Kyne takes the offered hand and grasps Hurosk's forearm firmly in a warm warrior's greeting, before passing over the purse for counting.
"I look forwards to working with you," he replies, with a friendly grin.
When the coin has been shared out he scrapes his pile into his own pouch, before nodding to the remaining 25 and adding.
"Six each? I don't mind who gets the last piece, but we might want to put this away."
He throws a discreet glance towards the watching patrons.
Once everything has been shared out, he relaxes back into his seat. The tall elf looks a little too big for the chair as he lounges, legs sprawled out in front of him.
"So... the night is still young. Very young, if you're a drug dealer. Shall we take to the streets?"
The elf glances a couple of rough looking sailors for their look to look down when he scans the patrons, trying to act casual but failing miserably on doing it.
Perhaps he was right to advice guarding so much gold as soon as possible.
"My thoughts exactly!" The half-orc looks down to the smaller pile of coins. "We could use that to secure some rooms here if it appears we are going to be here awhile."
"Agreed," Kyne assents, "although you paid for yourself already, if memory serves." He changes a gold piece on the table for ten silver and pushes two gold and five silver over to Hurosk.
"Five silver a night, for five nights, for three of us makes seven gold, five silver..." upon which he pulls said amount from the table to bring to Yandrylax.
"That leaves fifteen gold..." he pushes four gold pieces to each of his new companions and pockets the remaining three.
"Done. I'll have a word with that charming dragonborn and then we can head out," Kyne says with a warm, but final smile, quickly wrapping the matter up. He's keen to move on and wary of the watchful eyes.
Rising, the elf moves to speak with Yandrylax. One hand carries the coin, while the other secretly fingers one of his hidden blades, ready for any trouble.
While the elf secures a room for himself with the dragonborn he keeps an eye on the sailors. It seems that seeing a well armed and capable group standing together makes them think twice about that gold they carry.
After a couple of minutes they are set and ready to go.
Kyne scoffs at Moltaris' dour, brooding tone, but at least her heart is in the right place. Protecting innocents seems to be important to everyone here, which is good enough for him.
"Easy Molly," he teases. "Don't show too much empathy now, you might burst into tears."
"Not likely," she growls back, missing the joke entirely. She glares at one of the sailors and then another, wondering if this is the evening destined for one of their deaths. When they turn back to their table, she snorts and stands up, ready to go with the rest of the group.

Kyne rolls his eyes at Moltaris' grumbling answer.
He quickly asks Yandrylax for directions to the Naked Trout and the Golden Sphynx, before returning to the others.
"I don't expect to find the merchant at this hour. Shall we head to the Golden Sphynx?"
The way that Kyne asks makes it obvious that he'd prefer the more luxurious option while investigating.
"Seems a more sensible, and more comfortable choice. I see no reason not to." Lyreis swirls the remainder of his wine in its vessel, watching the ruby liquid creep closer to the brim before setting it down in front of him. "I am ready when you are, do we all agree?"

Kyne nods to the rest of the group and leads them out of the Purple Silk and into the night time streets of Delethorn, guiding the party towards the Golden Sphynx. He watches the streets carefully as they walk, keeping an eye peeled for suspicious behaviour or anything that might be related to their investigation.
Molly follows along, a bit apart from the group but staying nearby and ready to assist if something surprising happens. She doesn't skulk through the shadows, but just works to blend in with the townsfolk rather than strolling down the road like a swaggering adventurer.

The streets are not empty, but it isn't the most busy hour either. The ones that are still outside enduring the humid mist that covers the city go on their bussines. And the mist makes it hard to see anything and cast goshtly shadows from the torches that lit some streets and the entrance of some buidlings here and there.
They go to the Golden Sphynx with easy and they have no doubt that had reached the place for it one of the most illuminated buildings they had seen, with several . In front of the Governor Palace they see the stone stairs that head to a couple of wooden and decorated doors, lit by some lamps with spells of continual flame and their blindports open. Above the wooden doors rest a relief of a sphynx laying on the ground with one of his pawns raised. Great windows, mostly covered by yellow and orange cortinage on the inside, gives glimpses of some kind of ballet hall inside the walls.
A couple of guards, dressed in white and golden clothes over their leather armors and armed with swords and light crossbows, are each at one side of the door. When they are approaching an old couple well dressed with silks are just finishing to enter a carriage, helped by a vallet dressed in a similar way that the two guards, but with no weapons or armor visible. The young woman closes the door fo the carriage, accepts with a nod a couple of coins that the man gives to her and the horse starts moving, carrying the elegant carriage into the night. The vallet turns and heads inside.
Molly:
While you are walking towards it, in one of the allies that are near the building, you clearly see a figure among the shadows near the end of the alley. You pass the alley and its just when you just pass it when your brain alerts you that you just had seen some kind of creature. It appeared to have a couple of horns and a big cape around its shoulders, or it was a couple of folded wings? You are not sure, even if you had seen something. You take two steps back and look again inside the alley. And you find it empty.
Moltaris focuses her stare on the back of Hurosk's head. The star-shaped art around the kalashtar priestess' left eye glitters with her concentration, and her voice murmurs unbidden in the half-orc hunter's mind. (OOC: Kalashtar Mind Link racial ability)
"Hurosk, hang back at the door. Saw something back in the alley that has no place here. Checking it out."
(OOC: Using bonus action to grant him the ability to reply)
She pauses long enough to see his response, then ducks down the alley with her shield ready and other hand open for casting.

Hurosk is taken aback by the sudden intrusion by what turns out to be a familiar voice. He turns and gives the cleric a nod. "Understood... Use caution." He replies. As the newcomer has already gone in, the half orc pulls on Lyreis arm. "I'm going to wait out here. Molly may have stumbled onto something." The half orc readies an arrow and moves closer to the corner where Moltaris turned down the alley. He tries to slip into the shadows of the night and tries to take up a position where he can keep an eye on the cleric's back.
One of the guards moves to block the entrance to Kyne, not agressively, but he canot enter yet.
" Your invitation please Sir?"
He opens a hand, waiting for the elf to give him something.
Meanwhile Molly starts to check the dark alley and despite the mist and the lack of light, she uses the light coming from the street and the upper windows of the building to her right, the one they were looking for, to her advantage. The only thing she finds are a few blood drops near the position of the spoted creature and some marks in the stone of the floor, as the marks that a pair of claws would have left.
Thanks to his training, Hurosk finds the perfect spot to cover the cleric and he has a clear shot on the alley. He sees her check the ground and carefully inspecting the floor and walls of the alley carefully.
My fault not saying that due to light conditions things like perception and investigation should be done with disadvantage, play and learn ;)
Also we got a little "time-lapse" here, a "mini party-split" so to speak, as the action at the front door probably will take much less time than the search at the alley. I will let Kyne to reply to the guard first ok?
Nodding in understanding Lyreis pauses to take in the layout of the street whispering "take care, call if needed" before entering behind Kyne. Leaving the door open the elf closes the distance to his fellow elf and speaking quietly in their own language says "we may have a problem outside be ready to leave when I call" he then moves to stand near the door, keeping an eye out into the street, looking for Hurosk, Moltaris or any sign of danger.

"Oh! Of course..." Kyne feigns, patting his torso up and down as though searching for an invite in a pocket. He fishes a piece of a parchment from one, deftly folding it around 10 gold pieces that he discreetly hands to the guard.
"My invitation," he emphasises subtly, slipping it into the man's hand where he can feel the weight of the coins.
The guard is opening his mouth to say something but then he notices that with the parchment came a little extra.
The maiden looks at them but says nothing, entering the building and dissapearing inside.
The guard seems to ponder his options as Lyreis tries to figure out what's happening with Hurosk and Molly, but he isn't able to see them, not without turning completely wich would be weird in front of the guards.

From the partially open doors a nice music can be heard, some kind of vals it seems.
