Kyne yawns and ostentatiously squeezes Daedagnir's hilt. The blade flashes briefly with a corona of flame that rapidly dissipates, prompting Shallan to giggle at his antics.
Happy to see interest in his work, Dworic begins explaining to Seb the nature of harnessing energy through machinations and how the true potential of these shards exists when civilization and nature work together. He only gives the basic principles of how to harness their energy as he doesn't want to reveal too much information.
Despite the Dworic's efforts not to share too much information, soon both the dwarf and the high elf are engaged in a debate between metamagic and philosphy about the fundamentals of the magic and how the myths of the creation of Eberron could had shaped it all.
Sallan is the first to lose interest on that and start to play with Kyne's ear with one of her nails. Hurosk and Lireys turn their attention to the people gathered at the inn and they check that, for once, everyting seems normal and safe. Moltaris keeps to herself, buried in deep thoughts of her own mission and wondering on the big scope of things.
Finally they call it a noght and go to their rooms. They meet again early in the morning, after a night of rest in big, confortable beds. Hurosk is worried that nothing had jumped over them during the night.
They share a good breakfast with anything they could ask for, boiled and fried eggs, bacon, salad, fruits, honey, milk... there is no question about why the Gallanda House has the best inss in whole Eberron.
Long after the others retreat to their rooms, Moltaris stays in the common room, sitting by the fire. Her golden eyes thrum with a glow all their own as she stares into its depths.
The next morning, she is the last to the common room. She swallows her coffee, leans back in her chair and scrubs her face with rough hands. Shaking her head to clear it, she asks, "What now?"

"I like libraries. Well, to be honest librarians like *me*. I guess they are not accustomed to my folk. But I can help them understand what you are looking for."The words float in Seb's mind before Moltaris realizes that she didn't say them to the elf.
"I apologize. Sometimes I forget..."

Hurosk comes traipsing down the stairs, rubbing his eyes. "You'd think a fella could get a good night's sleep when there's nothing to worry about something attacking us,"he says through a yawn. "Going to need something to wake me up."He orders up a some eggs, bacon and bread with honey.
"So, what is it we're looking for information on," he asks as he's about to dig into his breakfast. "Some Yuriel the Forgotten, right?"
"That's what our furry-legged friend said," Kyne confims, helping himself to some more bacon from their platter.
"Dagur seemed to suggest that Yuriel was a wizard and that knowledge of him has been lost and/or deliberately hidden - thus forgotten." The elf swallows between sentences.
"So we'll have to see how much there really is for us to find. The Seelie court - or at least I suspect it's the Seelie court - has sensed his return, which may be the work of some cult out there." Kyne gesticulates as he eats, waving his hand in the direction of the outdoors.
"I suppose we'll find out. Either way, Dagur said that we need weapons capable of defeating Yuriel. Weapons powered by Dragonsouls." He taps his hip and nods to Lyreis and Seb.
"We'll likely have more luck investigating that for the time being... which is why we need to get to Sarlona. To find Old Lornack in Dul Zerath, who should hopefully know more." The elf sets his fork down in conclusion, seemingly satisfied with his summary.
Rising early as always, Seb'riel spends a large amount of the early hours continuing to work through the notes she has liberated from the vampire that held her captive for so long. She picks at her food but drops it, startled to hear Moltaris' voice inside her head. "Do not apologise. I had heard your people had such gifts but I have never experienced it before. It is strange, but interesting. You should do it more often. Does it work both ways?"
She gets up as Kyne suggests they move to the library, her pack already nearby, stuffed with ink and parchment and her own books recovered from the burning tower. But falls in beside Moltaris as they walk in order to continue the conversation.
"It can if I need it to, but it takes more effort from me, and I can only pick up what you choose to send."
An enigmatic half-smile appears on the kalashtar's face. "There are... useful rumors that kalashtar can read minds or something, but that is nonsense."

Seb grins. A rare sight. "Excellent. Removing the power of knowledge by assumption that it is shared. Most wise. We should experiment with this, later though. I would love to learn your gift and understand how it works."
Up late working tinkering with new ideas based on what he learned from the group, Dworic slept in as the rest of the party was live and bustling. He makes his way down the stairs of the in seeing the group already deciding on what to do today. His heavy steps alert the group as they look over to see a burly dwarf in striped pajamas and a matching nightcap, his eyes squinting as he has barely woken up. He approaches the bar on his way to the group and groggily orders a coffee. He approaches the group and he begins to talk leading with a large yawn, "yaaawn, ayverywuns op an aht it. Wuts yer plans fur tuday?" (yawn, everyone's up and at it. What's your plans for today?)
After a good breakfast, the best they had memory to ever had, the whole party, along with their new dwarf friend, wlaks across the vibrant streets of the city towards the library. They had to ask for directions but once they reach the high district they can see the library building on top of one of the many little hills that cover this area. The building is beautiful, with tall columns of white marble at the entrance and a big colored window just over the main entrance.
The great wooden double doors are open and they see a few students and scholars in the stairs that lead to the entrance and entering the library.
Seb leads the way and they enter it. The interior is no less impressive and elegant, the sun entering trhought the window above them gives the interior a warm illumination of the stairs that lead to the interior. The statue of one godness looms over the hall and they can see it once they are inside.
They walk, silent as the imposing surroundings demand reverence like a temple, and reach a desk where a warforged of nimble build and wearing a yellow tunic look at them from behind a pair of glasses.
" Good morning " says the warforged with a voice that only can be described of an elder man " What can I do for you? " he leans forward as if he needed it to see them better.
"Good morning." Seb had learnt that respecting pleasentries was important to gaining the compliance of librarians. "I need to research dragonshards and ancient gods, particularly in areas where they might overlap. My friends here are to help me. Could I perhaps make use of a desk?"
"Woohh no need to shout... how rude of you young man... we are at a library after all. Now now... the port is, of course, at lake-side. "
He looks at you with a smile, happy to have been of service apparently.
Moltaris grins at Kyne, totally unsurprised at this turn of events. Then she turns to the warforged and speaks softly, wondering if her mental link will work with such a creature. "I am sorry, master librarian," she both thinks and speaks towards him. "but you misheard. My friend is here to research dragonshards and ancient gods. Is there a research room we could use?"
