Lilyth had been more preoccupied in keeping her combat skirt down in the wind tunnel they found themselves in before she could realize that Cora had come back to get her, but regardless of her wanting to protest, she took hold of the rogue's hand.

“Yes!” Cora yelled happily to Lilly, “We’re going to make i—“
She didn’t see the firebolt in time. She felt the firebolt. It slammed into her back and she yelped in pain as if dozens of blades were cutting into her, her leather armor and coat super hot, and the back of her neck and head most likely looking like pizza. Luckily, Lilly didn’t get hit. She screamed out a string of obscenities that would have made a child blush, and while gritting her teeth in pain, pushed forward with Lilly in tow.

Yes, you sexy *****, work it. Good job. Ok, I will keep on to HELP Lilly and hopefully we can dash together to the end.
Cora and Lily, you hold hands and push against the wind toward the end of the hall. Since you both succeeded on your saves, if you use your action to dash the two of you can just make it to the room and out of the hallway. Everyone is now safe and initiative ends!
The wind continues to blow in the hall behind you, and a few seconds after you all make it to safety another fire bold launches blindly down the hallway you just left behind. You now have a moment to take in the room you have all entered.
Like the halls behind you, this chamber is filled with hot air and drifting ashes. A two-foot wall made of scorched stone encircles a deep well in the center of the room. Across the room is a large alcove housing a massive obsidian statue on a raised dais. The figure’s features are a blasphemous blend of Menet-Ka and the god Anu-Akma. Its eyes flicker with orange light, glaring hatefully into the room. Four tall, wide, earthenware urns stand near the walls. An ancient, charred corpse is curled in on itself, seemingly kneeling at the statue’s feet. The walls writhe with softly glowing, flamelike carvings similar to those in the hall outside, catching a faint gleam of gold at the statue’s feet.
"Uhhchhh, I don't like this room." Cora says, taking off her coat and breathing heavy. "I'll just..rest for a moment, against..this floor." She lays on the floor face down, her head turned to the side. "Hit by fire twice in one night. I'm..noticing a trend here." Smelling like burnt leather, flesh, and hair, she weakly asks, "Do I still have a ponytail? I can't feel the back of my neck."

Cora does stupid things for me sometimes, things that she shouldn't do, but she does anyway. Every time I ask her why she does it she smiles, despite the pain, and says it's because she care about me and that she loves me.
This wouldn't be a problem if I wasn't so useless. If I could just do things myself, she wouldn't have to get hurt because of me. I wish she would think about herself more. I appreciate all she does, but my heart can't take it anymore. I feel at fault every time something happens and I wish I would just----

"It's because you're so hot," Lilyth's face winced at her own... Poor attempt at humor to mask how she really felt, settling herself beside Cora to get a good look at the burn. "Ghhn..."
It looked so much worse than she initially thought it did, finally getting a good look at it. "Uh... You're fine, just, erm..." In reality, the elf wanted to throw up. It was like looking at a piece of meat that some mongrel had chewed up and spit out then shit on, oh, and the smell didn't help at all. "Let me see if I can... Fix this." Lilyth opted to not directly touch the wound, instead, she took hold of Cora's hand again and cast cure wounds (at second level), hoping that did... anything.

Now that everyone has escaped the hell wind hallway and Lilyth is healing Cora, Erok will look around the current room. Noticing the charred corpse at the statue's feet, he turns to the party. "This door was, perhaps, not the best choice. However, since I doubt any of us are anxious to return the way we came, it seems heading forward is our only course." He points to the corpse. "Be alert - this seems like a trap. I am not sure . . . whatever that was is dead." He looks at Cora laying on the floor. "Perhaps you can walk behind me, Cora? I am less susceptible to fire damage and I do not wish to see you hurt further."
Cora breathed a sigh of great relief, once again, Lilly coming to the rescue for her brashness, impulsiveness, and action without thinking. The skin and hair returned back to normal, and the pain was gone. There was small evidence that she had suffered burn damage on her skin, but it would only leave another scar in the end, which she had plenty of.
"Ahhhh. Thanks again, Lilly." She weakly smiled, sitting up. "If this keeps up there's going to be nothing left of me."
FOUR MONTHS AGO
A barbarian, a half-orc warrior, a rogue, and a vampire cleric made an odd group, but Lylith and Cora were a part of it in the humid jungle they were trying to cross. Cora, in her reckless anger and attack strategies, was able to finish off the last raptor they encountered, but she suffered grievous wounds like always. Lilly had dragged her to the side, clearly not hiding the annoyance and frustration on her face, as Cora grimaced in agony at the bite and slash marks covering the exposed parts of her skin from the dinosaur sneak attack. By the pain in her breathing she could tell a few ribs were broken.
"Are you trying to get yourself killed?!" the vampire yelled at her, putting her hands on Cora's side as so the healing magic would begin, "You are so stupid and reckless!" Cora breathed a long sigh of relief, welcoming the healing magic from the cleric once again. She had every right to be mad. Cora was nothing but impulsiveness, and illogical thinking. "You're right.." She breathed, sitting up, "But I saw that last raptor going for you, and I got in it's way. I took care of it." The vampire nearly bared her fangs upon her. Her frustration with Cora was so apparent. "I don't NEED your help. You are REALLY something, aren't you? I can take care of myself! Don't you get that?" Lilly said, her hands on her hips. "Yes." Cora agreed, catching her breath. "I know you don't need my help. I know you are smart, brave, a skilled healer, and beautiful. I do it because I love you, OK? I've ALWAYS loved you. And, whether you like it or not, I will ALWAYS love you. I don't CARE about myself. I care about YOU." See looked at her and said nothing more. She got up, and walked away.
Snapping back to the present as Cora got up, she smiled at Erok. "That sounds like a great idea. I'm tired of getting fried, and i'm sure i'm stressing Lilly out a bit more than usual."
Erok nods at Cora's words. He begins looking around the room. Since there is no other visible exit from this room, he looks around to see if he can find another lever like in the previous room.
Erok, you begin to inspect the room, looking for any secret switches or panels. You find nothing as you move along the walls toward the ominous statue on the other side of the room. As you approach the statue, the crumpled body on the floor emits an earsplitting war cry.
The skull wrenches itself free and launches itself into the air, wreathed in unnatural green flames. At the same time, the four urns burst open and four shambling corpses come toward you with their arms raised.
Time for more initiative!

Okay. The flameskull goes first. It flies twenty feet up into the air (as high as it can get before it hits the ceiling) and opens it's mouth. A tiny red bead of light streaks from its mouth and goes off in a fiery explosion that fills the room (because it doesn't care about its allies).
