as Zinmaer finishes removing the keys form the cultist corpse, a cloud of black spores would wash over it and disappear into its eyes and mouth. A moment later it would rise up to its feet as a zombie as well. Mucor would then turn his outstretched hand from the corpse and point it out towards the fanatic. With a flick of his wrist, The minotaur would cause another eruption of spores to form a wretched hand that would attempt to choke out the enemy. "Get him.. do not let him escape..." Mucor would command the two zombies and remaining snakes before walking up towards the enemy himself.
Attack: 16 Damage: 14
(Action to cast chill touch and reaction to raise a second zombie. )
The fanatic sees the spectral hand just in time to move his throat out of the way but the hand still grasps his shoulder causing the veins on one side of his neck to turn black. The three remaining snakes and two zombies swarm towards the fanatic. He manages to fight off a snake and dodge one of the zombie’s attack but is constricted.
Seeing the tides change against his favor the fanatic flicks his wrist summoning the dagger to attack one of the snakes then reaches out to touch the other snake constricting him releasing inflict wounds. The dagger splits open the belly of the snake and it falls to the floor writhing. The spell shakes the large snake and causes it to lash out reflexively in its final death throws.
A bloodied fanatic now stands defiant among you, flanked by two zombies and a large snake. He grins as he coughs up a small bit of blood.
Apologies everyone, I think I'm going to have to drop out of this campaign. I just can't devote the time, and I'm afraid I'm being a hindrance to everyone else in the process.

Gabriel rushes forward to attack the fanatic weilding his battleaxe. "You have been found guilty. May your purification be swift."
Attack: 20 Dmg: 10
The axe slashes open a wound across the front of the fanatic. He still stands smiling menacingly but just barely. "Your judgment is weak. The will of Vaeril is too strong."

Jinara see Zinmaer grab the keys so he instead focuses his attention to the warcry of Gabriel. He moves until he sees the cultist encounter and then fires Fire Bolt.
Jinara's bolt slams into the chest of the fanatic hitting the open wound Gabriel just made. You smell the scent of burnt flesh as the fanatic falls grasping his chest. Looking down on the corpse you see a deep cauterized wound from where the bolt of fire struck. Silence enters the two rooms for a moment before you hear two voices from the southeastern cages in the western room.

A tan half-elf in surprisingly clean studded leather and cloak calls out to the group. "Hello... excuse me. Can you get me out of this thing. We were supposed to be a guest but were taken down here as soon as we arrived. My sister and I can help if you're here to kill the sheriff, that's why were here. That bastard killed our father two months ago for a petty squabble and had the audacity to personally invite us to this party. Apparently they knew something of the sort but we can still have the last laugh. Oh where are my manners... the name is Gaelin Xilvaris and this is my sister Aryn."
Mucor would hold out his hand and raise the fanatic as a zombie as well before moving to the standing corpse and searching him for items of value. The minotaur would then turn to the captured druid. "We need to get you out of here.. I think we should get you free from the building before finishing our assasination" Mucor would say as he commands his three zombies to stand by the door. Mucor would when wave away the last of his snakes before turning his attention to the creatures in the other cages.
"I suppose if you are willing to help us.... " Mucor would say to the prisoner before approaching the cage... "I think we should free the werebear as well... I have a feeling once we get upstairs... things are going to get messy.. and we will need all the help we can get" The minotaur would say with a snort.
"Yes, we can help" a slender, wood elf female with purple hair responds in a soft but confident voice. The elf is dressed in a somewhat loose but elegant dress. As she turns slightly you can make out the shape of fitted leather underneath the fabric of the dress. "I don't mind things getting messy as long as that monster is dead at the end of this. They took our weapons and put them in that chest." Aryn says pointing to a large chest in the northwest corner.
Zinmaer would introduce himself, "It is a pleasure to meet you both, my name is Zinmaer." He would unlock the cages of the elves and then give them each a slight bow before heading over to free the druid and werebear. He would fumble with the keys for an instant before testing each one out until he's found the right one. He would look to to the druid as he is unlocking her cage, "I'm glad we managed to reach you. Are you able to help us in this fight? My name is Zinmaer and we will do what we can to end the evil that lives here."
Zinmaer would move quickly across the dungeon and also unlock the chest for the elves so they can access their weapons (if the keys would work there as well).
The druid looks over herself and says, "thank you Zinmaer, thank you all. I'm afraid I'm very weak currently so I think I'd be more of a hindrance than help. Is it safe for me to exit out the back alone? If so which direction should I head."
Before anyone can answer the now freed werebear walks over and says in a deep guttural tone, "I will escort you to safety. *turning to address the group* My tribe will not forget this service. Which direction are we to head out of the back door?"
(The druids are to the West right?.... So the west?)
Mucor would nod to the druid and werebear. "Head west... there should be some druids just inside the treeline that will escort you to saftey." he would say with a snort before looking to his companions both new and old. "I say we take anything that might be of assistance with us and head upstairs.... we have a job to finish".
Aryn would gather her things and strap her daggers to the leather waist belt that wrapped around her leg. Notching and arrow and holding two more in her hand she would move towards to the stairs to keep watch while the others prepared.
If everyone is prepared, go ahead and make stealth and initiative rolls. (Initiative will be re-rolled when you find any of the three targets: Duke, Sheriff or Maestar)

Jinara, you check the list of invitees provided by the druids and find the names Gaelin and Aryn Xilvaris.

Mucor finds an interesting cluster of mushrooms in a damp corner of the room.
Aryn finds a pouch containing 50 gold, a flask of some kind of greenish black liquid and a few daggers.
"Agreed" Gaelin says grabbing his things. He joins his sister near the door and says, "We're ready when you are."
If everyone is prepared, go ahead and make stealth and initiative rolls. (Initiative will be re-rolled when you find any of the three targets: Duke, Sheriff or Maestar)
