The third time along the path, Herr Doktor and Gruxx spot it at the same time, calling for the horse to stop. While there is no trace of the two horse corpses that were left behind, the bard and barbarian point out the path leading north, which you remember following with your goblin captive (well, not Rock).
Glynquinal gets off the wagon and takes up a position close to the good Herr Doktor, "Perhaps you'll have an occasion to use that this time, but it would be nice just once to go unnoticed on our quest."
The party heads north along the path, not really feeling familiar with the trail, as you've only traveled it twice (to and from the cave), but Ian feel confident he knows where he's going. When he gets to the place where the goblin warned them of the first trap, Ian warns them to be careful, but then notices a piece of rope hanging from a branch. The trap has been sprung. Rock looks a little embarrassed, but says nothing. Another 10 minutes or so along, Ian feels his foot sliding into the earth as he marches.
Seeing the rope hanging from the sprung trap Glynquinal chuckles a little, "What adventurer would have managed to get caught in that?" when they pass it.
Ian manages to shift his weight enough to move backward. His arms pinwheel a little, but he steps backward. He looks down at a black hole the size of his foot in the seeming solid path. He then notices another hole slightly larger about a foot to the left.

Glynquinal to the rest of the party, "Well, that was harder to spot than I thought it would be. I wonder if any of the traps are still set?"
Ian says he remembers where the traps were and offers to lead the group on.
HDP, feeling bold, puts away his instrument and pulls out his rapier, hops off the wagon, and makes a few practice swings in the air.
Glynquinal gets off the wagon and takes up a position close to the good Herr Doktor, "Perhaps you'll have an occasion to use that this time, but it would be nice just once to go unnoticed on our quest."
Gruxx follows and complains aloud.
"Ugh I just remembered how dark it is in the cave. I hate these human eyes sometimes."
Rock will ready his great axe
Glynquinal to Gruxx. " I can simply cast light on a rock you can throw ahead of you. That will light your way for a while. It's an easy fix."
Ian, roll two intelligence checks, please.
Intelligence checks: 2. 6.

Ian, roll a DEX saving throw, please.

"Grrrrrrr"

"Grrrrr!" That be a pit trap!
Glynquinal to Ian, " We'll have to be really cautious. They may have set some more traps since the last time were here."
Ian mutters "Thats what I get for thinking this would be easy the second time around."
He investigates the ground to see if he can find a safe way through, or a solid place to walk 23
