Glynquinal takes a short hike through the woods, allowing his ears to guide him to a small, swift stream. The water is cool, clear and refreshing. As he is sampling the liquid, he hears a twig snap, and he looks upstream to see a fox lapping at the water.
Glynquinal notices a Fox farther downstream and watches it for a minute. He fills up his waterskins that had been very low and enjoys a good long drink from the stream before returning to the camp. Hearing Rock claim the second watch, he decides to back him up.
To Rock, "I'll stand the second watch with you Rock. I have an idea that might help us out."
To the rest of the party. "There's a good stream not far away. Some small wildlife around if you care to do any hunting Gruxx."
His perception shouldn't have been at disadvantage, so the first roll stands.
The first two watches go off uneventfully. The third watch, however, is not so bland. Herr Doktor does his best to keep watch, but as the hold adage goes, it's always darkest before dawn. Every shadow looks ominous. Ever sound is something creeping just out of sight. The slight wind and cloudy night turn the trees into giant, lurking beasts. (attack: 24; damage: 8 slashing damage) When the blow comes from behind, Herr Doktor jumps out of fright just as much as from the pain. He glances behind him to see a scowling goblin face. There is suddenly a war cry from Herr Doktor's attacker, then another, then more voices around the party, waking the rest up.

Round 2: Glyn (prone), Gruxx (prone), Rock (prone), goblins, HDP (prone), Ian (prone)
Sorry to do this to you again, but it's another night battle. Those without darkvision can only see about 10 feet away, though you can hear further away than that.
Glynquinal, realizing Gruxx will be at a disadvantage in the dark, rolls so he can draw out a firefly from his component pouch. Speaking quietly an arcane enchantment he touches the pommel of one of his daggers and casts Light. Rising up from Prone (spending 15 feet of movement) he will take that dagger and throw it at the Black Goblin at Q12.
Glynquinal to the Goblins, "You should have quit while you had a chance to live."
If I can stick that Goblin close to Herr Doktor, the pommel should light up the fight nicely for Gruxx.
OOC: Until the spell ends, the object sheds bright light in a 20-foot radius and dim light for an additional 20 feet. The light can be colored as you like.
In this case The light will be a vibrant purple light.
Glynquinal will then move to occupy O10 using (his remaining 15 feet of movement).
Glyquinal, casting light is an action, which means you wouldn't also be able to attack. You can only attack with a light weapon as a bonus action if you attack with a light weapon as your action.
OOC, Well, it was worth a try as a Bonus Action, and the Light on the dagger still helps those that can't see even it it makes Glynquinal more vulnerable for a bit. It can always be thrown next round, and the movement still positions him to help Herr Doktor if needed.
Glynquinal will still use his Action to cast Light on his dagger, and ready it for the next round. He will occupy O 10 for his movement, after spending 15 feet to get up from prone.
Glynquinal jumps to his feet and casts light on one of his daggers, illuminating just about the whole clearing. Gruxx and Rock can now clearly see three goblins in the southeast. He then moves to back up Herr Doktor.
Gruxx gets to his feet and moves south toward the (orange) goblin.
Rock, you're up! Remember that you'll use half your movement to stand.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
The (black) goblin swings again at Herr Doktor. (scimitar attack: 15, damage: 4 slashing damage— forgot to roll with advantage: 14) Herr Doktor attempts to deflect the second goblin attack, but his prone position keeps him from being as dexterous as normal, and the scimitar catches his arm, leaving a small gash. The bard is on his last legs!
The (orange) goblin moves to meet Gruxx, who swings and catches the small creature off guard with the long reach of his glaive. The barbarian cuts down the goblin dead.
The (green) goblin moves to attack Ian. (scimitar attack: 23, damage: 3 slashing damage) Ian rolls out of the way, and the creature's blade simply cuts into the grass.
An arrow soars through the air, launched from the north side of the large rock in the northwest of the campsite, toward Ian. (shortbow attack: 19, damage: 5 piercing damage) Ian moves in time, and the arrow lands where he just was.
A second arrow string twangs on the south side of the large rock. This arrow is aimed at Rock. (shortbow attack: 9, damage: 7 piercing damage) The projectile hits, but the barbarian's rage reduces the damage to a pittance.
As a free action, Ian says loudly to the group There are more that we cannot see. Those arrows are coming from the North. Find cover if you can.
HDP will stand, bleeding, and despite feeling beaten, he musters every ounce of courage he has, and lunges at the (black) goblin with his rapier.
rapier attack: 20
damage: 8
HDP will use his bonus action to cast Bardic Inspiration, as he remembers an old poem about a night battle against goblins and he utters it aloud for his party to hear (Sorry, I am not clever enought to come up with actual poetry!)
Glyn, you now have a 1d6 inspiration die! (For 10 minutes, you can add it to one ability check, attack roll, or saving throw. This can be added after seeing the roll, but before knowing the outcome.)
Ian will stand up, and attack the (green) goblin with his rapier
rapier attack: 13
damage: 9
Ian uses his bonus action to Disengage, and use the remainder of his movement to seek any kind of cover he can find in the bush/tree at M3
Herr Doktor stands and lunges at the (black) goblin, skewering the creature, who blinks back at the elf dumbfounded. As the bard withdraws his blade, the goblin spits up blood. It is still standing, but just barely. Herr Doktor then inspires Glynquinal.
Ian stands and swings his own blade at the (green) goblin. Unfortunately, the creature is too nimble and dodges the attack. The rogue then disengages and moves (M3), seeking shelter within the bush on the northern side of the clearing.
Round 3: Glyn (inspired), Gruxx, Rock (rage), goblins, HDP, Ian
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Drawing the dagger from the Black Goblin, Glynquinal much taller than the Wood Elf turns and throws the same dagger at the Green Goblin at P7
Dagger 1 to hit 6
Damage for dagger 1 5
Not waiting to see if the dagger hits, Glynquinal then heads for the south end of the large rock to try and end one of the hidden archers occupying M13.

So, that leaves HDP on third watch.
