With a slight nod, Zolin greets Lilyth and Sheska. Then, looking at Cora, he responds, "Yes, you are right. It seems we share something then. And, of course, whatever glorious wealth you find within those chests is entirely yours." Zolin pauses and looks up and down the shoreline. Unless, of course, any Legion patrols happen along.
The barbarian is ill at ease here in the open. Pointing to the dense line of trees a few hundred feet away, Zolin says, "I have a small camp set up there...food, water, shelter from prying eyes."
She glances over to Zolin then to Aendar. “If you all are concerned of the Legion we can haul these chests to our new friends camp.” Lilyth comments idly, trying to figure out how to open the chest to no avail. “Since he so graciously offered.”

The chests are locked, but indeed they can easily be carried. If you want to open them here you need a Thieves Tools. Would you like to go to Zolin's camp, or continue your journey?
Zolin leads the way, but doesn't offer to carry anything. He figures the group would prefer he kept his hands off their loot. Less than 80' into the trees is a simple bivouac with a few provisions, minimal gear, three javelins stuck in the ground, and the remnants of a tiny fire. "Not much of a camp. But there's food and water here if you wish."
After the group sets down the wooden chests, Zolin asks, "Have you seen other sun soldiers nearby? If you've come from the fort, maybe you saw some of my fellow warriors there?"
Sheshka eyes the newcomer curiously, but accepts his help. Best to keep an eye out. Gods know who might be a spy or a rival. The Orc stows her ax and hefts up two chests if any are available. She didn't say anything on the way back through the jungle. Not yet. Had to keep watch on their 'friend' here. Finally they came across Zolin's little nest. Minimal. Simple. Sheshka nods and drops the chests close by "Can't say I've seen any of your people out this way. What's your deal, huh? Why're you out here?"
Sheshka's question immediately causes Zolin to replay in his mind the events from the past few days.
"I am no deserter, I assure you," he says somewhat defensively. "The rest of my squad was captured two days ago by the Legion, and I...well, here I am."
Sheshka barks out a laugh "Don't really care if you're a deserter or not! If what you say is true, though, you may find you're in good company" At this point, the Orc bears her ax. She doesn't mean to strike at him. She just wields it for a moment. "Though if you are a deserter, that's fine too. You can desert on us right now for all I care. If you do, though, you may want to think twice about stealing from us on your way out. Clear?"
"Heh." Cora snorted in a quick laugh, mostly to herself. "My kinda gal, this one."
Cora sat down and made herself comfortable. She kept an eye out on the newcomer and their surroundings, thought, and also made sure Lilly was safe and close by.
Narrowing his gaze at the orc, Zolin nods his head slightly. "Clear. Remains to be seen, however, if those chests contain anything other than sand and sea shells," he remarks drily.
Lilyth remained standing after setting down the chest she had taken, her arms crossing themselves in front of her torso as the group spoke. She really didn’t have anything to say until Zolin commented on the chests.
She gave a look to Cora. “You can open these, right?”

Cora takes her tools and start to tinker with both chests' lock mechanisms. It took a while, and some sounds that the lock mechanism make when Cora is tinkering with it is unnerving, as if threatening that even a single mistake will break the rusted lock. But finally, every gear inside smoothly moves, allowing the chests be easily open with both hands.
Inside both chests is a collection of over a hundred copper coins (you estimate they are about 300 copper coins in each chests), and on one of them, also a small statue made of clean jade. You can tell at a glance that the jade is real, and the statue is worth some gold.
Over the statue is an inscription in primordial:
Bane for those who seek the night, death for those who seek the temple of the bat.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Lilyth bent over to pick up the discarded statue, although she couldn’t read the inscription, she would inspect to see if she knew what the statue was exactly.

“I don’t know anything about this,” She shows the statue to the group. “Anyone have an idea?”

"Well, lets go then? We'd better be fast till Legion
scumssoldiers find us", says Aendar not even looking at chests."Whoa, whoa." Cora says. "Some of us LIKE treasure, you know."
(Are the chests small enough to be carried to Zolin's camp?)

The chests are locked, but indeed they can easily be carried. If you want to open them here you need a Thieves Tools. Would you like to go to Zolin's camp, or continue your journey?
"Alright." Cora said, picking up one of the chests. It wasn't heavy. "They appear light enough. Let's head to Zolin's camp."

Cora looked at Lilly. "Mhmm." she said, getting out her tools. "Gimme."
She flipped through her keys and got to work.

Hm. Tricky locks. Ok, people are staring. Don't let them see you sweat. Act natural.
"Huh!" her voice cracked. "Must be a little..uh, rusted."

Cora laughed nervously. Thank the Hells it opened, that would have been embarassing. Looking inside, she said,
”Ehhh, it’s just some coins and a stupid statue.”
She tossed the statue aside and started dividing up the coins evenly.
Lilyth bent over to pick up the discarded statue, although she couldn’t read the inscription, she would inspect to see if she knew what the statue was exactly.
