Dhara says to Jaylen "We can probably blend in with the crowd pretty well and get out of here - we don't know where that tunnel goes. We should stick together though."
Halhace will continue to move with the crowd until he sees a different path thartcould help him get away. As he moves he will keep a grip on his staff, using it like it was a walking stick.
(There is only one way that you know they would be going, but you only saw the door closed when you were brought to your current location; the room with the fighting cage. You can see it on the map in the campaign tab, the only door/corridor that isn’t marked)
Since most of you want to follow the crowd I’ll assume so will Meep.
You walk through the room where you were made to wait after your first fight and then into the next room instead of going forward (where you had previously been, the courtyard where you all met) the crowd turns through a door you have only seen closed previously. The door is now wide open and people are making their way through it. As you pass through the doors you are met with stairs going up and a slight wind blows past you. Soon the light of outdoors nearly blinds you; it is now some time past mid day, the sun still high in the sky. You might have thought it was hot before, but the present heat is nearly unbearable in your armour.
Before you, is a big open space with a hole in the middle through which you can see the bloodied sand of the arena far below. High walls surround you in all directions but one – in that direction the walls seem to gradually lower but you can’t see past two houses that line the only road leading away. You can also hear a chatter of a lively city and smell a mix of freshly baked goods with that of salt. The crowd is now thinning; some are standing around while others make their way down a wide paved path.
Dhara heads for the nearest house in the direction where the walls descend, in an attempt to get out of sight as fast as possible. In an attempt to keep up the chaos she casts Thaumaturgy again, creating the sound of ominous whispers all around everyone in range.
Halahce will continue to stay with the crowd, doing his best to continue to blend in with them. Until it seems like he will be safe to move away he will stay with them.
Silly human trying to tell Meep what to do goes ignored as he simply continues out of the arena. Wanting to make as much distance from this place as possible. The smells of food causing the kobold to lick his muzzle, but that of salt reminding him of open waters and an obvious dead end in his escape. Not knowing the city, he was at the mercy of his fellow slaves as he stayed closer to those that looked like they knew where to go.
As Dhara casts Thaumaturgy, whispers are heard all around the area, causing people to turn their heads in confusion.
You all see a human guard in shining armour walk towards the opening to the arena in the ground, looking around confused. His eyes eventually find all of you, and stop to inspect Kamos and Meep, but he doesn’t seem too interested.
Continuing with the flow of people leaving the district you pass the two houses and are met with a wall lined with many windows. A tunnel leads through it which allows the paved path to continue. Through the tunnel, a set of steep stairs lead you down, and as they do, the sound of running water grows stronger. The walls of the tunnel give way to a bridge passing over a river with small transport vessels flowing under you, moving slowly. The walls do in fact gradually lower but only because of the terrain, still reaching high around the city. Even the river passage is barred by gates and guards inspecting every passing vessel. On the other side of the river is an open area that seems to function as some kind of loading docks for the inspection of the vessels. Beyond that is a lively city and, judging by a mass of people you can just make out far away, a straight paved path leads to what seems to be a city square. Closest to you the road is lined with quiet, simple houses, seemingly empty at the moment. You can just make out a smaller paved path leading along the wall; the smell of salt is stronger from that direction.
Dhara says to the group "I suggest we head for the city square, and perhaps there we can find an alley or a quiet place we can regroup and figure out our next move. We could duck in one of these houses but I think it would be better to be farther away from the arena where there's less likely to be anyone looking for us". Unless there is disagreement or a better suggestion she is continuing in that direction, trying to keep a low profile.

(Do you mean that Halhace is looking for a way other than the declining tunnel?)
(If we continue going out with the crowd, are they headed for an exit that we're aware of? I'm assuming so .. )

Dhara's sticking with the group - out with the crowd. They have to be leaving the building.

(If the crowd does then yes. He is trying to use them to hide.]
Jaylen turns to Dhara "As you wish. I will defer to your expertise. This is my first slave revolt after all. How exhilarating!"
Jaylen will attempt to copy Dhara and blend in with the crowd as best he can.
