Rock, a healer's kit gets 10 uses. Do you really want two kits? If you want two kits, subtract 11 gp and 6 sp. If you just want one kit, subtract 6 gp and 6 sp. Then add the items you bought to your equipment.
Ian, subtract the proper amount and add your items to your equipment. When you bring up weapons, Barthen says to see Linene at the Lionshield Coster.
Gruxx, make your purchase.
Halia's look of stubbornness turns into a cheeky grin as you agree, Glynquinal. When you ask about the diamond worth 50 gp, she excuses herself and disappears through a door, returning after a minute or so with the same pouch you saw before. She walks to a counter and rolls out a piece of cloth, upon which she dumps two glittering rocks — the same two you saw before with the one you purchased. "This one," she says, pointing at what was the medium stone, "is 50 gold." She leans against the counter, the same cheeky grin on her face.
Glynquinal will push the small stone he'd previously purchased and the coin to make up the difference for the 50 GP. over to Halia. Taking the medium stone and looking at it he smiles.
TO Halia, "I wonder what sorts of entertainment I'll find with this? Only time will tell I think." Turning to go, "I thank you Halia. You are a wonderful individual."
Ian will make his purchase, pick up his weapons, and (seeing everyone is almost done with their purchases) will make his way quickly over to the Lionshield Coster. Walking in, he puts the 5 scimitars and 3 shortbows and 1 shortsword on the counter, asking "What is this worth to you? Would you trade me for anything? or perhaps melt them down and make something special a rogue like me might have a use for? Either a trade for a whip and a net, or even better, I would like a "Lionshield original", something sleek and hidden, something a rogue would love to have, whatever your imagination can come up with!
Glynquinal, prior to making your purchase, you remember that that particular uncut gem (the middle-size one) was originally 40 gp. The largest of the three (which is the size of a marble) was selling for 60 gp. Do you still want to buy the middle-size stone for 50 gp?
Glynquinal does not in fact wish to be swindled by Halia.
Looking over the stones Glynquinal frowns slightly. "Halia, the last time I looked at these stones, the medium stone was worth only 40 GP according to you, the smallest which I bought was 20 GP, and the largest was 60 GP." Leaning in slightly..."I find it displeasing to have someone do business in bad faith. I have a stone here that has a value of 20 GP, you have one that is worth 60 GP. I have enough coin to make up the difference. Will you make an honest deal....or will this matter need to be reported for Sildar to look into? I'd rather keep business between you and I, but had I left with the stone you tried to cheat me with, my friends might not have come back safely. It is that important."
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Halia pulls out a purse, counts out 10 gold and places the coins in a neat stack on the counter. Then, scooping up the three stones and dropping them in the pouch, she gives Glynquinal a satisfied smile. "You can talk to Townmaster Hallwinter all you wish. He has no control over what I charge for anything. Now, please leave. I need to close for the remainder of the day."
Ian leads Herr Doktor, Rock and Gruxx south to the Lionshield Coster after getting directions from Barthen. The quartet travels south past the Stonehill Inn, heading for the building west of the Townmaster's Hall. Hanging above the front door of this modest trading post is a sign shaped like a wooden shield with a blue lion painted on it.
Picking up his stone and his coins, Glynquinal takes a much more direct attitude. "I'll gladly leave. Keep your coin. I don't enjoy dealing with worthless thieves masquerading as legitimate merchants."Should goblins come calling on your shop, don't bother calling us."
Now thoroughly irritated, he leave for Barthen's to pick up what few supplies he needs before leaving.
I will repeat here what Ian said earlier and continue that conversation
Walking in and introducing himself, Ian puts the 5 scimitars and 3 shortbows and 1 shortsword on the counter, asking "What is this worth to you? Either a trade for a whip and a net, or even better, I would like a "Lionshield original", something sleek and hidden, something a rogue would love to have, whatever your imagination can come up with!
Also, your trademark looks familiar. Have you either been supplying goblins, or perhaps had your shipments gone missing? My companions and I have seen several boxes with your mark on them at a goblin hideout not far out of town.
As the party of four enters the coster, a tiny bell attached to the door jingles. The group finds a spacious lodge that is largely empty. Several rooms are open to each other, but there are more that are closed off by walls or doors further on. The building is mostly open and lit by large windows, but quite barren. It takes a little bit of waiting, but a middle-aged woman finally appears from a side room, bustling into the open area hastily and a bit fussily. "I'm coming, I'm coming," she says. She removes an apron from around her waist, and as she passes by a window, she drops the ball of fabric onto the sill. Stopping in front of the visitors, she places her hands on her hips and eyes them. "Well? What do you want?"

The woman begins inspecting the weapons as Ian prattles on, but at the question about shipments going missing, she looks sharply at the elf. "Yes!" she exclaims. "I have had several shipments go missing. You say you saw some boxes with the coster logo on them? At a 'goblin hideout'?" She looks again at the weapons. "Are these from those boxes?"
Ian responding: No, these items were lifted off of the goblin-folk, probably the ones that stole your shipment. We found several boxes. Not sure how many, but definitely more than one. How much are you missing?
"I haven't received a shipment in months," she says, forgetting the weapons. "Where did you see them? Are they close by? I'm about to have to close up shop because I haven't been receiving any new items." She motions toward the mostly empty building.
Glynquinal, you enter Barthen's. The old man is happy to greet you again, saying you just missed your friends.
Glynquinal smiles at the man, "I might be just a bit behind them, but it is good to see a kind face. I need 6 days worth of rations, and a small bit of flour if you have it."
Ian responding: They are at a cave a ways off, maybe a half a day's travel (guessing, not sure...), and there were goblins and a bugbear there. They likely ambushed your shipments, keeping your supplies for themselves. I am sorry you have had to deal with this. Oh...by the way, I dont believe I caught your name. I am Ian. I would hate for you to have to close up shop. Is there anything you can do with these items (he motions to the things laid before her)? Or perhaps we can come to an arrangement? Maybe my friends and I could retrieve your missing shipments and return them to you in exchange for some work done...maybe a few original items?

Glynquinal, make an INT check, please.

DM rollz: Ian: 21, Rock: 10, Herr Doktor: 10, Gruxx: 0
Ian and Rock:
You recognize the blue lion emblem as the same logo that was on most of the sacks and crates in the goblin caves where you rescued Sildar.
If you want to review the posts, the first time they were mentioned was on Jan. 19, 2019.

Gruxx doesn't say a word but enters the Lionshield Coster.
He browses the wares but is mainly there to back up Ian if it's needed
Rock having what he needs at the time will just walk with Ian ready for fun and games!
