Shaking his head lightly, Glynquinal answers, "No we barely scratched the surface here. If you're feeling up to it perhaps we could take a look around after a rest"
Gruxx wipes some blood from his face and looks around at the corpses.
"Well I feel like we fought the whole castle. I'd be surprised if anyone was left. Surely they would have heard this commotion like these goblins did and come to help." says Gruxx.
"Rest?" Gundren asks, looking confused. "This place isn't safe. I know there's an army of goblins in here. Hobgoblins, too. I'm not sure that's a good idea. If you want to rest, you should do it outside."
Herr Doktor, responding to both Gundren and Glyn: Our friend Gundren is right. Inside these walls we are not safe. We should retreat and rest. We can return and find the map, but we wont be any good to anyone if we are dead.
Considering the possibilities, Glynquinal opts for leaving while still intact, and returning more prepared for a larger conflict. "Gundren may well have the right of it. We need to be well prepared if we are to take on such a large challenge outnumbered. We should leave while we can, heal up, resupply, and return as quickly as possible to search for for the map."
Ian, Herr Doktor and Rock decide to search the room as Glynquinal prepares Gundren to move.
Ian, you move over to the bed in the corner to toss it. As you're about to throw the blanket off the top, you notice it has the same tribal symbol sewn into it that you saw on the crates before. You pick up the blanket, realizing it's not a blanket, but a cloak of some sort. The symbol is sewn into the collar. As you hold it, you can tell this is no ordinary cloak. You stuff the cloak into your pack and pulls the mattress off the bed frame. Hidden underneath is a stitched leather sack. You open the top and look within. It contains 220 sp, 160 ep, three potions of healing, and a map.
Herr Doktor and Rock find nothing else of interest in the room.
Ian says to the rest: We can divide this up later. Lets get Gundren to safety.
Ian keeps a potion of healing for himself, and hands one to Gruxx and the other to Glyn. Use them when you need them. Dont want to end up dead on the ground surrounded by a bunch of goblins.
Ian Is thinking about the cloak. Perhaps he can find someone to ask about it...(also, DDP, can you remind me of the crates/symbol from before that it is related to? I cant find it in my notes.)
Glynquinal to Ian, "Thank you. It wouldn't do to fall at the hands of some smallish Goblins that won't be remembered after their foul smell has gone from this world."
Tucking the potion of healing away, Glynquinal gives his fear a quick once over readying himself to leave.
