Worried about why these skeletons are outside their sarcophogi instead of inside them, the Herr Doktor Professor will try to recall any bit of lore about the spreading tree design of the false columns. Perhaps it might provide a clue, he thinks ...
Nothing about the room reminds anyone of anything. The tree design is just a design. Perhaps it meant something to those entombed here or at least the ones who did the entombing. It doesn't have any significance to Herr Doktor Professor except to remind him of elven murals he has seen before. Gruxx gives the skeleton closest to the double doors a nudge with his glaive, but nothing happens.
Glyquinal opens the northwest door. He finds a short hallway with a single door at the other end on the right (15 feet away).

Glynquinal seeing the short passageway, will advance to the next door. Listening carefully for any movement on the other side briefly, he will enter the room ready for action with Talon drawn.
Rock moves to the first sarcophagus. The lid is carved with the image of a human male. Moving the lid, he finds within mostly moldering bones and scraps of clothing. Braving the morbid debris, he finds amid the bones a platinum signet ring. The second is carved with the image of a second human male, and the insides are similar: bones, scraps, and a platinum signet ring. The third is carved with the image of a human female, but the insides also contain bones, scraps, and a platinum signet ring.
Not having any luck with picking the lock, Glynquinal remembers there is an Iron key that was discovered during their adventure. He wil retrace his steps to see Rock who is carrying the Iron key as best he can remember.

Observing Rock's investigation of the sarcophogi, the Herr Doktor Professor finds his curiosity growing.
"These Redbrands are bandits, yet they left these tombs unlooted," he muses aloud. "Those platinum rings are clearly valuable, yet they were just left here."
He will make Religion and Arcana checks, to determine if the skeletons outside are guardians for those inside.
I don't remember who has the key, but whoever has it hands it to Glynquinal, who returns to the door. The door is opened to a 10x15 storeroom. Racks of weapons line the walls of this chamber, including spears, swords, crossbows, and bolts. A dozen dirty red cloaks hang from hooks by the door.
The skeletons are definitely some kind of guardians — whether physical or spiritual, you're not sure — neither are you sure guardians of what.
Glynquinal will take the time to let the rest of the party know the door is open and there are things in the room that may prove useful to them. He then sets about looking over the inventory to see if there is anything interesting. Regardless of whether or not something especially catches his eye, he will take a crossbow, and a quiver of bolts.
Glynquinal replies to Herr Doktor "That is not a bad idea. We might be able to pass for one of them briefly, or get close enough to the wizard to make sure he can't work his magic against us."
Glynquinal will follow his friend into the chamber. Taking a good close look at the single sarcophagus he will see if he finds anything familiar.
History 16
To Gruxx, "I wonder who these three were?"
Then, he will go open the door to the northwest.

Gruxx walks up and looks at the rings almost bewildered.
"Well... Maybe these Redbrands have some sense of honor after all."

Investigation 3
The Herr Doktor Professor will try on one of the red cloaks.
"Perhaps we can use these to fool some Redbrands and get the drop on them," he suggests.
Glynquinal replies to Herr Doktor "That is not a bad idea. We might be able to pass for one of them briefly, or get close enough to the wizard to make sure he can't work his magic against us."
Rock will also use one of the cloaks to hide his appearance for any up coming battles
The weapon racks hold 12 spears, six shortswords, four longswords, six light crossbows, and eight quivers holding 20 crossbow bolts each.
Glynquinal will take 1 light crossbow, and a quiver of bolts.
