Blau, hearing the sickeningly sweet refrain, scoffs to himself and moves over to Kiven. "Lord Asmodeus has a cure for the SunLord's tool. Your bow will be able to hurt this creature far more if I give it some of His divine power." He then touches the bow and a dark cloud of power coalesces around, sinking into the material and leaving a dark aura on the surface. He then remains out of easy sight of the creature, waiting for a chance to do more than help others.
OOC - additional d6 unholy damage, and all damage is considered evil.
“Can you tell me the difference between a witch and a wizard?" "Sure, a wizard is what they call you when they want to hire you, and a witch is what they call you when they're getting ready to run you out of town.” SunWolf replied ― Barbara Hambly, The Witches of Wenshar
From his shelter behind a handy desk, Blau retorts "And maybe you might have a use, too, if you can show better aim than you've shown in past attempts!"

Eya hears the music and looks back at Kiven with an eyeroll that could rival that of a rebellious teenager. "Ugh, gross," she groans.
Still, she scans the room, trying to think of a way to handle this creature. "I have an idea that can maybe help, but we need this thing in the room," she whispers to the others. Then, she inscribes another Infernal rune into her forearm and grits her teeth as it burns into her skin.
"In the meantime," she points her wand out towards one of the ballistas atop the gatehouse and shoots off another fireball to destroy it.
Fireball: 15
Oh also, burning another level 2 spell to get two more reservoir points with my movement action, putting me back up to 4.
Oh and would like to keep this available for the duration of the fight, at least until it gets used...
(Also would like to prepare Windy Escape from spell scars as an immediate action if Kiven is attacked, if that's how this works like in our 5e game, Daishain. Figured I'd mention it here and we can work it out if relevant.)
The gestalt drifts closer, and stops just outside of the window. The orbs pulse with a bright flash of light, and rays of energy streak out, connecting with Kiven and Eya.
Kiven takes 8 damage, Eya 4. The gestalt has not entered the room and is not in position for anyone to move up and strike in melee.

Eya grits her teeth in pain as the light burns her shoulder. She turns and fires one last fireball at the remaining ballista. Then, she says to the party, "Let's go down one more floor. That will force it inside if it wants to give chase."
Blau nods, frustrated that the Archon isn't brave enough to engage him directly, and runs down the stairs as well. As he goes, he puts a blessing on his own crossbow, disliking that he has to resort to such an impersonal weapon.
Move downstairs then Unholy crossbow.

Kiven draws back on more arrow with the now Asmodeus enhanced bow and lets it fly at the mega-archon before bolting down the stairs with the others to find more cover.
Kiven's arrow streaks out and strikes the celestial being, it looks like it had a real impact that time.
The group rushes down the stairs, crowding into the relatively narrow hall here. The stairs continue downward, there is a door out to on top of the main wall, and another door that looks to go to someone's private quarters, though it is locked at this time.
The gestalt floats about halfway down the stairs from the floor above, pauses, and light pulses once again. This time one of the light rays miss, but one strikes Blau in the back.
Blau takes 8 damage.
Note, anyone approaching the gestalt must pass a DC 16 Will save or be affected by its aura of menace. This results in a -2 penalty to AC, saves, and Attack rolls for either the next 24 hours or until you successfully strike the gestalt. In the latter case, the afflicted becomes immune to the effect for 24 hours.
Blau grimaces as the searing energy penetrates his rough skin, then turns and fires his crossbow, the bolt shimmering with darkness as it sails towards the target. He then moves with the rest of the gang as needed. "Mitra's sputum! Go back to your CandleLord!"

Eya quickly scans the rooms walls, floors, and corners. She waits until just after the Archon's next action, then her eyes glow a shadowy black. Long arachnid legs begin to protrude outwards from up along a nearby wall. One after another until all eight legs are visible, a giant black spider with a red hourglass on its backside emerges.
Eya pants heavily and grins as she watches the spider emerge.
The spider looks at its prey menacingly and shoots a large bundle of web at the creature. Attempting to entangle the target and lock it down to the floor and walls nearby.
I'm summoning the spider farther away, 30 feet away from the gestalt or a little more up to a max of 50 feet for the web. Basically place it wherever you think is best for maximum webbage, Dai.
If it hits, it should give -4 Dex (-2AC) hopefully making it an easier target. If it wants to get out it has to use it's action. Casting it just after the targets turn to place the spider in initiative right after the gestalt. This should let the debuff last for everyone until it's next turn.

Respar sees the others doing plenty of damage to the creature of light, and then Eya's spider. For one moment he thinks they might need to lure it into a crossfire, so he tries to deftly unlock the other door.
Blau's bolt streaks out and strikes true, But Kiven, trying to aim around Selena, is not so lucky and his arrows merely impact the wall. Meanwhile Respar fiddled with the door lock, but fails to get it open.
Selena charges up at the creature. In spite of feeling momentarily weak, she pushes through it in order to deliver a single harsh blow. In response, the gestalt hits her with something that feels like a fist made of air.
Eya summons a giant arachnid that flings a web at the celestial swarm. They give a cry of outrage that sounds like poorly tuned violins as they become entangled in the webbing.
Knowing Selena and Blau will no doubt have a fanatical retort to the archons Kiven says quietly "oh boy, here we go..." to Respar and Eya.

Kiven ponders why his arrow barely seemed to faze the archon cluster, but fires a couple more arrows to collect more information based on the results.

Upon hearing the archon song, Respar mutters something about preferring, "Sympathy For The devil."
Respar says, "I'm not sure I'll be much use against this thing, but I'll give it a go." He readies his rapier.
