The small kobold can see that the voices of his brothers are agitating a number of swarm of bats hanging from the ceiling. You think that if you better be quiet if you plan to make it past them without disturbing them further...

Once pointed out Vruuk scoffs at the threat they pose. And yet, seeing the others try to be more sneaky about things, he follows suit. Grudgingly. Unfortunately, hooves didn't make for quiet walking as much as his old feet did...
So as Cinders points out the threat hanging above them, everyone attempts to be as quiet as possible. Both bugbears however continue to focus more on giving each other dirty looks and stumble on the loose rock surrounding the underground lake. As the rocks clank loudly together the ceiling erupts with a loud ear splitting "SCREEEECCCHHHH!" The sounds of screaching and fluttering wings is almost deafening as the swarms descend on you.
Cinders eyes the swarming bats, and with a grin, puts one clawed finger to his nose, as if he was to blow a snot rocket. But instead of snot, a cone of flame comes out, engulfing the flying bats. (He aims to hit as many as possible with a 15 ft cone.)
Cinders launches a plume of flame up into the swarm of bats as they try to scatter away form the heat (Dex 8) but they fail to get out of the way of the eruption and half of the bats burst into flames and fall to the ground like flaming confetti.
As the fountain of flame erupts nearby, one of the stirges (G10) will swoop down and attempt to sink its long needle nose into the changeling Attack: 18 Damage: 5 The creature slams hard into Veng and drives a long narrow tube into his flesh before digging its claws into him and holding on tightly. (it is attached to Veng)
"Hmph! Puny little things, Buggers!"Vruuk says, drawing a dagger in his off-hand. After slamming his axe into the needle noser in front of him, he tries to skewer a few nearby bats readying to assault Gin. "And yaw'll need to stay away from me Sis! Ya annoying little shits!"He barks at them as wereboar fury starts to rekindle again.

The Large bugbear manages to cleave a few bats in half and spear a few more on his dagger, but the swarm of bats continues to screech and thrash wildly (4 damage dealt total)
As Vruuk turns his back to slash at the nearby swarm of bats, Another Stirge (F8) will take the opportunity to try to slam its syringe-like nose into the back of the bugbear Attack: 18 Damage: 5 The Stirge fails to connect with the Bugbear as it is unble to pierce through its tough bristly hide.
"Don't take it personally, just remember we're family and there are bad people after us. We don't have the luxury of getting mad at each other. "
Cinders leads the way, he keeps looking at Vignar to see if he can smell or hear anything.

Pok'im obviously upset by the altercation with Vruuk does not move (Stealth roll - 10) as quietly as would normally be the case.
