Kiven maintains his ranged assault on one of the blinded enemies, trying to bring it down quickly and turn the tide of this fight. He recalls the magic of his previous cold spell to cast it once again.

Respar once more feels the icy grip on his heart the wraith uses...
Fort Save 4
Respar shivers as he feels the lift being sucked from him, and knows he has no other option but to keep fighting. He tries to strike once more with the enchanted rapier.
Abraxxus strikes out again, flaming axe tearing through the wraith. It shrieks, the shadows forming it dispersing into nothingness.
Eya casts another spell to bolster Respar's defense. Blau steps back, trying to avoid getting attacked as he reads from a hastily retrieved scroll. A wraith swipes at him, but misses. The spell settles over the group, seeming to cause them to be a little more hesitant to approach the knot members.
Respar strikes out and misses, Kiven has more luck, managing to sink all three of his arrows into the blinded wraith near Blau.
The dread wraith strikes Grumblejack again, while the ogre's attacks continue to do nothing, he calls out, "Eya? Dis Isn't working?!" His voice seems near to panic.
The lesser wraiths continue to attack Respar and Blau, but both miss.
Abraxxus roars in triumph as his wraith opponent falls. Hearing the fear in Jack's eyes he calls out, " Here I come Jack. " He flaps his wings to build up speed and then strikes at the dread wraith from the opposite side of Jack. " You dare mess with your betters?, " he grins at the wraith.
Satisfied with the result of his casting, Blau returns to the fray, aiding Grumblejack with his flaming fists, acid droplets glistening from the knuckles. Attacking the dread wraith, he tries to distract the mostly dead cleric from it's attacks on the ogre.
“Can you tell me the difference between a witch and a wizard?" "Sure, a wizard is what they call you when they want to hire you, and a witch is what they call you when they're getting ready to run you out of town.” SunWolf replied ― Barbara Hambly, The Witches of Wenshar
Eya replies to the distressed ogre, "Sorry Grumblejack, they only get hurt by magic. Just defend yourself and try not to let them hit you. Don't panic, it's my turn to protect you."
Eya fires off three missiles of force at the weakest looking wraith.
Grumblejack looks relieved when Blau and Abraxxus join him in fighting the largest of the wraiths, and actually deal some damage to it unlike his strikes. The dread wraith looks unamused by Abraxxus' taunts, "Betters?! Betters?!!!! I am the high priest! You are fools to have even approached me!" Instead of the ogre, Ezra strikes out at Abraxxus, spectral claws digging deep into his form.
Meanwhile, Respar keeps trading blows with the wraith before him, it manages to land another strike.
Eya and Kiven attack the third wraith together, landing several hits. It manages to shake off the blindness effect, and then looking around, flies straight at the tiefling arcanist, howling as it rips into her.
Nasty round here for the party Abraxxus, 7 damage and DC 19 fort save vs 4 con damage Eya, 3 damage and DC 17 fort save vs 5 con damage Respar, 3 damage and DC 17 fort save vs 3 con damage
Abraxxus resists the ethereal hand trying to damage him. " Dead priest of a dead God. " Smoke billows out of his nostrils as he swings his fiery axe downward at the wraith.
Eya winces in pain as her life is sucked from her. Feeling very weak, her skin begins to crack like molten rock as she disappears and reappears much further away from the wraith. She fires off three more bolts of arcane energy at the creature.
Using Dimensional Slide to get as far away as I can while still maintaining line of sight. That's basically 50 ft. teleport plus an extra 25 of normal movement if needed.
Kiven too backs off from the wraith that attacked Eya if it is now closer to him, silently encouraging Calarel to do the same and stay behind him. He fires another volley of magically infused arrows at the 3rd wraith, moving to the fourth and final smaller wraith if the party can finish off the third.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Blau, a bit disconcerted at how severe the aches from the undead's strikes are affecting him, shifts slightly and hits out again, trying to put this thing back into it's grave!

The wraith before Eya gets blasted apart by the force missiles.
Kiven hits the one near Respar a few times, and the rogue manages to finish off its weakened form. The lesser shades dissipate, leaving only Ezra Thrice Damned.
The wraith screeches in fury as its minions are dispatched, and again as Abraxxus' axe bites relatively hard. Blau also manages to land a blow. Ezra strikes out again, but this time Abraxxus is able to duck underneath.
Talk about a swing in luck, no damage to anyone this round
Abraxxus laughs as the priest misses. " Enough fun, weak one. Taste my wrath!" He flaps his wings to get a little lift. Dropping down his axe flashes at the top of the wraithe's head. His sinews flex as he changes the angle just in time to slice right through where the creature's neck would have been. Flame trails behind the axe as the spirit screams in anger, dissipates and is gone. Abraxxus roars in victory and holds his axe high in one huge clawed hand. He eyes his companions with a hint of flame visible down his throat. Chuckling he commands his axe to cease flaming and sheathes it. " Poor challenge there. "
The shade of the former high priest dissipates, and the room goes quiet. Grumblejack sits with a sigh of relief, rubbing at his chest where the wraith's claws had gone through him.
Shortly after the group files into the temple, the last door back in the hallway bangs open, and two creatures step out, their appearance eliciting a brief shriek from Celarel. Their basic form resembles that of a bear, but they stand upright, have cloven hooves, strange clawed hands, and twisting horns.
They walk up towards the fane, one of them saying in remarkably understandable common. "What did I tell you dear brother, we have intruders again." "Indeed, and they've made a mess of that undead thing that thought it was Ezra. Good, it was annoying." "Whoever you are, we would love to have a bit of intelligent conversation, but regrettably our orders are clear, any unauthorized people on this level are to be killed immediately." "Yes, terribly sorry, but we're going to have to eviscerate you now."
The two daemons step forward, but when they reach the door to the fane they stop, apparently unable to continue. "Oh, how annoying, that order is still in effect. I suppose we will have to wait for them to come out." "Don't tell them that!" "Its not as if they're going anywhere else, this is the only entrance." "But they might decide to starve to death rather than come out and face us, and that's no fun at all."
The pair continue bickering over the merits of how to get the group to exit the room and get disemboweled.
At first a bit nervous as the daemons approach and subtly relieved that a mystic barrier wards the passage, Blau hears their conversation with some surprise. As they debate he offers loudly "It's not all that bad, actually. We have an authorization of sorts - we're on a mission to help the God of this place, if that matters to you. Please feel free to stick around at a distance, and we'll be back with proper credentials in no time!"
To his companions he offers "While their conversation is rather succinct and single-minded, I think we should rest and recover before we proceed further. I can bring my Lord of Contract's powers to help us recharge our spirits from those wraiths. Perhaps in a corner, though, since only the door is next?"

Kiven steps forward to only five feet or so away from Hexor and Vexor and clasps his hands behind his back. "Greetings, defenders of the Horn of Abbadon. As my lithic friend here has stated, it would seem that our missions are not necessarily unaligned. If you cannot proceed with the 'immediate' part of your orders, perhaps 'intelligent conversation' is permitted? I would surmise that would be no more or less permissible than silence, given the circumstances."
"Who, may I ask, decides who is 'authorized' such that you can carry out your orders as intended?"
When Kiven is not speaking to the two daemons he decides to search the priest's quarters. Whispering to Eya and Blau, he reminds them that there is likely an object here somewhere that the priest used to control Hexor and Vexor, and what better place than the priest's temple and quarters to search for this. Additionally he points out a strong conjuration aura on one of the walls, commenting that his best guess is that there is a secret door.
