The Herr Doktor Professor moves 25 feet to K12. Realizing that the party is facing goblins, he makes an obscene gesture at the blue goblin in T5, trying to draw its fire away from his comrades. Speaking in the guttural goblinoid language, he tells the goblin that its mother engaged in sexual congress with gibbering mouthers, and that its father was an otyugh.
Action: Cast Vicious Mockery on goblin in T5. If it fails its save, it will take 3 points of damage and have disadvantage on its next attack.

Seeing Grux battling another goblin, the Herr Doktor Professor tries to rally his warrior's spirit.
"Fight in honor of the great barbarian kings, Grux!" he shouts. "Swing your glaive in honor of Kull, Conan, and Bran Mak Morn!"
Bonus Action: HDP uses bardic inspiration on Grux. If Grux makes an attack or skill roll within the next 10 minutes, he can add 2 to his roll.
The Herr Doktor Professor then uses his last 5 feet of movement to retreat to J12, so the oxen will provide him cover if the blue goblin fires in his direction.
OOC: Herr Doktor and Gruxx: Gruxx will determine when he uses the bardic inspiration and will roll the extra d6 at that point. Like Herr Doktor said, Gruxx, you can use it to enhance one ability check, attack roll, or saving throw that you feel might not be high enough succeed. This can be added after seeing the roll, but before knowing the outcome, meaning you can't wait until after I say, "Sorry, you didn't make it," to say you want to roll it.
The (blue) goblin fires another arrow at Gruxx. (Attack: 10; damage: 2 piercing damage) The arrow sails past Gruxx.
The (orange) goblin drops his shortbow and draws his scimitar and swings at Gruxx. (Attack: 12) The barbarian blocks the blow with his forearm.
Likewise, the (yellow) goblin drops his shortbow and draws his scimitar and swings at Glynquinal. (Attack: 19; damage: 2 slashing damage) The elf is unable to dodge the attack and is sliced across his ribs, but it is a fairly minor cut.
I would like to try a sweet double team on yellow when it is our turn, since we seem to be going at the same time in the initiative lineup. Can we do that? Like we both simultaneously stab him, you with your shortsword and me with my rapier for an awesome "movie" moment, then we both slash with our dagger's with the bonus action. I can picture it in my head, and perhaps DDP will give us a sweet narration of how it plays out (sweet stabs and slashes, beheading, who knows...)
Glynquinal seeing Ian move into position on the other side of the one that likely put an arrow into him as well, as slashing at him with a sword give the wood elf a sly wink. With both short sword and dagger at the ready, he feints to one side then quickly employs his short sword at the yellow goblin, following up when he sees Ian doing the same, with his dagger.
Short sword to hit 18
Damage for short sword 9
Dagger 1 to hit 16
Damage for dagger 1 2
After his attack, Glynquinal will move to F9 to take what cover he can from the wagon (assuming the yellow goblin is now laying on the ground dead)
Ian, catching Glynquinal's wink simultaneously stabs with his rapier, and follows it up with his dagger for a double team slash and stab attack
Rapier to hit 19
rapier damage 10
sneak attack damage because of Glenquenal's proximity to the target 2
dagger 18
damage 1
DDP, please educate, the bonus attack with dagger - it does not get the +3 modifier correct? and it doesnt get sneak attack damage?
If Yellow Goblin goes down after the attack, Ian will run to O-10, and duck as low as he can to try and gain cover behind the dead horse (if he is unable to get cover, he will voluntarily go prone behind the horse)
If yellow Goblin does not go down, Ian will stay put.
Gruxx swings his glaive again, and the (orange) goblin parries the blow with his scimitar. Despite the size difference, these two appear to be well-matched.
Glynquinal moves in directly behind the (yellow) goblin opposite Ian. The creature looks back and forth between the elves. It finally decides to raise its scimitar against Ian, but the twin rogues act in unison, thrusting shortsword and rapier forward and into the goblin's chest and back. The points of both protrude from the opposite sides. For good measure, and with a look shared between them that speaks volumes, Ian and Glynquinal move quick as a flash with their opposing off hands and slice across the two sides of the creature's neck. As blood begins to pour, they withdraw their blades, allowing the goblin to slump to the bed reddening leaves and dirt. They then move in unison, Glyquinal to the northwest corner of the cart, Ian to lie down behind the horses.
OOC: You don't add the damage modifier to offhand (bonus) attacks. You can apply the sneak attack damage to either the attack or bonus, so long as both attacks are aimed at a foe that is either surprised by your attack or a friendly character is within 5 feet of them.
Round 3: Herr Doktor, Blue (injured), Orange, Gruxx, Ian (prone) & Glynquinal - Ian and Glynquinal go at the same time
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Still hurling insults at the goblin, he casts Vicious Mockery again, hoping this time the insults will stick and cause psychic damage to the blue goblin.
Action: Cast Vicious Mockery. If the goblin fails its save, it takes 2 points of damage and disadvantage on its next attack roll.
OOC: Herr Doktor, a horse's carcass would be difficult to step over. I'd say with your 30 feet, you could move to P10 with no difficulty. If you want to get to P9, you'd need to go over the horse, and I'll ask you to make an athletics or acrobatics check (your choice). I would normally just go ahead and do this, but since you might be just as happy with P10, I'll give you the choice.
OOC: Way to be brave. I'm glad you were able to get such a good result from it.
Realizing that Ian is wounded, the Herr Doktor Professor decides to run interference. He moves east a little past the elf, deftly leaping over the corpse of the north horse and landing with his feet straddling the horse's legs with what appears to be practiced grace. Perhaps this bard has a few dance steps under his belt. Using the momentum of his movement to fuel his silky voice, Herr Doktor continues hurling insults at the (blue) goblin, hoping this time the insults will stick and inflict mental anguish on the goblin.
The (blue) goblin turns to look the bard, his eyes narrowing to slits. He raises his shortbow and fires at the half-elf. (Attack: 7; damage: 7) The goblin's anger at the insults being thrown at it seems to have steadied its hand. The arrow cuts across Herr Doktor's shoulder, leaving a nice gash behind.
The (orange) goblin once again swings at Gruxx with its scimitar. (Attack: 10) Once again, Gruxx blocks the attack.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Ian, laying next to a dead, stinking horse corpse, suddenly remembers he dropped his shortbow on the wagon. While laying there, he has some time to think. He wonders why this merry band of goblins decided to ambush them; they cant just be a merry band of thieves operating with the goblin version of robin hood. Ian will stand (using half his movement speed) drop his rapier, and draw his other dagger, and run towards the Blue Goblin (from O-10 to P-10, to Q-9, to R-8) and throw both of his daggers at the Blue Goblin (ideally would be able to drop him to 0 hit points, then be able to tie him up and ask him why they were ambushed).
Dagger 1:17
Damage:6
Dagger 2:8
Damage:5
If he does incapacitate the goblin, awesome, if not....well, cross that bridge when we come to it.
Seeing Gruxx having his hands full Glynquinal will use his Movement to rush from F9 to L11. For his action he will Dash from L11 to R13. As he's dashing Glynquinal calls out to Gruxx, "Come on Gruxx, put him down." For the Bonus Action Glynquinal will use Misty Step to appear at T16 behind giving Gruxx advantage on his next attack from flanking. Short sword and dagger in hand Glynquinal stands ready for the next series of actions ending his turn.
Once again, Gruxx is unable to get past the defenses of his adversary. Ian stands and runs toward the (blue) goblin, dropping his rapier and drawing his second dagger. He hurls one, attempting to incapacitate the creature instead of killing it. As he prepares to throw the second dagger, he sees the (blue) goblin fall to the ground. (OOC: Since you stated that you wanted to incapacitate it instead of kill it, it is now unconscious and will make death saving throws just like a PC would. You can help stabilize it using a medicine check or healer's kit, or you can give it a healing potion or have Herr Doktor heal it to wake it up. If you stabilize it, I will roll to find out in how many hours it wakes up. RAW [rules as written], ranged weapons can't knock anyone out, so I'm making a kind of exception for this, but it's not as simple as hitting someone over the head to just knock them out since you threw a blade at it.) Glynquinal decides to aid Gruxx and dashes to the point where he can misty step behind the (orange) goblin. As he appears from the silvery mist, he says, "Come on Gruxx, put him down."
OOC2: Glynquinal, since you didn't use your action, and you can't help Gruxx by being behind him, I used your action to dash in range to use misty step to end up on the other side of the goblin from Gruxx so that he'll be able to flank next round (as will you). Unfortunately, my map graphic doesn't include column U, so I have to indicate that you're just outside of the map in U15.
Round 4: Herr Doktor, Blue (unconscious, 0 saves/0 fails), Orange, Gruxx, Ian & Glynquinal - Ian and Glynquinal go at the same time
OOC- I missed a key part in that description. It should have read: For the Bonus Action Glynquinal will use Misty Step to appear at T16 behind Orange goblin, giving Gruxx advantage on his next attack from flanking.
U15 would achieve the effect I was looking for as well though.

The Herr Doktor Professor moves 25 feet to T14. As a free action, he speaks aloud to his companions as he moves.
"Kamaraden," he says to them, "let us try to force this goblin's surrender, and discover the reasons behind the ambush."
Speaking in the Goblin tongue, he says:
"Keep fighting, goblin, and you choose your own death." He gestures towards Grux. "You've avoided my large friend's blade so far, but it won't be long before it slices across your belly. Then you'll look down and see your intestines spill to the ground. You'll want to scream, but won't be able to." He gestures towards Glynquinal. "For the elf will come up behind you and slit your throat: you'll choke on your own blood before you can scream.
"But your ears will still work, and the last thing you will hear will be my magic words ripping your mind apart.
"Or you can surrender, and perhaps crawl back into your hole with all your body parts intact!"

Gruxx feeling empowered by song roars out in rage! "TEMPUS!", he bellows as he brings down the mighty glaive on the (orange) goblin.
Attack: 14 Damage: 15
Spoiler for if (orange goblin dies)
Gruxx will use remaining movement to charge as close as possible to (blue) goblin.
