There’s others on the quarter exposed ship too. Do you guys wanna look around more or press forward?

With 7 and the fact that they’re “frozen”, there’s nothing on deck. Meaning there actually isn’t.
Below deck (yes it’s accesible via a door on the far left side of deck) there may be more. Mwahaha.
What do you do?
Still press on past the ship?
Oh, and if you press forward exploring the ship, I shouldn’t have to remind you to probably be mindful of the “frozen” crew. About 5 of them spread about.

Looking at what happened with the bodies, Boran is happy to claim the other scimitar if no one objects. Otherwise he climbs on board to find the easiest accessible bladed weapon he can find.
“There’s something chilling about this place, we should continue onward”
"Yes, let's not linger on, these two walls of water...we don't know how long they are going to last...and these pieces of corpses might also be others who...stayed too long...?"
Going on for what seems like hours, you all finally see a large double door, rounded at the top (about 18 feet high and 9 feet across) at the end of this path along the Sea of the Dead.
The door itself is blackened just like the pillars were way before. Wide steps the width of the door lead up to it. Beyond the door above is a large temple structure. Wet and weathered, battered from centuries of sitting at the bottom of the sea, it looks crumbled yet sturdy.
On either side of the doors (in about the middle of their 9 foot wide span) are two large altars.
Words seem to be engraved into the doors, but you’d have to get closer to even read them.
“Oh, yes indeed!” exclaimes Jemrosh. His eyes full of horrific wonder, he shakes with a terror-ridden excitement. “Wretched Ones, the temple of past importance.”

Etched into the doors, rather faded by now but still able to be made out...
"Fear not, my children, for the Machine heals all and the blood of your sacrifice is aught but for nothing, else The Black Blade dulls”.
In Common.
At your question, Jemrosh blushes a little. "Wretched friends, I have a friend that may be inside this temple of past importance. I know nothing of the place, only that he said he would go there, that I should come when the hopelessness is most profound."

I know it sounds crazy but let me just try this out...
He takes the scimitar and cuts himself on the left palm of the hand until some blood comes out (some HPs, dunno how many), then he lays the hand on the door
(If Odysseus attempt doesn't do anything. Ignore this if something happens from his action)
With a shrug Alzaren says, "Did anyone think to just...try the door and see if it'll open?" He walks up and tries pulling (and/or pushing) on the door handle/knob/whatever it has.
Odyssues, nothing happens when you put your bloody palm on the door. (-1 HP)
Alzaren, the door doesn’t budge (no knobs/handles - just heavy rough doors).
However, Odyssues, after a few moments as you pull your hand away from the door in disappointment, you hear a faint, metallic-like hum from behind you.

This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
“Perhaps more blood?”
With scimitar drawn, Boran waits a few moments to see if anything happens with the vibrating altars. Then makes his way toward the door to see if the door remained stained with Odysseus blood or if it seems to have been soaked in.

Odysseus nods to Boran
"Yes, let's not linger on, these two walls of water...we don't know how long they are going to last...and these pieces of corpses might also be others who...stayed too long...?"
Alzaren shivers. "I'm all for not lingering," he says.

Odysseus goes to look at the carvings on the door , seeing if he is able to read them.
Then he turns to Jemrosh:
"What did you just say? did you know anything about it?"

Perzival: "How do we get in?"
Odysseus's head starts to work
the sacrifice...in this strange place...
Eventually he says to the others:
