next arrow. The elf held her breath as she released her next arrow, aiming straight for the aetherborn-monster's eye. The arrow struck true, and the fiery feline fell.
Namura jumped down from the branch to the forest floor and ran over to Azsixi, double checking for a pulse. "Jukkete," she spat. "This entire trip was a waste of time."
The arrow slams into the fire cat's eye just as it's about to take a swipe at Lero. As it begins to dissolve into aether, Lero turns to Namura, "You're an impressive shot with that bow." He sheathes his rapier and dagger and goes to retrieve his crossbow and dagger from the field. "I take it there's no saving her," as Lero says this he begins to do a thorough search of her body. (Search 17) He takes the ring from her finger and tosses it to Namura, "Not a complete waste of time."
"You're an impressive shot with that bow," Lero said as he joined her by the body. Namura's nose wrinkled at the compliment, not used to the idea of friendliness between the two. "I take it there's no saving her. Not a complete waste of time." The pirate began the age-old process of looting the body, tossing her a ring.
"Thank you?" the words seemed foreign on her lips. Namura cleared her throat, immediately stepping back into her role as "leader." She didn't want any of the current party to think she was soft or weak. "We have to get back soon, we've wasted too much time already. Who knows if those we left on the ship are safe."
Searching the body, you find that she has a handful of gold pieces (24), a dagger that uses aether in some degree, and a tiny thopter that fits into a wrist apparatus on her left wrist. Any papers would've been burned by the fire cat's breath.
The thopter draws closer, but pauses about 50 feet from the edge of the water, a loud voice emanates from it, in Elvish. "Pirates, we want no trouble from you. Leave now and we will not send our lifecraft to deal with you swiftly. The forest is out ally, and we will persevere against the might of the Consulate and their hired thugs."
Namura let loose another arrow (9 damage) before running another 35 feet toward the traitor. Whether Azsixi fell or tried to run, she would be ready with a spell on her lips.
