Lilyth sighed a breath of relief once the monster was slain, extending her hand again to recall the tome she summoned. Once the book dissipated from the air, she sheathed her sword again and put her shield at her back. She forgot how much magic could take out of her, thanking Thoth that she was able to heal her friends as much as she could with her faith, but regardless, she felt exhausted. Maybe it was Cora looking so fine. Maybe it was the air.
No time to rest now, you have to keep going. She put on a look of determination and walks towards the well and looks down it.

Lilyth: You inspect the well in the center of the room. It is covered in carvings of soldiers burning in a rain of fire. You don't see anything unusual about the well. You look down into it and even with your dark vision you can't see the bottom.
Maegan:You activate your magical sight and several things in the room light up. The well that Lilyth is currently inspecting glows with abjuration magic. The statue with the half tablet at its feet is glowing with fiery conjuration magic. The ring has a soft glow of transmutation magic to it.

Cora shifted a bit nervously. As a really shitty roller highly trained weapon of death, she relied on years of physical training and martial practice to murder foes, look for clues, and protect her friends. She didn't trust much magic at all, save for healing magic, and she never used it, nor understood it. The room made her nervous, and she didn't want to touch anymore. Most likely, this place was a death trap.
Erok listens to Maegan, sure after speaks that he wants no part of any of the magic here. "Surely there must be another lever or trigger that opens an exit for this room, yes?"
“I highly doubt that.” Lilyth sighs, pulling away from the well. Her eyes glance over to Cora, noticing the rogues unease in an instant causing her to walk over and, without any hesitation, plant a kiss right on the others lips.
She’s always so brave for me, it’s time I do the same for her.
She pulls away with a crooked smile and turns to address the group with a new brave face. “We can’t let the fear of magic get to us. I still have a few spells to keep us going...” She pauses. “I can try getting us all back to good health, it’s going to take a few minutes, if you all want me to do it. If not, we can try seeing about that tablet... Maegan you wouldn’t happen to know how to dispel magic, would you?”

Cora didn’t expect the kiss. It was an amazingly pleasant surprise. Lilly’s lips were soft, and she applied the perfect amount of pressure, like she always did. Before she could even process what had happened, Lilly pulled away and started thinking and talking, leaving Cora’s mouth slightly open post-kiss, and a dopey look on her face. It took her a few seconds to recover. She loved Lilly so much at times she felt like her heart was about to burst. She was inspired by her show of emotion.
She pulled out her blade and smiled, picked up the ring with the tip. Took the ring in her hand. Looked at it. Showed to to Lilly, and the others.
”Sure, a heal would be good to top us off.“ she said, and figured with the two spellcasters, it would worth to examine the items.
"I am unhurt, thanks to your previous healing, little one. But yes, please, if you can use your gifts on the others who are injured, do so. I have a feeling we will need to be in top form if we are to attempt a return the way we came," says Erok. He looks at the now open door warily.

Lilyth beams at Cora, happy to see that her little display of affection was what she needed to pick back up again.
“Hasn’t exploded yet!” She said, in regards to the ring at the tip of the others blade, using her index finger and thumb to pull it off and examine it closer.

The elf juts her bottom lip in a pout. “I got nothing,” She turns to Erok. “Here, I’m gonna go ahead and try to get everyone back in tip top shape!”
When Erok (or whomever?) takes the ring off her hands she’s gonna go ahead and start casting Prayer of Healing on everyone. After the ten minutes (unsure if anyone wants to rp in between her prayer) everyone gains 25 health back!
”I could’ve done better, but I hope everyone is feeling okay!”

Cora flinged the ring up in the air, for whomever wanted it, to catch. Still smiling, Cora sat in a cross legged position on the floor and waited patiently for the spell to end, after two burns, the extra heal would always be welcome. She closed her eyes and thought of a time before, almost 800 years ago.
BEFORE
Astrid and Cora looked at the enormous filthy automaton in their workshop . The robot Astrid found was badly broken and filthy, completely non functioning. It looked like a huge walking robotic armor of plate with a full helm. Once, a long time ago, it must have looked very dangerous and menacing. Today? Not so much. Astrid was on the deactivated robots shoulders, using a wrench and a hand rag to fix it's pneumatic shoulder joint. Cora was irritated, even more so than usual. Nim, Cora's own personal suit wearing steampunk servant, walked down from upstairs and brought her a tray of food and drink. "Thanks, Nim!" Astrid squeaked and started eating like a starving squirrel. Cora looked at the food. "Uch!" She grunted, "Apples, again?! I want PORK! Meat!" she cried. Nim raised up his hands and signed, If you don't like the snacks I make, you can start cooking yourself. Cora looked away, annoyed, mumbling a few swear words under her breath. She looked at Astrid, "Hells, do you even chew? You're gonna choke." Astrid lept back on to the deactivated robot and started working again, completely distracted in her work. They worked in silence, and as they did, Cora took bites of the apple. Popping her head faster than normally would be possible, Astrid perked up and said "Hey, what should we name this robot once it's done?" Almost on queue, Cora and Astrid's stomach growled violently, and Cora doubled over in a stomach cramp. They both looked at the apples, and then each other, Astrid asking, "Oh, you ate one too..??"
NOW
When the ten minutes were up, a breath of relief from Cora was all Lilly needed to know that the rogue was back to 100%.
There are certain things that Cora calls me that makes me feel all warm and tingly inside and for some reason my stomach gets all funny and full of butterflies, but at the same time I get super red! I like when she calls me the usual, but specifically when she calls me---
I feel really hot right now.
I can't write it down without getting flustered.
THOTH DAMN IT.
Lilyth turned completely AWAY from the rogue so she couldn't see her reddened face and headed straight towards where they entered and looked down the hallway.
"O-okay, so," Lilyth cleared her throat. "Something triggered this trap, so we need to be careful to not trigger it again."
Perception(?): 9

“Oh, I can see SOMEthing..” Cora said silkily, no shame. She saw Lilly turn. She knew the move. Looking at her ear, it was easy to see. Red. She smiled and once again the magnetism they shared was once again reminded.
The hardest thing in Cora’s life was not exactly finding a way to help Lilly, or deal with her Demon Masters, or finding out a way to deal with 1200 years from now when she knows they will turn on her.
It was suppressing the urges of her pounding heart and waiting till the got out of the tomb to tell Lilly how she really felt. To finally tell her the truth a out her feeling threatening to charge out of the gate like a pack of wild bulls. To show her physically, and not with words.
"I agree." She agreed, "No touchie touchie. We can check out the other rooms if you guys want?"
Erok steps up in front of Lilyth. "Let me look. Even I don't find anything, I am at least a little more fireproof than the rest of you, yes?" Erok looks back around the room they came from to see if he notices anything.
