Phen raises his shield to block the incoming attack, but as soon at it makes impact his shoulder crumples. It seems his injury has not quite healed. Phen gasps as he realizes what has happened. The slams hard into him and he crumples to the ground.
K'Dar looks between the two as well as any other volunteers before nodding firmly. "Very well then." He looks to Aramys. "You'll be entrusted to 3rd and Last Watch. During the last one-..." He looks to Eoin next. "This one will join you. For Third, I'll grab one of the others to join you on that detail." On that note, K'Dar enlists one of the dwarves of the unit for third watch, if there is one. At least he could've sworn there was a Dorri Stronghold, though... maybe he was mixing up units? Either way, with that and hopefully second(including Neeth and another soldier) and 1st(himself and a human soldier) squared away, K'Dar left folk to their own devices till it came time for rest.

Seeing Tusk swim away, Feldri tossed Quinn's end of the rope. "Brother Tusk, we will not want to be separated. I am going to go under, see if I can find what has taken Brother Quinn." After Tusk took the rope, Feldri took a deep breath before diving beneath the surface. He looked around for Quinn, or whatever took him.
Perception: 10 (rolled with disadvantage, to account for murky swamp water.)
Air Remaining: 15 minutes
[Edited my original post to accommodate for Quinn's disappearance.]
The night passes without event, and you awake refreshed to find the rising sun shining full on your face. The mountains are still miles away, but with your speed you should reach their base by noon.

The orc which laid low the mighty Phen rushes towards Quavari with a snarl, swinging it's axe. Its face is covered in burns from Wraith's green flames and its ribs lie exposed by Phen's blade, but it refuses to fall.

Wraith once again invokes his patron, the Burning Blade, & his sword is again shrouded in the eerie emerald flames. Wraith lashes out at the Orc.

K'Dar, ever the den mother without often meaning to be, made rounds to make sure all rose and properly packed up camp. However, he is patient, and offers aid when necessary to hasten things along before taking up position back in the forefront of the group. Though he once more has his shield readied for the journey, his other hand stays open, but close at hand to draw either lance or crossbow at a moments notice. "It won't be long now, my fellows. In a few hours, we'll reach the base. We keep to the same formation as last, but those skilled with a bow or magic should keep both ready along with a eye on the sky. We can't afford any more surprises." On that note, K'Dar starts leading the way ahead.

Such is the power of Wraith's wrath that when his blade strikes the orc, it is consumed in bright green flames. The orc is reduced to a charred skeleton within seconds.
A short dwarf cleric, Gribble by name, bends over the fallen Phen and Quavari. "Ye can't be sleepin' on us yet. The battle isn't over!" He banters, reviving the two with Cure Wounds.

The cleric is still smiling when an orcish arrow splits his skull. The battle is indeed not yet over, and the scarred polar bear loping towards you is a clear indicator of that fact. Second round of Initiative!
You cover ground quickly, and before the sun has reached it's highest point in the sky you walk within the shade of the Lonely Mountains. A beaten mountain path leads straight through the mountains to the lands of the east, territory in the dominion of the enemy. Another path branches off of the main one, leading to the Whispering Monastery, an abbey of monks who seek to become one with the element of air. This path leads ever higher into the mountains until it is lost to view, and it is said that in the Whispering Monastery one can touch the clouds.

"Brother Quinn!" Feldri gripped the rope in his hands and pulled with all his might.

With Tusk's help, Feldri managed to pull Quinn's end of the rope back to the surface.
