Hello, This is simply a place holder for the Sequel campaign to Eon: Survival at Sea.
Set on the Planet Eon, 4 decades after the Events of Survival at Sea. The World has become a more hostile environment, Monsters freely roam the lands unchallenged. The Order of the Blood Rose has taken power in most of the Civilized world. A Group of monster hunters known for their odd powers based in blood. Quelling the masses and Riots raised in 3 of the largest cities on the continent of Urolued. The Crown city, Lusfet; Where the once king Daed leus had ruled. Is now under the rule of the Blood Rose, who control the masses with a iron fist. Executing citizens for simple crimes of theft and assault, In their rule no crime is tolerated.
Emperor Commander Kuls Vern now Imposes her will as Law, as Head of the Blood Rose she has taken ruler ship of the continent onto herself. A Woman born of simple means but strove for greater things, It is said she killed her parents at a young age and this is what made her aware of the power of Blood.
The Gods left Eon in the years after she took the Throne, taking with them their most devoted so that they may be spared. Since then worship of them has become somewhat of a rarity, and in many places illegal and punishable by Death. The arcane arts are still new to the world, having only been discovered 4 decades prior and barely practiced.
The Year is 13 A.G. With the departure of the gods a new Time was deemed to start and thus "After Gods" was to be used. It is cresting onto winter, a cold time of year for Urolued being the northern most continent. It's folk are hardy if simple, they work hard and enjoy what they have. In a simple town known as Doreth, You all stand staring at a bounty board. There is only one current poster on the board, a Wanted sign for a man only know as "Red Hood" His bounty is listed as 500 GP alive, 250 dead.
This is a long term campaign that requires 6 players, It will not start immediately upon posting this. Rather it will begin when Survival at Sea concludes as I do not want to focus on more then 1 campaign at a time. This is simply to gauge interest in the campaign itself, Please note that Players of Survival at Sea are Permitted to apply to this campaign if they wish. No carry over nonsense however, completely new character.
Characters will start at level 2, Standard array of gear for their class. Roll ability scores in the thread once you have been confirmed as a player.

Thank you for your interest, Recruitment for the Campaign will start within the next 2-3 Weeks. As I believe that is when Survival at sea will start getting into the last beats of the Campaign. I realize this is a long wait and especially odd to post the campaign and not recruit immediately. This was to gauge interest in the Campaign itself and give potential players a chance to inquire about the world I have Created and its history.
Superservo27, I am open to using the revised Artificer. Artificer is a fun class and deserves some much needed love.
The campaign will use 5e and will be Milestone, Milestone has always been my preference simply because it keeps all players even.
Recruitment will be on a First come, First serve basis. If you have a idea for a character, please PM me the details and where you would like the character to go. Granted I am looking for a diversified group of Characters. Different races and classes are encouraged. So as to not clutter the group with the same skill set, only 1 character of each class will be permitted.
Arrockars are not permitted, Because of a certain aspect within the actual campaign Dwarves are also not permitted.
Multiclassing will happen later in the campaign and is not available during the early levels.

Hmmm...well this certainly sounds interesting. Looks like it will be quite a bit different from E:SaS, but I am certainly intrigued. I'd like to put my name forward as a possible player, although I want to see how the first campaign wraps up before deciding for sure if I want to be in this one or not.
Neomagus, Currently all players from Eon:Survival at Sea are softly considered for this campaign. It's a good group that knows what their doing and knows a little about my world already. Unfortunately not every player will be permitted to join as I do want to include new players in this Campaign.
Skorched Skies is meant to be a completely different campaign from Survival at Sea. Where the collection and spending of gold applies, a more rural setting with Laws that have to be obeyed. If any characters from Survival at Sea actually survive the endgame phase, they may even appear in Skorched Skies as a NPC.

The full map will be made available to you when the actual campaign begins. Currently I have a map of the continent and am putting the finishing touches on the map of the Country.
What would you like to know from the Map?

Reigntail, since I've now already discussed the basics of my character with you, is it alright if I go ahead and roll ability scores here? I'd like to go ahead and see about building the character.

About that, do we roll for stats or can we use point-buy/standard array?
Original post said we would roll for stats here in the thread once we've been confirmed as players, although if you want to use standard array or point buy instead, I'm sure that wouldn't be too problematic.

I know haha, I'm just making sure since I find standard array to be way more balanced. I haven't been confirmed as a player (or at least that's what I think, maybe I am and I'm just too dumb to realize) but I would like to know beforehand :p, I don't mind rolling for stats tho.
Currently the 3 of you are confirmed players for Scorched skies. You can use standard array or point buy if you wish, it's not that big of a deal.
If you do not like rolling stats, use point buy or standard. If you have rolled stats and are unhappy with them, you can re-roll them once.

Would new players be let in? If so, can I join?
New players are able to join.
Would you consider using this?

Cool!
Is there a map or something we can use?

I don't need it anymore, sorry. I figured out a solution.

Gotcha.
I’m gonna roll for stats.
Ability scores: 13 11 11 9 12 15
Edit: re-roll: Ability scores: 10 8 16 12 15 17

Hmm...that's actually not terrible, it could certainly be a lot worse...but I'm not a fan of only one score above 13.
If I decide to reroll, do I have to stick with the second set, or can I go back and still use this one?
