Glynquinal graciously accepts the coin. "Indeed Sister, this was the path I feel calling me. I will gladly sit down with you for as long as you are willing to learn what I can."
Holding the coin in his hand Glynquinal feels an excitement as he starts down a different path of possibilities.
Ian, Herr Doktor, and Gruxx, you tell Gundren you'd like to accompany him to help him find Sildar and his brothers. As Barthen's is the first business upon entering Phandalin, Gundren suggests they stop in. "Barthen is a good friend," the dwarf explains. The party steps in and finds Barthen sitting behind the counter.
Upon seeing the party, Barthen's eyes light up. Then, when his eyes fall on Gundren, he gets to his feet, raising his arms in a gesture of welcome. "Gundren Rockseeker, my friend!" He hurries around the corner and approaches. "The saviors of Phandalin have saved you as well! It is so good to see you!"
Gundren accepts the man's arm. "It is good to be seen. I was worried I'd never make it out alive. Barthen, are my brothers in town? I'm sure they're worried."
Barthen shakes his head, his excitement dampening quite a bit. "Your brothers have not yet returned from their latest excursion. It's been ... almost two tendays. I'm getting worried."
Gundren furrows his brow and looks around at the three party members before looking back at Barthen. "I'm sure they're fine. They probably just got detained. I'm also looking for Sildar Hallwinter. Do you know where I might find him?"
"The new townmaster? I'd start at the Townmaster's Hall."
Gundren looks surprise. "Sildar is the new townmaster? What happened to Harbin?"
"Disappeared," Barthen replies. "We suspect he didn't like the competition and went back to being a banker."
"Well, I guess we'll check the —" Gundren begins.
Barthen steps around Gundren, interrupting him, and begins shaking hands with the party members. "Before you leave, I want to be sure to give you my thanks for ridding Phandalin of those awful Redbrands. Since you rescued Mirna and her kids, we haven't seen a one of them, and we are so thankful."
Glynquinal, the sister invites you to her house, which is next door to the Shrine of Luck.
Rock, you leave the blacksmith and head south to try to find any of the others.
Glynquinal, the sister takes into her modest home, sits you down, and begins telling you all about Tymora. She will talk as long as you will listen, so I'll let you decide how much of the day you spend there.
At your words, Ian and Gruxx, Barthen smiles warmly. "Your leadership and example is what we needed." He again thanks you and encourages you to return if you need any supplies.
Gundren leads you out. A ways down the road, you see Rock walking south and appearing to be looking for someone or something. You quickly catch up to him. Gundren says the group is heading to the Townmaster's Hall.
Ian says to Gundren as they walk "Gundren, how well do you know Sildar? I am just thinking, who all knew of your travels and your map? For you to be ambushed, someone had to know when you were going, where you were going, how you were going to get there, and that you would have the map on you...who knew this information? Sildar was with you, but he was still alive. Any chance Sildar would betray you? I just want to know what we are walking into here..."
Gundren looks surprised. "Well, I hadn't thought of that. I don't know Sildar very well at all. He claimed to be a member of the Lords' Alliance, but I suppose he could have been lying."
Rock speaks up, confirming that Sildar is a member, and that he is as well.
Gundren appraises Rock. "I never did ask how you came to join this group, dragonborn. I know all of them from Neverwinter, but you're new to me."
HDP, echoing Ian's thoughts will say to Gundren "Best to at least be on our guard. We still dont know how the goblins knew where you would be. Caution would be wise."
Gruxx expression turns from a warm hopefully one of having two friends reunited to an anxious and cold one.
"Good thinking Ian... I was too trusting and did not think of a possible betrayal. We should not count anything out in this trying time. We will not lose you again Gundren."
Gundren, Ian, Herr Doktor, Rock and Gruxx enter the Townmaster's Hall. The same pixie of an elf maiden jumps to her feet from her small desk in the lobby. When she realizes who has entered, she looks almost giddy. "Oh! It's the saviors of Phandalin," she says happily. "You must be here to speak with the townmaster. You can go right on in. Through those doors and across the hall."
"I know the way," Gundren says not unkindly. He pushes through the double doors, across the hall, and through the next set of double doors into a kind of courtroom. He looks around and finds Sildar sitting behind a desk to the right. "Sildar," the dwarf says, turning to head toward the old soldier.
Sildar looks up. "Gundren!" he says happily. He looks past the dwarf at the party members. "Well, look who it is: my rescuers." He gives Rock a nod. "Cloak," he greets the dragonborn.
"Sildar, these adventures saved my life," Gundren says.
"They're good at that," Sildar says. "First me, then Mirna and her children, and now you. Who should they save next?" Sildar asks jovially.
Gundren, who doesn't look as jovial, shakes his head. "How did they know, Sildar? Why were they waiting for us?"
Sildar suddenly looks a bit alarmed. "I wondered that myself. Do you know who this Black Spider is?"
Glynquinal will make his way over to Barthen's pondering his new knowledge, and wondering how the town has fared since they helped fight off the band of Redbrands.
Rock will go find Gyln and the others
Glynquinal graciously accepts the coin. "Indeed Sister, this was the path I feel calling me. I will gladly sit down with you for as long as you are willing to learn what I can."

Rock, you leave the blacksmith and head south to try to find any of the others.
Glynquinal will accompany the Sister to her home, interested to learn what he may about the path of the Cleric.
Ian says to Barthen: “We we’re glad to help you. It wasn’t just us, it was a whole town effort”
Gruxx smiles at Barthen.
"The town has no place for thugs like them!" says Gruxx.
Glynquinal, the sister takes into her modest home, sits you down, and begins telling you all about Tymora. She will talk as long as you will listen, so I'll let you decide how much of the day you spend there.

Glynquinal will stay for a good 2 hours, before he excuses himself and heads out to find his friends, promising to return later to talk with her more.
OOC: Before I forget (again), everyone earns another 40 XP for saving Gundren and escorting him to Phandalin.
Ian says to Gundren as they walk "Gundren, how well do you know Sildar? I am just thinking, who all knew of your travels and your map? Gundren appraises Rock. "I never did ask how you came to join this group, dragonborn. I know all of them from Neverwinter, but you're new to me."
Glynquinal will start at Barthen's in the search for the rest of the party.as he needs to resupply his rations.
OOC: Rock can reply later if he desires to.

"Black Spider?" Gundren asks.
OOC (do I know SIladars rank?)
To Siladar"Sir"
To the rest "We still need to restock and hunt this Spider down and end him!"
Glynquinal will make his way over to Barthen's pondering his new knowledge, and wondering how the town has fared since they helped fight off the band of Redbrands.
Rock will show the blades to Glyn and ask if he thinks they would be of use to him?
"Friend Glyn, I have something to show you, I see you have found some comfort from you trouble of late, how fair you?
OOC The party is at the townhall right, with Glyn at or close to Barthen's?
OOC - Glyn, I believe you are correct. Rock, you cant really talk to Glyn right now...as he is on the other side of town at the moment...
