You extend your hand holding the silver comb. The ghostly figure smiles as her eyes take in the object. She slowly reaches out and takes the comb from your hand. Do you resist?
Agatha wraps both long-fingered hands around the comb and grins at Glynquinal. "I traded the book to a necromancer named Tsernoth from the city of Iriaebor more than a hundred years ago. Where it is now ... " She shrugs. "Your guess is as good as mine. Now, be gone." There is a bright flash, and as everyone's eyes recover, they find the dome empty. Agatha and all her things have disappeared.
Ian shakes his head, blinks his eyes "that was weird. What do you make of that Glyn? We come all this way, and she doesnt even have the book? and she didnt even bother to say good bye. how rude."
Ian, after not finding anything, and feeling a bit disappointed, turns to Glyn: "Well, what now Glyn? Is that the meeting you hoped for? Do we return with very little information for the Sister? Do we try and find more about Tsernoth and Iriaebor? Or do we just go fight some orcs (which I think was the other thing we were looking into, is that right? Wyvern Tor orcs?)
Glynquinal to the party, "It was the meeting we needed. Whether or not it was enough information I don't know yet. I'd have to sit down with the Sister and find out. If Gruxx feels the need to smash something between now and then I wouldn't object. Who k ows what we might find along the way?"
Ian says "Then we are agreed. Lets get out of this spooky place before that ghoul returns" and Ian (and HDP) will make his way out of the area, back to the cart, ready to see what adventures await them.
Glynquinal to Rock, "So be it. The Sister has waited some time for the information we got, a few more days won't matter. Which way to Wyvern Tor Gruxx?"
Gruxx looks toward the sun the scans his surroundings.
”This way” says Gruxx as he leads to the group toward Wyvern Tor.
Outlander
Feature: Wanderer
You have an excellent memory for maps and geography, and you can always recall the general layout of terrain, settlements, and other features around you. In addition, you can find food and fresh water for yourself and up to five other people each day, provided that the land offers berries, small game, water, and so forth.
LOL I'm not sure you've seen a map with Wyvern Tor on it, but we'll say (whether it happened or not) that you asked for directions. The way is back through Conyberry and then south-southeast almost to the Sword Mountains.
The party loads up on the wagon and guides it back through the narrow passage out of the Neverwinter Wood to Conyberry. There is no path, so you prepare to go "off roading" when three goblins step out from behind some of the ruins, blocking your path. They wield scimitars and snarl at the party. Someone in the back of the wagon hears something from behind and looks to see three more gobbos approaching from the back, also armed with scimitars.
You extend your hand holding the silver comb. The ghostly figure smiles as her eyes take in the object. She slowly reaches out and takes the comb from your hand. Do you resist?
Glynquinal freely offers the comb as a gift.
Everyone earns another 40 XP.
Glynquinal blinks from the flash. "Well, that was interesting. I would have liked to talk with her again."
Ian shakes his head, blinks his eyes "that was weird. What do you make of that Glyn? We come all this way, and she doesnt even have the book? and she didnt even bother to say good bye. how rude."
Gruxx breathes a sigh of relief.
"I'm glad ya'll handled with that so well. I did not want to try to battle her."
Where to now?
HDP looks around, a bit bewildered. He is at a bit of a loss as to what to do, since this creature wasnt that helpful.
Well, she didnt give us much. Anyone ever heard of a necromancer named Tsernoth or the city of Iriaebor?
History: 9
Ian, dissatisfied with the response of the mysterious creature, pokes around the space to see if anything was left behind

Gruxx pipes up!
”I like the fighting Orcs idea!”
Glynquinal to the party, "It was the meeting we needed. Whether or not it was enough information I don't know yet. I'd have to sit down with the Sister and find out. If Gruxx feels the need to smash something between now and then I wouldn't object. Who k ows what we might find along the way?"

Remember that the other task in this area was the information about orc raids in the area near Wyvern Tor.
"So we're off to Wyvern Tor?"
Glynquinal to Rock, "So be it. The Sister has waited some time for the information we got, a few more days won't matter. Which way to Wyvern Tor Gruxx?"
