Chapter One: A LMoP Adventure

As they continue down the trail, Herr Doktor plays a soft somber song on his lute for the party. 

Gruxx will take point following the tracks.

Glynquinal will take up a position close behind Gruxx to lend aid if needed.

Rock will follow Ian and HDP

Herr Doktor will finish playing his tune, and put away his lute. 

Ian is keeping an out out around them for anything out of the ordinary: Perception 19

Another 30 minutes down the trail, the party comes upon a small clearing. It looks like a camp site. There is a dead campfire in the center and a couple logs pulled up close that would have been used for seating.

Glynquinal will Investigate to see if any trash or gear was left behind to give a clue on who used the camp site.

Gruxx moves up to try to determine how recently the fire went out.

Not sure what to roll here is a straight D20 no modifiers. 9

Glynquinal, you don't find anything left behind.

Gruxx, we'll use survival for this, which is +2=11. You think it was probably burning within the last day, but you're not positive.

Glynquinal to Gruxx, "Well, Gruxx, it looks like they left nothing behind for us to find. How long ago do you think they were here? Any idea how many?"

"Grux lets see if we can find a trail."

Gruxx stands up from the fire.

"Based on the ashes here it's not been out long.  They probably headed out a day or so ago.  Not sure on how many but hopefully they left enough tracks for us."

Gruxx nods to Rock and begins looking along the ground for tracks.

Survival:  12

Glynquinal offers to Gruxx, "If you can find a trail out of here, perhaps we can find our way to sorting out some of the problems that have hit this area."

Ian, you look up and can see the sun overhead. It looks to be a little past midday.

Whoever is leading the expedition to look for and follow tracks, roll four survival checks. Go ahead and roll them at advantage.

Glynquinal seeing Gruxx doing a fine job of tracking so far will wait for him to lead the way.

To Gruxx, "Lead on Gruxx. You seem to have a good eye for this sort of thing."
