Kixarn concurs with the group for dealing with the next adventure "I feel able more to deal with such things, now. A mighty magic has the group given to me from the treasure found, and it's powers invest my own, very well. Perhaps now magic I wield will prove more than slight inconvenient to any foes we face. Where we go from now, I leave to better knowledge. More spells and books of same will do more for me. Maybe this necromancer - once dead, dead - will have such."

“Can you tell me the difference between a witch and a wizard?" "Sure, a wizard is what they call you when they want to hire you, and a witch is what they call you when they're getting ready to run you out of town.” SunWolf replied ― Barbara Hambly, The Witches of Wenshar
Bastion nods, "Assuming she's still there, it would be worth going after her. That sorceress was causing a great deal of trouble, and the gear she took from Avan alone would be well worth the effort of recovery. It is unfortunate we were forced to withdraw rather than dealing with her permanently. I am reasonably confident we can handle her at this point."
"Fair warning, its a pretty harsh land out there, we will need to prepare."
"If the group can spare some little coin, I would buy some spells to protect us from the environment?" Kixarn asks "Nothing of greater power, just comfort against heat and such."
OOC - Kixarn will buy Endure Elements and prep it as a Communal spell when the time comes. He will write a few scrolls in the down time, as well.

The next stop is the capital city which is a few days away. Once you stop there you will be able to sell the extra stuff have and maybe buy some spells.
"We are off then. Maybe you can tell me of your times in this desert on the way there. All I know of the desert is that it is hot and plants do not grow well there. Or am I mistaken?"
The trip to the capital is not that long of a trip and you make there in a couple days due to fair weather and dry conditions. As you enter the city you can once again feel the hustle and bustle of a large city. People fill the streets as they come and go while preforming their tasks or needs. The gate you enter is on the South east side where everyone coming in are looked over by a squad of guards. They do not stop you or anyone that you see from coming in but everyone is stopped for a bit as they only let one person or wagon in at a time. After about 15-20 minutes of waiting your turn you are through the gates and into the city proper.
His cloak pulled close over his head, Kixarn hides his appearance in fear of the sudden press of strangers as they enter the city. Wanting to retreat from all the people, he finds a position behind the warforged's bulk, dark as a shadow.

‘Easy friend Kix. We have ur back, and front and whatever else needs covered. Deep breaths. Walk like u belong, not like u have something to hide or fear. Leave ur hood up if u wish-they’ll pay less attention if u don’t appear to be hiding’ Myth will say in a soft voice.
"What do you wish to do first? Find a nice place to settle for the night or visit the shops before they close? As for me, I made sure not to eat until we got here. I want to try some of the food here. Maybe some nice cheese." Ghanima grinned, seeing Kixarn pull his hood up tighter she likewise pulled hers taut and then relaxes at Myth's comments. "Understood."
Nodding at Myth's reassurances, Kixarn still is unable to avoid his fears, the nearness of so many strangers truly an anathema to his spirit. Answering Ghanima, he puts in his desires "A mage who spell sells, and someone with change to buy. Get this done first for my choices, so we can be prepared for deserts. If we have time, I'll make scrolls to keep people from heat. We have magic aplenty otherwise."

‘Let us then hie unto the shop of a seller of spells to see what his charge for enumeration will be. I have some coin to spend and gems to barter with, and am willing to assist you in your needs if I can.’ Softly spoken to keep passersby from overhearing.
Bastion looks around. "There is not much for me here, save for those projects Kixarn promised to work on on my behalf. The desert doesn't bother me much. Should anyone require any extra funds, I have a reserve here in the bank."
Mmkay, as discussed before, pending GM approval, setting aside 1,750 GP for the research of a warforged friendly version of the lesser vigor spell, and then a wand of the same. I have an additional 3,250 in the bank should anyone require it. Basically, the next things I need cost a good bit more than that, so...
Kixarn will buy a Wand of Vigorous Repair, and the spell Endure Elements. 1750GP for the research and wand and 50GP for the spell?

This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Avan has nothing that comes to mind he needs to buy currently. Considering the group already agrees to venture into the desert, and not wanting their decision to change, he goes alone to figure out if the city or nearby towns have more pressing concerns. He keeps this to himself so he alone can judge if a quest serves his purposes.
If you buy anything make sure to update you character sheets. This way I will know who has what. Otherwise you will be spending the night at a inn. The more you wish to spend on a room the better the surroundings. Inn rooms cost 3 copper, 8 copper, 1 silver, 3 silver or 3 gold per person per night.
After a couple days in the capital you soon find yourselves on a caravan heading west back towards the town that you left a few months ago. This time the trip west is profitable as you signed on as caravan guards along with a few others. The meals are included as part of guard duty and you get paid 5 gold each when you arrive at the next large town. You are both excited and apprehensive about the desert and if the lady is still there.
A few weeks later you are at the next city and head south to the desert border town. You have no issues getting there and getting a room at the inn for the night. Let me know what your next steps will be. Dena bids you all good hunting as she leaves the group being back in her home town. She heads for the temples in the border town.
Everyone gets 1,000 Exp for being guards and surviving a couple small skirmished on the way as guards.

Arilynia will miss the ones departing, and wishes them well in their travels.
As the the rest of the group, she states:
"I'll go back into the dessert with you and deal with the foe there."

Just let me know what you wish to buy. Here in the capital city you can find anything listed in the books at the book prices.
