Respar ties the rope to a crenellation at the front of the gatehouse. He flashes a signal to the others to begin getting the ogre up. While they do that, he looks down at the front of the gatehouse. He wants to see if there are any openings, other than the portcullis, into the gatehouse. It would be best to know if there were windows on doors before they drop to the ground...
Kiven draws more rope from the rod and works with Respar to anchor it for Grumblejack. He then joins Respar is peering over the exterior side of the gatehouse for any signs of trouble, or horses or anything else of note. He also steals a glance at what freedom may look like via the road beyond, or the moors if need be. Once the rope is available, and assuming the coast is clear, he'll help the talented rogue ready the rope again for a climb down, making sure it can be pulled down again when they are done.
Eya looks out across the landscape, mentally making note of the details of the surrounding area. Then stares out at exactly where she needs to go, southwest across the moors and to the mansion. She points out across the moors then motions for the group to continue down the other side of the tunnel.
Soon enough, everyone has crossed over the gatehouse, and stand at the far end of the bridge. Grumblejack doesn't bother with the rope on the way down, just dropping to hang by his hands for a moment before falling the last five feet.
Arrows might still strike you in the back, and men may give chase, but in this moment, you are finally free. The bridge continues for another dozen feet before merging into the ground. Beyond that, the road stretches on to the west, inland.
Once the group is somewhere and at relative safety, Eya will address them, "We don't have the luxury of sticking to the road. We need to cut through the moors as fast as we can. Are you two humans going to be alright in this darkness? Here, take this." She rips off a patch from her veil and it magically pops into a lantern. She hands the lantern to Jesla, then explains, "This is a hooded lantern. It's about the stealthiest lantern we are going to get right now. I will turn it on for you after we are a bit deeper into the moors. For now, the two of you will have to follow me and the Prince. Grumblejack, stay right behind me and follow me as well."
Respar nods to Eya's words. "Lead on, then. But how about just in case until the lantern is lit, you lead by rope. We'll hang on to it. If we hear trouble before the lamp is lit, we'll let go and go to ground. But once the lamp is lit, we'll make the best time possible."
Jesla takes the lantern with a laugh. " Of course I'll be okay out here. I live in the wild like this. We don't have fires everywhere like most do. I don't know about Respar though. " She laughs again. Jesla follows along behind Kiven and Eya.
The group proceeds into the moors. Low shrubs and stunted trees dot the hills, and the low areas are filled with water and mud. Shortly after you lose sight of Branderskar prison, you hear a faint sound on the wind, a loud horn.
"That's our cue to move," Eya says as she snaps her fingers and the hooded lantern in Jesla's hand lights up. "You can lead now. Just keep going straight ahead. We need to go fast now and stay alert."
Eya will stop leading once the lantern is lit and stay in the middle of the group with Jesla in front and Grumblejack hopefully following behind her still.

Respar grimaces, but then shrugs. "It was bound to happen sooner or later. At least I don't think we have to worry about them coming on horseback." He does his best to keep up as they try to slog quickly through the muck and mire.
Jesla almost drops the lantern when it lights up on its own. " How did...." She clams up as she glances at Eya. " It is time to get lost in these moors. I don't know about the rest of you but I don't care to be recaptured and tortured to death. " She scans ahead with the lantern and picks up the pace now.
The group proceeds into the moors with some haste. Respar manages to keep Jesla from stumbling into a bog as they move. So far at least, there's no signs of pursuit.
About a half hour later, a deep croaking sound is heard in the distance. Grumblejack says, "Big hopper. A bunch of 'em around here. They can't fit Grumblejack in mouth so they always left me alone. They like eating you little ones though."
As the party breaks out across the moors Kiven takes the lead with Eya, striding with smug confidence despite the rough terrain. He does look over his shoulder from time to time to check on the progress of the lesser races, however. When the horn sounds the tall elf does stop and stare back at the prison for a moment, a very satisfied grin on his face as he imagines the chaos there and the realization of others that even this famous prison could not keep this son of Aloro from his destined path. Still smiling, the elf turns and resumes distancing himself from any pursuers.
As Jesla takes the lead and Grumblejack mentions 'big hoppers' the elf slowly glides towards the middle of the party and a bit closer to Grumblejack. He comments to Eya "ah yes, the 'big hopper'. I must have missed that species amidst my study of the various animal phyla. What genus do you suppose that belongs in, the same one as ogres, perhaps?" The Prince seems both annoyed with having to listen to one such as Grumblejack for this long and pleased with his own superior wit.
Eya replies to Kiven, "Ugh, probably the giant man-eating frog genus if I had to guess." She shakes her head at the general situation then speaks to the larger group, "Everyone keep your eyes peeled and prepare to fight if we must. We have no choice but to keep moving through here for now. Grumblejack, keep your eyes out for the big hopper too. Don't let him eat me or I'll be very upset okay?"
Not her skill set but I can have Eya try for a Perception check to actively keep her eyes out for this hopper.
Jesla forges ahead with her eyes darting from side to side looking for any hint of trouble. " If we are attacked remember to stay together no matter what. Many times creatures such as these try to split members of a group away from the others and then pounce on them. That's the way of a hunter. " Her eyes gleam in the darkness for just a moment as she thinks about hunting.
Respar just keeps moving in the direction they have chosen. His sword is ready, as he doubts he would see anything at a distance where a bow would be of use.
The group veers around the noise and continues on. A few hours later, more croaking sounds are heard, a lot closer this time, and there seem to be multiple sources.
A few dozen paces away, a trio of huge frogs are poking their heads out of a pond. They appear visibly excited.

Jesla feels the excitement come over here that always does just before battle begins. With a quick scan she dismisses the frogs as a minor concern. She draws her sword and grips it tightly in both hands. Assuming her battle stance, she waits until they get a little closer.
