If there is a moment before the fighting breaks out, Herr Doktor will attempt a diplomatic solution. He calls out: Hail, and well met, my diminutive green friends. To what do we owe this inconvenience? We are traveling along this road, free and clear. What seems to be the problem? Do you need help sharpening your scimitars? I know a very good blacksmith...
I know it inconveniences Ian, but based on his initiative score, I would like to say that he is laying in the back of the wagon (prone). He was enjoying HDP's latest ballad he was practicing while they traveled. It was a meandering, somber tune that reminded him of home. He was probably about to drift off when the music stopped, and HDP snapped up and address the goblins. So, thats why he acts last in the initiative, and he would have to use half his movement to stand up. I think that makes sense, in fiction.

Round 1: HDP, Rock, Glyn, Gruxx & goblins, Ian
Herr Doktor calls out: "Hail, and well met, my diminutive green friends. To what do we owe this inconvenience? We are traveling along this road, free and clear. What seems to be the problem? Do you need help sharpening your scimitars? I know a very good blacksmith..."
Ignoring the bard's attempt at diplomacy, Rock says to his fellow barbarian, "Gruxx, you take the one on your side I will take the one on my side we will meet in the middle!" Leaping off the front of the wagon and raging, he comes down on the right side and swings his axe at the nearest goblin (3), wounding the creature, but not taking it out (-5 hp).
Glynquinal moves from the left side of the cart to the rear, keeping the cart at his back as he draws his short swords.
Glynquinal will strike if any Goblins come in range, but will give Herr Doktor whatever chance he may yet have. Glynquinal will tower over tne diminitive foes and look mean for the moment.
Glynquinal moves from the left side of the cart to the rear, keeping the cart at his back as he draws his short swords. He doesn't attack, but looks threateningly at the goblins at the rear.
“Praise Tempus! Just what we wanted!” Gruxx shouts with glee as he drops the reins and takes up arms on the side Rock commanded.
Gruxx, if you are attacking, go ahead and roll. If not, let me know you're waiting or holding an action or whatever.

All six goblins attack!
The creature Rock attacked attacks back (scimitar attack: 19, damage: 5 slashing damage), but the dragonborn easily deflects the attack from the wounded goblin.
The creature in front of Gruxx steps forward to attack the human. In response, the barbarian brings his glaive to bear before the goblin is even close enough to attack. However, the small creature is nimble on its feet and dodges Gruxx's attack. Once in range, it swings its scimitar. (scimitar attack: 15, damage: 4 slashing damage) Still in the process of his back swing, Gruxx is unable to dodge the attack and takes a small amount of damage. (-4 hp)
The goblin between those two decides to help his wounded friend and steps forward to also attack Rock. (scimitar attack: 17, damage: 4 slashing damage) The dragonborn is too busy deflecting the first attack to avoid the second, and the barbarian takes some damage, but it is reduced by his rage. (-4 hp)
The three goblins in back all move toward Glynquinal.
Ian will stand, holding his crossbow, in the back of the cart. From that vantage point, he will fire at the one engaged in melee with Glyn, then use his cunning action to duck back down for cover.

HDP, seeing his words fall on deaf ears, will cast Faerie Fire on the set of goblins closer to Gruxx, positioning it in such a way as to get all the goblins on that side affected, without affecting Gruxx. Goblins need to roll DC-13 DEX save, or be illuminated in glowing light, and attacks against an affected creature have ADVANTAGE for the next minute!

As the rear goblins approach, Glynquinal quickly gets an attack in, wounding one of the goblins (g4 -7 hp). All three then swing at the elf. (scimitar attack #1: 16, damage: 4 slashing damage; scimitar attack #2: 20, damage: 6 slashing damage; scimitar attack #3: 20, damage: 4 slashing damage) True to his word, Glynquinal dances out of the way of all three blades, almost laughing as he does so.
Ian stands and fires at (1=4, 2=5, 3=6: 1), using its engagement with Glynquinal as a distraction. The arrow skewers the creature through the top of the head, making an awful squelching noise and dropping it in one shot.

Glynquinal smiles as Ian's arrow ends one of the three in front of him. Taking a good stance he slashes at each of the two remaining Goblins at the rear of the wagon.
On the other side of the wagon, Glynquinal is not having as much luck. It seems three on one has him fumbling a little. He swings twice at one of the goblins, but both attacks glance off the creature's crude armor.

Gruxx swings back at the goblin that hit him, his blood pounding in his barbarian ears. The glaive slices across the creatures torso from shoulder to hip, leaving behind a huge, mortal wound. Despite his own warning to spare one creature, the human dispatches the one before him.
The final goblin at the front of the wagon swings at Rock again (scimitar attack: 7, damage: 5 slashing damage), but the dragonborn parries the attack easily enough.
The two remaining goblins at the back of the wagon both swing at Glynquinal. (scimitar attack: 5, damage: 7 slashing damage; scimitar attack: 19, damage: 7 slashing damage) Feeling a little overconfident, the elf leaves himself open to both attacks, though neither does much damage. (-6 hp)
