Ah, yes, thank you. I continually forgot to use that cantrip and it would be super helpul with a reach weapon. Here is the damage roll if the armor moves it's turn. 4 thunder damage
Reverie Forestgleam—Human Paladin Level 5 in Frontier City of Nunkreet Extremely busy and busy as ever recently, but I will trying to catch up as much as I can
(I’ll let Froskan go a bit later in the order. He sees that Reverie and Iskander have smited the last armor into bits, and Trimyrai has broken free of the rug.)

Jack swings more at the rug. “lets get you out of there!” Trim is inspired by his heroic ability to swing a sword! (Bardic inspiration!)
Attack: 21 Damage: 4
(I hit, at least.)
(woah woah woah, half damage? Nevermind, let me redo that. I didn’t see that bit.)
Jack is about to swing when he notices he will hurt Trim in doing so. “Ok, let’s... hm... let’s try this!” He plays a Chaotic Beat, disturbing the Rug.
(Don’t you hate writer’s block? i can’t think of lyrics. Let’s just say he plays his drum really loud.)
(DC13 wisdom save or take 7 and run away. Half on save.)
Trim is still inspired by Jack’s amazing Drum skills! (Bardic inspiration!)

(Booming Blade/greenflame blade don't actually work with reach weapons (if you're using the reach). Both spells specifically have 5 foot range, so they don't work if you're attacking at 10 feet)
(Booming Blade/greenflame blade don't actually work with reach weapons (if you're using the reach). Both spells specifically have 5 foot range, so they don't work if you're attacking at 10 feet)
(As you might guess, I didn't have access to SCAG until you shared it for this campaign, so I'm still getting familiar with those spells. Thanks for the catch.)

Reverie hits the walking plate armor with her scimitar, but not with her dagger. Iskander gets a solid blow from his glaive (but doesn't cast Booming Blade since he is 10' away). The armor was weakened by the earlier Shatter damage, so these strikes are able to dismantle the armor, which stops moving.
Trimyrai struggles mightily, and for a second time manages to pull the leech-like rug away from him.
Froskan is pleased with his last cold orb, and applies some frost to the rug. (CON save: 10) The rug takes 1 damage and is affected.
Jack was about to stab the rug, then decides to try a spell-song. Too late he discovers that having an intelligence of 1 (the rug, not Jack) makes it unresponsive to his beats (immune to psychic damage).
Round 4
(Checking the result of the earlier save. And does it stay after Trimyrai (1,2) or go after Jack (3,4)? Roll: 1 )
The rug goes after Trimyrai a 3rd time, but is slowed by the chill from Froskan's spell. 16 Trimyrai rolls his eyes as the rug smothers him for a 3rd time.
Both armors are scrap metal. The rug has taken 1 damage. Iskander still at 18/24 hp, Reverie 20/28 hp, Trimyrai 12/25 hp.
The entire party can post. Initiative order: rug (it has gone); Froskan, Reverie, Iskander, Trimyrai, Jack. The rug is wrapped around Trimyrai... again. If anyone posts an attack, it will resolve after any attempts to free Trim, first.)

"Trimyrai!" Reverie gasps as soon as the rug wraps around him again. "Are you all right? What is wrong with that rug!" She mutters as she tries to rip the rug with her dagger.

Seeing the armor fall and Trim break free, froskan tries to freeze the rug. (DC13 con or 1 damage and disadvantage on attacks)
(Making fun of my inability to make lyrics leads to bad spells :) )
