Glynquinal nods in agreement with Ian's assessment of the armor, "It might not smell very good now, but it can be cleaned and is an improvement. Time to upgrade."
Daran smirks at Herr Doktor. "I'm sorry, lad, you must have misheard me. I was the cleric of the party," he says humbly. (Translation: I typed she when it should have been he.) He looks around the field as the others tie up the Redbrand. "When I realized what you strangers were up to — taking on the Redbrands at night right here at the Sleeping Giant — I worried for your safety. It looks like you may not have needed my help. You are stronger than I realized." He looks at the dragonborn. "And I can answer your question about Glasstaff. He is the Redbrands' leader. From what I gather, he hasn't been around long, but the Redbrands have become much more organized under his leadership. I'm glad to see someone teach these ruffians a lesson. It’s time someone took a stand against them. I'm afraid I'm no match for them alone, and no one has wanted to stand with me. I've had to be content to work from the shadows, and that was never my strong suit. I can be a witness to what this one said: The main Redbrand safe house lies under Tresendar Manor, the ruin at the east edge of town. I haven't been brave enough to venture inside, but I've seen them coming and going. I didn't know that that's where the Dendrar family had disappeared to, though." He looks at the others. "Will you help them?"
Glynquinal steps forward, and offers his hand in greeting, "I am Glynquinal, but my friends call me Glyn sometimes. Your strong suit might not be working from the shadows, but that happens to be a specialty of both mine, and Ian's. We excel at that sort of thing. You can count on my aid good sir."
The Redbrand furrows his brow at Rock and shrinks away a little, looking confused and a little wary.
Daran shakes his head. "I don't know. It's hard to keep them straight. There are probably ... 10 or so more?" he says more as a question than an answer. He looks at the sky as if trying to judge the time by the stars. "Are you staying at the inn tonight? You really should seek shelter, and I need to get home myself. I've had enough excitement for one night."
"We should return to the inn with our prisoner," says the Herr Doktor Professor as he retrieves his dagger. "Perhaps the innkeep can provide 'accomodations' for our prisoner.
"We should make sure to be well-rested before we explore that ruined mansion."
Ian says to the group We really should be getting back to the Inn. A good rest for us all, and perhaps we can decide how to infiltrate Tresandor Manor tomorrow. Lets find a place to lock this ruffian up, then bed down for the night.
Glynquinal turns to Ian, "This one seems to be at the end of usefulness. Perhaps we should use a more direct approach. No loose ends are better than a knife in our back when we don't see it coming."
To Glyn I may agree with you, however, the good doctor assured this man of his safety if he surrendered. Herr Doctor gave his word, and we will not go back on that.
Glynquinal slowly nods his head in agreement, and walks back to the inn with his friends. As soon as he's through the door, Glynquinal goes straight to his room to check on the chest he stashed earlier from Klarg's cavern, and to do what he can to clean up the studded leather armor, then don it.
Before the party returns to the inn, the Herr Doktor Professor will ask Glynquinal if he found anything in the Redbrand lair (since Glyn said he was going to check it out).
Glynquinal replies, "I do apologize Herr Doktor, but I did not take the time to do that. In the morning perhaps you and I could poke around and see what might be discovered."
Glynquinal nods in agreement with Ian's assessment of the armor, "It might not smell very good now, but it can be cleaned and is an improvement. Time to upgrade."

Gruxx says to Rock, "No studded armor needed here. My chest hair provides enough protection."
Gruxx then smiles, "That was a good show by all but from the little amount I can remember I believe you won that bet Rock. Here you are."
Gruxx hands Rock his treasured bug bear head, "Keep it safe. You've earned it."
Gruxx then says to Daran, "I let these others do the thinking and decision making but I won't be disappointed if we go after a wizard."
Rock to Grux "to be honest I just wanted to go make noise, and I do believe the you keep what you kill"
To Darin "I would be honored to help save them, plus we still need to find the rest!"
to the Redbrand " if you have more to say, now would be a good time to tell us"
rock licks his lips again and smiles very tooth at the Redbrand
Glynquinal steps forward, and offers his hand in greeting, "I am Glynquinal, but my friends call me Glyn sometimes. Your strong suit might not be working from the shadows, but that happens to be a specialty of both mine, and Ian's. We excel at that sort of thing. You can count on my aid good sir."
Glynquinal asks Daren, "Do you know how many more of this kind remain?" pointing to the lone Redbrand remaining.
The Redbrand furrows his brow at Rock and shrinks away a little, looking confused and a little wary.
Daran shakes his head. "I don't know. It's hard to keep them straight. There are probably ... 10 or so more?" he says more as a question than an answer. Rock to Glyn and Ian, "Doc's word is good for me, I will not eat him this night but he will need gaurded
To Grux, "you keep the bugbears head and have this Redbrand head as my thanks for helping to make some good noise this night.
Lets go get cleaned up again you have a date to keep!"
Gruxx takes the Redbrand head and adds it to his bag nodding in thanks. "Ah! I forgot! She'll be waitin' for me! We need to wrap this up."
The Redbrand is marched back to the Inn. At the front door, Daran bids the group goodnight and continues on to his own home.
Glynquinal slowly nods his head in agreement, and walks back to the inn with his friends. As soon as he's through the door, Glynquinal goes straight to his room to check on the chest he stashed earlier from Klarg's cavern, and to do what he can to clean up the studded leather armor, then don it.

Ian to the group Thank you for an....eventful evening. Hopefully tomorrow will bring more of the same.
Ian will also attempt to clean his new leather armor - then turn in for the night.
Glynquinal replies, "I do apologize Herr Doktor, but I did not take the time to do that. In the morning perhaps you and I could poke around and see what might be discovered."
"Sehr gut," the Herr Doktor Professor replies as he retires to his room.
