OOC (What if anything was found on the Yellow goblin's body) Glynquinal flinches hearing the goblin's words. Understanding how it is to be treated as though he was beneath others, and hearing that come from their beaten foe, and idea fills his head. 'If the goblins are struggling to survive, and using that as an excuse to waylay travelers moving along the Triboar Road, perhaps there is a way to end that threat and help them out.'
Finishing up the grave digging of the goblin he killed, Glynquinal counts out 10 Silver pieces of his own trading them for the copper pieces he found., putting them back in one of his pockets. Gently he lays the goblin in the earth, and quietly saying a prayer that none can hear, he covers the goblin with the soft earth. Once done he will approach the cart again.
To the orange Goblin, Glynquinal says, "I noticed you fought well. The ambush was well laid too. While two of you didn't make it, two did. If you help us to avoid more traps like this, I would be willing to speak up for you when we get to where we are going. This road could stand to be protected so no trouble comes to shipments, or travelers. You and your friends have the skills to offer that protection it seems, if you would be willing to work for it. It might not pay much, but it would provide for you and yours without the need to ambush anyone else."
Looking over the orange goblin carefully trying to gauge his reaction, Glynquinal waits for a response.

Ian will collect the things he found on the Blue Goblin, then attempt to drag/carry him back to the wagon (strength 0). After dropping the goblin next to the wagon, he will sheath his daggers, grab his bow from the wagon, go grab his rapier from near the dead horses, then go off to find the red goblin and search the body for anything of value.
After that, Ian would like to go survey the horses, and see if he can deduce/find anything of value.
Gruxx stares at the goblin after the round ears comment. "Now. Don't go own mistakin' my kindness for weakness. You fought alright but here you are defeated. It is about victory, not who fights the best."
Gruxx will withdraw his Handaxe"Since it seems like you don't take kindly to people being nice to ya' we can always go the other way. Lucky for you, Tempus does not allow me to torture pool souls like yourself. It's either life or death, no in between. Your friend is stabilized so we no longer need you. If you make one more comment out of line or try to run I will bury this axe in that green skull of yours. The choice is yours, I really don't care. I've tried to be nice and I do not lie. Now tell us what we want to know. Where is your clan?"
"I've saved the life of your comrade," the Herr Doktor Professor tells the goblin. "He should be up and about in a few hours."
He walks to the wagon, his rapier still drawn.
"And do not play at being a victim. I reserve my sympathy for YOUR victims, such as the wagon crew you must have ambushed before us. These dead horses did not materialize from the air. These animals would have been useful to you, but you obviously killed them in order to stop another wagon or caravan. What happened to the people in that wagon? Did you kill them all, or were some captured? And if the latter, where were they and the wagon taken?
"If you will speak again, you had better have answers to our questions."

OOC: You guys are awesome.
OOC2: Glynquinal, Yellow has on it a scimitar, a shortbow, 11 arrows, two pieces of dried meat (four pieces of meat equal one ration), and 15 copper pieces.
The (orange) goblin watches Glynquinal bury its fellow goblin. When the elf approaches, the (orange) goblin listens to his short speech. As he finishes his very kind offering, the goblin barks a laugh. "We do not need your pity, leaf licker. Yeemik takes care of us. And Klarg. And King Grol. We don't need your charity."
Red has on it a scimitar, a shortbow, 9 arrows, two pieces of dried meat (four pieces of meat equal one ration), and 9 copper pieces.
Ian looks over the two horses. They are dead — most likely because of the many arrows protruding from their hides. They were dragged to the locations where they now lie. The saddle bags have been rummaged through. He also notices an empty leather map case lying nearby.
Glynquinal eyes narrow slightly at the tone the orange goblin takes. Trying to offer a way to better his station and hearing his reaction irritates him greatly. He made the offer of help because he wished that someone in a position to help had made him a similar offer before. Any charity or empathy he had felt vanished in an instant.
Glynquinal angles his head first toward Gruxx, then Herr Doktor Professor and says, "I had to try and help this one, but he's too stupid to see that. I would have given some care how we deal with him, but if he wants to think he's all hard and needs no helping hand, you two can deal with him as you want. I won't lift a finger to help him now."
Glynquinal stuffs the scimitar and scabbard into his belt on one side, and the other arrows into his quiver on his back. The silver he found, goes into a pocket. Glynquinal does not regret having buried the goblin with some silver of his own, not wanting to die with no name, no deeds to remember him by, and broke.
"Who here is hurt the most?", Glynquinal asks. " I can wait a bit is someone else needs the help more than I do to get some healing." Sitting down on the wagon after gingerly removing one arrow, followed by the other two he rests against the side of the wagon.
Ian will gather the spoils of battle, 2 scimitars, 2 shortbows, 24 arrows, 4 pieces of dried meat, and 23 copper pieces (not including what Glynquenal found) and put it all in the wagon, save the arrows which he adds to his quiver.
He also looks over the empty saddlebags and map case to see if there is any indication who they belong to.

Opposing CHA roll: 4
The goblin cowers at Gruxx's threat. Looking all the more angry, he responds, "We have a hideout north of here." Still eyeing Gruxx, he responds to Herr Doktor, "The human and the dwarf were taken to Klarg. I don't know what will happen to them. We were just told to capture the dwarf. There was no wagon; they were riding on the horses."
Ian's investigation of the horses seems to corroborate the story: It appears the horses were taken down. He looks about and sees what could be evidence of a struggle. One of the looted bags might be the one Gundren had at the Bard.
Ian, as you're looking about, you spot a trail hidden behind thickets on the north side of the road leads northwest. You also can see that about a dozen goblins have come and gone along the trail, as well as signs of two human-sized bodies being hauled away from the ambush site.
The Herr Doktor Professor is uncharacteristically silent. He believed that the goblins had raided another wagon or caravan. It slowly dawns on him that the goblins might have taken his friend and employer, the dwarf Gundren, who was also travelling down this road.
Filled with grim determination, he resolves to follow his friends to try to rescue this unfortunate dwarf and human.
"Tell us who this Klarg, Yeemik, and King Grol are," he says to the goblin. "Are they goblins such as yourself?"
Ian calls to Glenquenal I found a trail. Looks fresh. Lets bring those goblins and get after their crew. The sooner we go, the more likely their captives are alive. Ian grabs all the equipment from the wagon he might need, and gets ready to go after the trail.
OOC, Can we bring the wagon? should we bring the wagon? will something happen if we leave it?
Lets bring those goblins, maybe gag them, so we could perhaps use them to barter with.
Glynquinal signs to Ian in Thieves Cant. You and I could do it faster and quieter perhaps but we aren't at full health. We can bring the goblins along, but they would give us away any chance they got, and slow us down. If we track them stealthy, perhaps we could do a quick scout to see what the situation is. I haven't used my healing potion yet. I could use it later if it comes to that. We need to get that wagon to Phandelver before something else happens to it. We should ask the other two about this
Glynquinal asks Herr Doktor Professor, Gruxx, "Herr Doktor, Gruxx, what say you? We need to make the delivery, but the two that were taken won't survive long in goblin hands."
"We should try to rescue those taken by the goblins," the Herr Doktor Professor says.
"But perhaps we can take a short rest first, to heal up before facing the goblins anew."
(If we take a short rest, we can heal up by rolling our hit die, I think. That should get us back to fighting shape, as long as it doesn't take too long -- anyone know how long a short rest takes? If time is of the essence, though, we can drink up the healing potions.)
“Agreed. We should rest about an hour or so” Gruxx says in common, “We are no good to anyone if we are dead. Too risky to take these goblins with us. It’s gonna be a hard fight takin’ it to them on their land.”
“We need to get this cart off the road and hidden from any passerby’s.”
Gruxx turns to the goblin that is sitting on cart . “You did what I asked of ya and answered the question. If I was gonna kill you I would do it now. You were followin’ your chieftains orders. I know how that is.”
Gruxx his handaxe back on his belt.
Gruxx, “As a veteran fighter I know you understand that we c’aint let you go yet and risk you runnin’ oft to warn your pals. You will be bound now and untied when we get back.”
Gruxx would now like to bind the Goblin unless there is resistance.
Looking at the goblins, Glynquinal frowns at the thought of leaving them, even tied up with a wagon loaded with goods they were entrusted to.
Glynquinal asks his friends, "Hmm, what are the odds these sneaky little buggers would work their way free, and steal the wagon, oxen, and the cart long before we came back?"
Ian says You guys can do what you want. I agree we need a short rest, and I dont trust these goblins. You promised them you would leave their limbs in tact, and we dont have to kill them. Lets take them with us, march them along the path so we can find their clan, gag them so they cant warn anybody, and at some point we can tie them to a tree, and let nature take its course.
Ian will take a short rest.

Ian's survival 21
The goblin looks disgusted. "This morning."
