Glynquinal peers over Ian's shoulder keeping an eye on their prisoner, and listens to all three. To the others gathered, "He may be telling the truth, but remember the path in to Klarg's cave? Filed with traps. I'll honor my word to turn him free, but he's going to have to lead us there first in my opinion to earn his life."
Glynquinal looks at each of the party in turn, "It seems we are decided then."
Helping the smaller creature to his feet Glynquinal approaches the last Goblin and informs him of the direction the party is taking, "We think there may will be traps along the path you would send us. There may be other dangers we are unaware of. For those reasons our contract with you is this. You will lead us to a point within sight of the castle without causing us trouble, or giving us away to anyone along the way. Once we are there, you will be released unharmed to go where you will. Understand that should we cross paths again, your life will be forfeit. If the terms are agreeable, we should get moving. What name do you go by?"
The goblin bites its lip as it thinks about Glynquinal's words. "You let me — let Rhakakuul go when you see castle?" He looks at each face and finally nods. "I take there. Then you let go. They no see Rhakakuul. Rhakakuul run away. OK. Go now?"
Glynquinal replies to the Goblin, "Yes Rhakakuul, when we are close enough to see the castle you told us about, you are free to go. That is our contract."
Shifting his pack into a more comfortable position after retrieving his still well lit dagger. Dismissing the spell, he tucks it back in the sheath and motions for the Goblin to lead on.
DM's reminder: You all have not finished your long rest. You can roll hit dice for a short rest, but you will incur a point of exhaustion if you don't finish your long rest.
OOC: thanks for the reminder. That might have incurred some suck factor.
Glynquinal to Ian, "We should probably rest for at least a short time before we push on. I'll take the first watch if you will take the second so we can keep an eye on our Goblin cohort here."
The rest of the night goes by without incident. Rhakakuul seems a little put out that everyone decides to go to bed when it's clearly ready to go, but it plops down to wait. The creature does doze off after about an hour from boredom. At first light, the party wakes and gets ready to go. Rhakakuul is surprisingly pleasant. It mentions several times how hungry it is. (Does anyone offer it food?)
When everyone is ready, you all head mostly west, but a little north. The woods are dense and cool. After almost an hour, Rhakakuul falls face first. The goblin rolls over awkwardly because its hands are bound behind its back. It has a bloody nose.
Glynquinal to Gruxx, "When we stop again if there is an opportunity to hunt it would be a good idea. I used teh last ration I had today, adn we may have a good distance to go in the next coming days."
Rhakakuul is thankful for the food and also for its hands being tied in front. When Herr Doktor asks about its name, the goblin looks back at him with a confused look on its face. "Rhakakuul is what I am called. I know not why."
The rest of the hike passes uneventfully. In the brightest part of the day, the goblin starts to slow and makes a motion for Glynquinal to step up beside it. The goblin looks ahead and Glynquinal at first doesn't see anything, but then realizes he's seeing not more trees in the near distance but a structure on a mesa. It's hard to make out much detail from this distance.
"No traps." It pauses. "I don't think. Only been here once." The goblin points. "Three ways in. There," it points straight ahead. "Over there," it points to the left. "One on other side."
Rhakakuul seems to be giving an honest assessment of what he knows, and Glynquinal is satisfied with the results. Being cautions he will remain on the alert for any traps along the way.
To the rest of the party Glynquinal offers, "Gentlemen, it would seem the contract is fulfilled. Having given my word on his safe release assuming the contract was fulfilled, I'm all right with turning him loose. What say the rest of you?"

Ian to the group Agreed.

HDP and Gruxx:
Rhakakuul is the goblin word for banana.
OOC: thanks for the reminder. That might have incurred some suck factor.
Glynquinal to Ian, "We should probably rest for at least a short time before we push on. I'll take the first watch if you will take the second so we can keep an eye on our Goblin cohort here."
Gruxx sits down to begin the rest.
"Let's get some shut eye. I'm ready to take this castle for ourselves." says Graxx.
Ian to Glyn I will keep watch.
During his watch, Ian will keep a loaded cross bow pointed at the Goblin, just in case.
HDP snickers when he hears Rhakakuul's name.
Loading his crossbow Glynquinal sits down to relax a little gracious for his friend's offer to take the watch.
"I will watch with Ian"
Perception 21
HDP will keep watch with Glyn.

Glynquinal will share his last ration, and retie Rhakakuu's hand in front so he can eat. He will also tend his wound to stop the bleeding.
To Rhakakuul, Glynquinal offers, "We are hard souls that hold those that would harm others accountable, but we are not unkind."
HDP, probably the kindest of the group, will offer a bit of food to share with the Goblin, since he understands his language.
HDP to RHakakull, as they continue walking Why did you get the name Rhakakull?
