Humphry would have closed the iron western door during their rest and sat by it, listening for any signs of movement beyond. Perception 6
After hearing Kic's words, the gnome jumps up from his position by the door, intertwining his fingers and splaying them outwards, cracking his knuckles, "Well l-l-l-let's get to it then g-g-g-ge-ge-gentlemen." Waddling up to the northern door, Humphry stretched back, rotating his shoulders in their sockets while his joints popped like firecrackers. "Alllllllrighty h-h-here, let's see what we've g-got." He starts examining the door for traps. Investigation 16
Dagon steps aside to allow Humphry the room he needs to conduct his business.
"Work your magic, little hunter." The half-orc rumbles. To his other companions, the marauder says, "I hear nothing beyond this door, but that may be misleading. Remain vigilant, pack mates."
Humphry finds no traps, and upon opening it, no apparent foes. Beyond is a rectangular room, with two doors on the east wall and several barrels overturned or otherwise lying against the wall. Part of the north wall has fallen away, and beyond it is a gaping chasm, only the gods know how deep or what horrors lurk at the bottom of it. You have entered through the south wall, and you take this all in with a glance.
After opening the door, Humphry turns his head to the rest of the group and puts a finger to his lips, "Shhhhh" With a furrowed brow, he motioned then to the chasm and began to whisper, "Someone l-light on their feet should ch-ch-ch-check that out" exchanging glances with his party members.
Perry placed a hand against the lute, silencing its melody at the motion from Humphry. He wasn't sure if he had the softest touch of the group, but he was skilled nonetheless. Moving into the room and toward the northern chasm to peek at its offerings
The half-orc stares hard for a moment at the crumbling north wall, and taking another couple careful steps forward, he glances toward the chasm beyond. His heavy sloping brow furrows in thought, and he leans in to sniff and smell the air wafting into the rectangular room from the exposed northern side.
Perception Check, smelling/listening for anything organic emanating from the chasm like rot, dung, footsteps, breathing, ect:7
Quietly, the warrior will then glance over his shoulder to address his teammates. "We should exercise caution." Dagon's low rumbling voice belies a temperance that seems at odds with his barbaric and savage appearance, "Do not forget the Grick droppings we saw earlier. There are great beasts imprisoned here, and though my axe thirsts for blood, our strength should remain conserved for our true enemy. If we choose to investigate this forlorn pit, then we must do it carefully."
If Humphry doesn't find anything amongst the barrels, he will go and check the two doors on the east walls for traps, the southmost one first(1) and the northmost one last(2).
Humphry backs away from both doors, points his finger to one of the doors and mumbles a strange rhythmic chant to himself, his finger rapidly switching to point at the other door and back again "...out goes Y...O...U! C-c-come on, through here! We need not tarry too long here." 2

Seeing Perry's approach, Humphry tiptoes over to the barrels Stealth 12, and starts looking through them Investigation 21.
Pulling out a tinderbox and torch, Perry lights the latter before tossing it in the hole.

Kic will enter the room and fly up taking in the room as much as possible while trying to be as silent as an owl.

None of you sees, smells, or hears anything but your own companions. It is as silent as a tomb.

(If my torch isn't casting any light down the hole, I'm not going down.
It casts a pale, dim light, but it only descends for about ten feet. There is something unnatural about this darkness.

Humphry opens the north most door on the eastern wall and signals the party to join him.
Kic will follow ready for battle while trying to be stealthy.
